How to grow a business during COVID.

good morning good morning i'm on my way to work here in an uber you know i find i ask people all the time this question how is business i always ask people the question famous common question people how's business and what i realized is business is how you make it we find ourselves in a very interesting time right now where the world is in this stop and go situation it's like are we open are we closed are we closed are we open everybody's confused who's going to win the election who's not going to win the election the whole world is in this sort of standstill and where it used to be the business would flow right there was conferences there was events there was all these great things today you have to go out and grab your business and earn your business and it's there and i will tell you this that it is there for the taking you know so it's not just enough today how's business well whatever comes in the door is okay no today we have to be aggressive today we have to work hard to fight for every piece of business you know during cove stuff was you know stuff was on before cove but stuff was on autopilot during covet i mean the height of it stuff came to a stand still and then after koben you came out of it by the way i'm already after coven in my mind i'll wear a mask i'll play by all the rules all social distance but in my mind covet is over because i have to move forward in my life my business and my career i can't sit and wait for cnn to tell me that everything's going to be okay so we're actively right now by the way we're actively going out and getting customers you know we used i used to just sit back and wait for customers to come to me it doesn't happen anymore you have to go out and you have to go get the business is there but you have to go and you have to get it so today ladies and gentlemen i'm begging you i'm imploring you don't be shy to reach out today don't be shy to make a phone call today don't be shy to make an email to make a post to engage with somebody that could be a possible buyer for your product or service because if you want to stay in business that's what you have to do i have a friend i have a friend who's in who's in the supply business he is in a he's in a lot of trouble right now because he was used to he coasted for many many years and he was used to people coming to him and uh i said to him last week how's business he said it's dead there's nothing going on i don't know what's happening you got to get you got to get out there you got to get up you got to get out nobody's coming to you today physically nobody's coming to you today because they can't and also in business people are concerned about their dollars where they're being spent now is the time that we have to be tigers and now is the time that if you want to succeed you have to go out there and you have to earn you have to earn big and you have to go hard every single day i hope this brought you value it's friday today don't clock out it's friday use today and use the value that today will bring to you god bless my name is barrel solomon thank you so much for watching
