We're here at the main entrance of NJPAC
in Newark, New Jersey, getting ready for
the HASC concert, A Time for Music 39.
This is the fifth year that Green Event
has the opportunity, honor, pleasure,
and privilege to plan, coordinate, and
execute the event planning aspect of the
HASC concert.
Green Event was hired by HASC 5 [music]
years ago with one goal, to transform a
concert into an experience.
We have four events happening [music]
over here simultaneously. That is what
we call a production at Green Event.
One, VIP reception at Robert Treat
Hotel, right across [music] the street
from NJPAC. Two, we have a lounge that's
open for all the VIPs during the
concert. Three, for all the VIPs that
are sitting in the [music] boxes have
butlers that are working for them all
the time during the concert, during the
show, serving them, [music] and feeding
them, and making sure they're being well
taken care of. Number four, everything
around and around the stage is organized
by Green Event, whether it's crowd
control, security, logistics, whether
it's venue [music] coordination and
communication, whether it's the whole
guest experience, how they walk in,
where they go, the signage. Production
was so excited, we're so [music] happy
with the outcome. How are we helping you
guys get to your ultimate goal?
>> [music]
>> Camp HASC has been around for over 50
years. There's been 50 years of real
work, of ahavas chesed, [music] of
mesiras nefesh, of sacrifice for each
other.
It it's it's really in recent years when
we have partners that we're working
together with
>> [music]
>> like Green Event, like Pivot, that are
really helping us kind of shine the
diamond, so to speak.
>> [music]
>> Polish the product, to show the world
and share with the world just how
important and how beautiful this work
is. Five years ago we were hired with
one goal and one [music] mission, to be
able to turn what was a just a concert
into an experience. And year after year
we're working harder, [music] stronger.
How can we make it take it up a notch?
How can we bring it more? We're looking
for the cast. Where's the cast? So,
we're here, we're crossing the street
into the Robert Treat Hotel.
And uh this is where the VIP reception
is happening.
>> [music]
>> So, we're here now at the entrance to
the VIP reception.
We have just about an hour to start.
Ellie's in charge of security. That's
his job over here. We trust in him
because at the end of the day
>> Thank you. if he messes up, we're messed
up.
You know what I love about Ellie? It's
just the energy.
It's also the security.
Over the last 5 years, one of the
biggest focus we did at Pacha at A Time
For Music concert
for the VIP reception is the bar.
The bar is the focal point. It became
that kind of like tradition, like, "Oh,
what's going to What's going to be this
year at the bar? Let's see the bar this
year." So, we're trying to come up with
cool concepts. Now, the details of the
bar that we came up with, we also want
to incorporate as much as possible the
theme, the vibe, A Time For Music,
Pacha. Take a look [music] at this harp.
Beautiful. This is a 14-ft tall harp
built out of love with details [music]
of details. And then we have the
beautiful chandeliers, custom
chandeliers with A Time For Music iconic
logo in the center.
Let's talk [music] food.
>> [music]
[music]
>> Ari. Yeah.
>> [music]
>> Talk to me in two words. What's your job
here today?
Um therapist.
Got it. Our main partner at A time for
music 39 is the one and only the
legendary Steinmetz, the producer
of tonight's concert. [music]
We only team up with the best and the
best of the best. We don't settle for
less. This is my friend Sholom Lamm, my
neighbor.
And um he What do you do for a living,
by the way?
>> [music]
[singing]
>> Anybody knows who Leiby Fasten is?
Surprise artist. This is kodesh
kodashim, okay? This is not the place
where you have meetings, you know? This
is the knock.
You wait till they open up for you. And
once you get in, you're in.
I got I got Laser. Laser, let me in.
Laser is in charge of taking care of all
the of all the the the the [music] the
peeps and the VIPs. He's the peeps.
We have the opportunity to have the
Thank You Hashem people over here. Are
you Green Event?
>> Wow, okay. Can you tell us a little bit
about what your part in HASC was? So,
there's the [music] stage, right?
And then there's everything around and
around the stage. The stage management
association [music] over here in NJPAC
doing their thing, you know what I mean?
>> [music]
>> Guys,
we have the one and only Avrumi
Schreiber [music] from the Freilach Band
over here on stage. Avrumi,
how many musicians do we have tonight on
the stage of
A Time for Music 39? I think around 45,
40.
We're still counting. So, we're 15
minutes away from showtime. Nachman's
about to go onto the stage literally 5
seconds. Nachman, in two words, how do
you see the transition all the way from
one all the way to 39? Like Probably Um
lots of [music] great technical
improvements. Ellie, a word about the
concert today. We're looking forward to
the party coming up. Of course. What the
is this? We have Alex over here.
Alex, what's the weather up there, Alex?
No, it's good. It's clear. So, did you
did you choose this instrument because
of your height? Yeah, hilarious. I
actually chose it because it was really
comfortable and fun. What is [music]
this instrument called? This is a
bassoon.
This screen that you're seeing over here
is basically [music] what the singer
sings it from, and this is the control
of all the screens that everybody sees.
They monitor, change, everything's
happening over here behind the stage, in
the back of the stage. Here we have my
dear friend Sruly Green, who did such a
fantastic, phenomenal job here tonight.
Yeah.
People ask me all the time, what do we
have in common? You want to tell us we
can? We both lost weight. Uh, we both
lost weight, and we both remained
looking beautiful.
>> Yes, and the energy. And let me tell
you, Sruly, it's the first time you're
at the HASC concert. We all grew up with
HASC. What was the experience [music]
like?
It was surreal. You know what surreal
means?
>> No.
>> It's not like cereal. It's surreal.
Nachman, can you explain to the audience
what surreal means?
>> It's surreal. It's hard to believe. You
can't imagine what you're seeing. That's
what it felt to me being on HASC. There
you have By the way, this is this is
this IS WHAT PIVET LOOKS LIKE.
It's exactly. Wow, what a name, what a
what a
what a voice, what an energy, what a
vibe.
Yeah. How did the wedding feel on the
stage? What a voice. The wedding on the
stage. You speak English or only Hebrew?
Yeah, only Hebrew, but I can try
>> Hebrew English, English.
>> A little bit English. You know, let me
tell you something. You, tonight, did
such a good job. This is so good. I
can't tell you how good. Thank you.
Is it the first time she asked?
No, it's two time. Two time? Two time
[music] in HASC.
Okay. I'm very excited. It's
a a

this event. Yeah, yeah. This guy did a
good job, man. I got to tell you. He did

from Israel. I like the look. We have
the honor, we have the pleasure to have
Naftali Kempa on stage. What a beautiful
show.
How was the feeling? How was the
feeling?
>> Amazing. See after this month. See after
this month, the first time? And many,
many more [music] months and right?
Great pleasure.
