We are going to meet many incredible kids. They are going to share with us their stories. Um and we're reminded of it all the time, whether it's from the news or from just, you know, like continuing to inquire how how is everyone doing in art as well? How are all the Jews around the world? What's going on? And um summer is a fun time. I'm having a great summer, Barashem. My lighting got weird. Um, I'm having a great summer, Bar Hashem. How about you? Who's having a great summer? Let's see. Yay. The Yowskis are having a great summer and the Girkovs. Lots of people are having a great summer. I'm so so happy to see that. and being here right now, we're going to still have continuing with the theme of having a great summer, but also making it super meaningful because we're going to dedicate all of the unity like we just heard in that song. We're going to dedicate all of the unity from tonight's helm army. Um, and also just all the Tahelm. Of course, this is the Tahelm army. So, when we got to the Tahelm in a couple you'll after after today's program um when we got to the Tahelm we're going to have in mind all of the soldiers and the hostages and also um tonight is specifically dedicated to one of the hostages who the whole world is talking about. Um unfortunately we know that we believe he is still alive Barashem but in very very very hard circumstances. His name is Rome Braslavski and his tahhelm name is Rome Bentamar and um I just want to say a few words about him before we start. Nothing scary just something meaningful. Um so Rome has been a hostage since October 7th. I mean, think about it. Like, who here is who here is 9 years old? Any nine year olds with us on the call? Okay, I see you guys. So, a lot of families have someone raising their hand. So, you know, if you're 9 years old, that means that two years ago on October 7th, you were maybe seven or maybe you were like just turned eight or something. Um, think about how much happened since you were 7 years old, right? So much happened. If you are a regular 9-year-old, let's say you're finishing third grade, it means that you had the whole second grade and the whole third grade. You learned how to probably um write more sophisticated, read more sophisticated. Um, you probably got taller. Um, you probably got smarter. You probably um joined had some new hobbies. Maybe you took gymnastics. Maybe you were part of a soccer team. Maybe you played football. Maybe you got some trophies. Think about just all of the regular normal things that could happen in two years. So, it's really almost two years. Hopefully, we will not get to that point. And Rome is one of those hostages who has experienced all of that same amount of time in a terrible place. And his family is waiting. And sometimes I think about the hostages and sometimes I think about their family. Raise your hand if sometimes you think about their family because maybe you're a sensitive person also who sometimes does. Okay. So, D'vorah and Freda, they both think about the families and um sometimes I just I can't think about everybody. It's too many people to think about. So, I try to think about like one person. And I one time saw a video of this hostage named Rome or Rum. I'm not sure how you pronounce his name in Hebrew. Um, so his name is Ron Brusslavski and he has a brother named Ziv and Ziv is 13 years old. That means that he really is like bar mitzvah age, but his bar mitzvah was not a fun celebration. And I saw because his brother is a hostage and he's he's not interested in having a fun time while his brother is suffering. And I saw a video of this boy. His name is Ziv. And he he was so brave and so strong. And he's such a sweet boy. He even knows English. And I'm so impressed because you know me, I I get very impressed by incredible kids. And some incredible kids are incredible without even knowing that they're an incredible kid. He must know he's an incredible kid. But um I saw a video of him talking and I said, "Wow, he is such a special Nishama. He is a strong boy. He believes that his brother is going to come home and we need to we need to think about what it's like to be a brother, right? What it's like to be a brother. And so I actually got on the phone with this hostage room with his aunt. She lives in California. Any California people with us? Any California people with us today? Maybe. Who knows? Hold on. I'm just pressed. Um, sorry. I just pressed something. So, he has an aunt named Anat. And she's an aunt that has not had a normal life for two years cuz her nephew is a hostage. And I spoke to her and I'll tell you what I told her. I called her on the phone and I said, "Listen, I got your phone number and you don't know me. My name is Siri. I live in Baltimore." And I don't even know what to tell you because your life must be really, really, really hard. Like, you have family that's suffering right now. real family. I mean, we all say we're family, but that's her family. And I don't know how I don't know what to say to make it better, but I just want to tell you that I'm lucky to be part of a very large group of children who call themselves the Tahillim army. And we dive in for all of the hostages all of the time, every single day. And then we get together on Zoom once a week. And um and sometimes we even dedicate the whole night to one, you know, to that hostage. And so I think it's important that you know tonight just because I gave her this promise that we think about and it's true. We really take time to think about every single one by themselves. And so tonight for Roman Tamar, I dedicate this night to his return, his safe return, healthy and safe through miracles. Hashem can do anything. but also to give comfort and please Hashem bring comfort to his brother Zev his aunt Anat his parents his everybody everybody in his life because when we really think about it like that it hurts us also it's so painful and it pain it hurts them the most so Hashem should give them all strength and this shabas that's tomorrow night you guys know what it's called it's called shabas nakamu and nakamu means to comfort comes from like the word to comforted. If your name is then you know that that name means comfort. So this is the comfort chabas and I just dive in that every single family member that's affected as well. Aides from the hostages and the soldiers who are in danger or whatever all the family members feel that comfort. The comfort that every one of you wants to have. Every one of us will have we have a comfort just knowing that Hashem loves us and Mashiah's going to come. And just like the Na'vi tells us about the horrible things that happened for the Jewish people like the Bis Mikdash getting destroyed and all of that and it came true. Guess what? The Na'vi also talks about Messiah and peaceful times and that's also going to come true. So that's the we have to look forward to. That's why it's a shabas of comfort after such a hard time and a tishabove and everything. So we're going to look forward to a beautiful Shabas and I just hope everyone could feel that peace a little bit in some way. Okay. Can you teach everyone how to do the zipper? >> Oh, yeah. That one took me a long time. I remember when Chabas I was at my cousins. I was just sitting. It was like I don't know what for some reason I was just sitting on my bed just like I couldn't get it. That was like I'm like well I just running around the place I can do I can do that. I was like so yeah every day I just it's very hard. So I teach a lot of people a lot of people ask me how do you do this? How do you do that? So you kind of want to like not breathe in but like suck in and make like in the corner of your mouth whichever one you feel better with like like or you could suck in or breathe in. You should get something sounding like that. It's It's hard to explain. I tried watching a tutorial how to do it. He's like, "Do this." I'm like, "Nah, I gave up." And I just tried doing myself and I got it. >> Wow. Okay. I have a question for both of you boys. Um cuz I see I know I know the type. Like I try and I'm like it doesn't it just sounds like I'm spitting at you. >> It's It's very hard. >> Yeah. >> Um I I have a question for you guys, both of you. I I don't know. I'm not saying you're the same personality cuz I I don't really know you that well except I told Yakov Yeah. when Yakov called me I told Yakov that your grandmother Mrs. Heinaman anybody here whose mother or father anyone here on Marmy whose mother or father went to yeshiva spring valley boys or girls would know their grandmother. >> I don't think there's anyone who doesn't know their grandmother. Remember those? Any moms on the call that remember Zadiesel? So Mrs. Mrs. Henman would read us the broken heart and she would read these stories to us from the newspaper. She would clip them on Shabas and bring them. It was so sweet. She really cared about us. Even though she was just our substitute teacher, she cared like to get to make the kids excited. She would bring stories with her. I really never forgot that and I remember that from her. So anyways, um, uh, Yakam, my question to you is having like the kind of energy like you guys have, is that hard to is it like hard to control yourself from like beatboxing like during >> beatboxing all the time? My older brother's like, man, could you stop? Ma, could you stop? Could you tell to stop beatboxing? >> Oh, there's another brother who doesn't beat box. >> What? >> There's another brother who doesn't beatbox. >> Well, he's actually a twin. So, I was it like the whole thing was inspiring or there was like one message that you keep thinking about or something? um how it's really how every person wanted to like like they were resilient like they just wanted to keep on going and they just even though that yeah it was hard that there's so much destruction happened they still wanted to like rebuild and they still want to move back and they still feel like protected from Hashem. >> Wow. And even for kids who don't look like that, like we're all we're all so connected and we all care about the same things in our hearts and it's so fun to like learn about different kids and different communities, right?
