What's the difference is I become involved in the knowledge and that's the whole idea of how thoughts work. We spoke about the concept of meditation of disengagement. What is the hardest part not to follow your thoughts in in the world of meditation? Everybody knows the basics of it is yeah close your eyes, breathe, relax, right? And start what? So you start thinking I have time. Okay. So watch your thoughts and and don't go there. Oh really? What am I going to do now? You understand? And and the thoughts don't stop. So what they'll tell you is it's fine. Don't get upset. Just watch your thoughts. Don't get angry. Don't say I'm now going to free myself up because the thought that I'm now going to free myself up is the hardest thing is will not allow you to free yourself. But it's really just watching the eye, observing the thoughts. And the fact that you can watch yourself, you can watch those thoughts means that the eye is not the thought. The eye is not the thought. And with real real practice and with real real skill and with real discipline and presence of mind, this could bring a person to a very very deep place. There's also other methods that are wellknown and not so well known. I'm just giving one example. But all of these methods have a common denominator and that is you must disengage the eye from because thoughts don't stop. Every moment you're thinking about something. What happens? What happens is when a person can really do that, the eye somehow could start experiencing the consciousness of the world, the consciousness of existence that's not being pulled down in a particular thought. So when I want to know something by definition, I need to know it. So I have to tune in to this information and listen to it and think about it. That's called ya. And that's called his slopos. And there's a change. Before I knew it, while I knew it, and after I knew it. Before I knew it, I was in this place. After I know it, I'm in this place. And in the middle of knowing it, I'm in this place. And we can all see that when thoughts are happening, most thoughts take the people with them. I am what I think. So the the thoughts shlept me and they define me. Why do they define me? Because that's what I'm involved in. takes a lot a lot of work to be able to watch the thoughts from a distance usually especially if you're busy. Yeah. The thoughts this is where I am.
