it's no secret that barakai is one of the Premier Community Schools everybody gives us feedback and tells us how a barchai student they could spot them from a mile away Far Cry gave me a super strong foundation in Torah mitsuba that I don't think I could have gotten anywhere else the way the boys and girls pray the Torah knowledge that they have was walking into a different world I've been in education for almost 15 years and we've always been impressed with the Barca graduate they're a special type of kid [Applause] thank you I've been with barkai since it was just a dream we built the School from 13 children in a living room on East 8th Street we moved into the Avenue and Jewish Center then we moved into this building which we quickly outgrew and it's about time that we're taking it to the next level the parent body in Barca is amazing every event that we have they're dedicated they're committed and that's what makes Barca so special so when the parent body speaks and they are demanding a high school we need to listen they've been graduating 8th graders for the last 20 years and they really need to have a high school we need an opportunity for them to continue their growth to continue their studies I'm sure they'll continue the quality that they've been delivering I think that Barca High School would have been the perfect fit for me and I only wish that they had that when I was I was going into high school after eighth grade with the high school and the need to expand on our physical presence we had the opportunity to buy both Lots next to our building you need land to put up a magnificent edifice I'm proud to say I was part of that purchase and was such an honor to continue to invest in Barca what's great about the project is that it's new and Innovative but yet just like Barca it's preserving the intimacy and they're still able to achieve everything that they were always able to but yet they have this amazing new space to do that the campus will feature an expansion of the elementary school that will contain a Batman thrash a gym science rooms stem Labs everything that we need to match our academic Excellence the Barca family is growing we invited 30 new families this year which includes 70 new students we need better for our students we need better for our families and it's a necessity the new building is designed in a way that the classrooms open up into a Commons area the classrooms are new and bright but yet there's these breakout collaborative areas where the kids are able to have one-on-one and it's just really exciting for it to finally be coming to life the most exciting thing that we're looking forward to in this new building is and which will facilitate the boys and girls being able to pray to Hashem in a beautiful setting the new high school facility is going to be state of the art it'll be a state-of-the-art stem room Labs a student lounge an art room a music room a drama room and everything that's needed to make sure that our high school students get the best possible High School experience we have been working on every angle from the recruiting side to the marketing side to the financial side working with the government as well as working on the educational side to make sure what we produce will continue to be the best child in our community barkai truly has a first class educational program it's about time it has a first class facility our backyard graduates are known to be leaders in the community in every institution and every organization that they touch so we ask you to partner with us not only building the barakai campus and the Barca high school but building the Future Leaders of our community we invite everyone to enjoy this growth with us and please support us financially I know our family is going to help and I sure hope that everybody in the community can help this great school an investment in our children is the investment in our community's future join us as we build this amazing barkai campus your community school come see what we're about Once you walk in you won't be able to walk away so I invite everyone come partner with us you have two choices you can watch History or you can be part of History [Music]
