The Real Toameha with Rabbi Daniel Coren - A Woman's obligation in Kiddush on Shabbos

Good shabas to the incredible space. This week we started a new series of kadusha shabas. These are classes that are based on my dear friend of who put together the most incredible on the topics of shabas of shabas and also inspiration and each day we send out a video. We're going to have a link so anyone could join and each at the end of each week we're going to summarize and give a little bit of going into Shabba. So this week the topic was a woman's kdesh. Can a woman make kadesh for a husband? Can a husband be mighty a woman? And essentially the conclusion was is that women have the same exact obligation as men and in fact maybe even more of an obligation Friday night. How can they have more of an obligation? And the answer is very simple. When a man dins Friday night according to the kdes through the heavens Friday night a woman may be at home. She's still helping to set up the table and make sure that everything is amazing for Friday night. She didn't have so she has the husband already only has and therefore how is it that a woman's how is it possible that a man is going to be a woman her obligation is his obligation is so we explained that according to some in order to take care of that problem either the wife but that's not always a possibility it doesn't always have the time and she's not obligated to den what she could do is she could say an amazing Good chabas the gabas is a form of mitzvah of kdesh and therefore shabbat shalom gabas takes care of the risa level and ma that's where the husband's able to be mighty to the wife so besides the fact that it's always good to greet each other with a good chabas here the good chabas has a special power Friday night enjoy shabas appreciate the and we once It's actually mentioned already that on Shabas there were people that was careful not to say anything and if they were going to say like I heard from of people from our generation that were the tinas what that meant was not they didn't speak but they would make sure that whatever they're speaking is and it's shabas. So that's not such a simple thing to do. But certainly when we're about to speak on Shabas about things that are not kadusha, let's remember how powerful Shabas is. The Benishai says when you learn on Shabas, it's a thousand times more powerful than the learning during the week. So take advantage.
