Hello one and all. What is going on? Ari from Blue. Welcome to another one of our vlogs. It's been a minute. We are headed to Lakewood to a Terrace on my loser. We have a rocking band tonight. Eight piece band with Yacov Rosenblum and the night is going to be fire and Hashem. [music] Thank you for holding on. Thank you to those that have subscribed. Okay, now that being said, our channel producer, Dave, who's in the car with me right now on the way. Say hi, Dave. How we doing? All right. Dave thought it would be a good idea if we played a little game. >> [music] >> So, Dave thought that while I'm driving to the gig and while Yacov Rosenblum is driving to the gig, he gave us five questions [music] and he wants us both to answer them and think about them on the spot while we're driving and to see if our answers are similar, different, or wildly [music] different, hopefully entertaining for the likes of you guys. So, let's see how it goes. >> [music] >> What do I think about on the way to the gig that has nothing to do with music? [music] I'm assuming you're talking about the 5% of my life and my thoughts that don't have to do with music. What do you think about on your way to a gig that has nothing to do with music? Definitely family. [music] Whatever is not involved in Whatever is not business related, you know, as far as my time and my efforts is going to be family related. Such a great question. Um I think about food a lot. I like food. What I'm going to eat. What the schmorgasbord is going to be like, what the situation is, you know? I try to guess. The schmorg layout. If there's tacos, I'm like super excited. Big foodie. Yeah, it's pretty much it. I don't really think about anything else. Honestly, I think about music. That's what I think about. So, it's like very hard to not [music] think about anything else. So, what do I notice as soon as I walk in that tells me what [music] kind of wedding it's going to be? So, I'll tell you straight up. >> What's something at a wedding that you [music] notice right away that is going to tell you what kind of night it's going to be? If I walk to the stage and as I'm already walking to the stage, the minute I walk to the stage, >> [music] >> there's a bunch of little kids that are already flocking to the stage, that means it's going to be a party that night. I mean, there's music fans. That means uh they've got a whole bunch of questions. It [music] means they're following us. They know what we're current with. They know what's current. And we're going to have a really good time. That's [music] so easy. It's the crowd. The crowd is the difference maker. The crowd is like when I say it's like probably the most important thing, it's it's I think it's probably the most important thing. What's a song that I secretly love performing but would never admit [music] on stage? What's a song that you secretly love performing but would never [music] admit on stage? I love when the band covers uh yum yum in our workplace. >> [laughter] >> I'm a child. What can I say? I guess if my kids listen to it long enough, it uh it sinks into it sinks into my brain and to my mind. It's just so much fun >> [music] >> because when you play something that just gets such a wild immediate reaction out of everybody that's listening, [music] you're just connecting like a very direct real way. So, I guess let's put it there. Thank you Hashem kids stuff. I feel like a lot of the Thank You Hashem stuff, it's like you know, low-key kind of catchy. Fishy swishy swishy swish. Swish swish like a fish. Probably Becher show. But like with a Becher show, you know what I'm saying? Like not like But it's because I'm not Hasidic, so like I don't want to like, you know, I don't want people to be like, "Oh, what I want to be wants to be like Shulem Green." Yeah, a little [music] bit. A little bit. What part of the wedding has the most pressure for you [music] personally? >> What part of the wedding is the most pressuring for you personally? Say it with me, chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Chuppah. Why is that? Because there's so [music] much work and preparation that goes into that one moment. And it's quiet and it's it's probably the moment of the entire night [music] that the uh that the music takes the most center stage. As important as the dancing is, the chuppah [music] is that moment and it's decorum and we're setting the tone and it's silent and the music has to be just so and the song has to be just so and the sound has to be right. So, it's it's it's all eyes it's all eyes on the music when it comes to chuppah. You know what? I I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I think I don't have one. I think I would say the most pressuring part is before. Getting, you know, getting your mind to a good place. There's so many distractions, dealing with so many things and in your personal life and then you have to walk into the hall and perform and to be, you know, hertzeg and to get the chosson kallah to a good place for the chuppah and, you know, bring energy by dancing. So, I think I think for me it's the hardest part is getting into the right mindset. Okay, when you have a crowd at a wedding or at [music] a simcha, that's amazing. What usually made it that way? If a wedding crowd is amazing, what usually made it that way? Hello, officer. That is an excellent [music] excellent question. Sometimes you have a wedding that like every There's a story or I don't see an older chosson or some sort of story or some sort of siyata d'Shmaya with the shidduch and everybody knows about it. Everybody [music] connects to that wedding. Sometimes you have a wedding that everybody's that that everybody that's there is not there because they're supposed to be [music] or they have to be. But then you have a wedding where everybody is there because they want to be there and they've been waiting for this girl to get married or waiting for this guy to [music] get married. And there's like there's an extra fire. There's extra fire to the wedding and those are those are gorgeous. Those are palpable. You can feel that. If a wedding crowd is amazing, it's because the [music] friends. The friends. The friends. Guys, the energy comes from you guys. [music] The young energy, the young guys, the young girls that get in there and are excited to be there with their friends and they're so excited [music] for their friend that's getting married and they bring the energy and they come at the beginning of the wedding and they're there and [music] they're singing and they're dancing and they're bringing the energy and they're and then they come afterwards and they're there till the end [music] they stay till the end and they more one more song. That Oh, wow, this guy's from Australia behind me. That is what brings the energy. That's what makes the crowd amazing. And if you guys keep doing that, it's going to be a lot of fun weddings. I've been hearing some troubling rumors about oh, they're not, you know, Blue Melody isn't posting enough and they're out they must be off their game or whatever. And like I am a little disappointed cuz I got my hair done like just for the vlogs and I feel like we haven't really been taking advantage full advantage of that. I heard some crazier hawk actually. >> Whoa. I heard that nobody in Freilach actually plays their own instruments. I heard Nachman Dryer is just an incredible actor. That's what I heard. I heard Tzvi Blumenfeld, they just picked that guy up off the street and said, "Stand at this piano." >> [laughter] >> Crazy, right? >> The point though, the point that I was trying >> I'm kidding. They're incredibly talented. I'm joking. A lot of very talented musicians in that band. I don't know if you know, but Blue Melody has [music] a YouTube channel. Of course I know. It's the biggest YouTube It's the biggest YouTube channel. It's the biggest YouTube channel on YouTube. Of course [music] I know about it. You know about Mr. Beast? You know about Mr. Beast? Yeah, what about it? Yeah, so it goes Mr. Beast, then Blue Melody, then Mr. Beast again. He has like 10 channels, so. How many subscribers behind him are we? About three. We're we're three 300 million subscribers here. I thought we were talking in hundreds of millions. It's close. It's close. We'll get there any day. >> [music] >> That was actually said. I don't want to say we set Kallah v'Chassan like on fire, but we came pretty close. We rocked pretty hard. It was It was unbelievable. The band was insane. Singer was more than acceptable.
