Uziel [music] reacts, he doesn't keep
track
when he hears a brand new song. Oy oy
oy. Uziel reacts and makes an impact
when he hears a brand new song.
>> Hey guys, today we're reacting to
another song, another music video
requested for the song Yishtabach Shemo
Melech by Avi Illson. Now, I don't
really listen to a lot of songs by Avi
Illson and I know the famous ones that
went viral, obviously. I haven't done a
reaction for his songs but I definitely
have done reviews which you can check
out on YouTube shorts. But here is our
first reaction with Avi Illson as per
request. A reminder that every Sunday we
do our reactions, every Tuesday we have
our live streams and every Motzei
Shabbos we have our Premius podcast and
other projects coming up both in music
and in videos coming up very, very soon
and I'm very, very excited about that.
So, with that in mind, let's get to it.

>> Why am I keep thinking that this is so
similar to Yishtabach Shemo both in the
arrangements and obviously with the word
Yishtabach, but
but if I'm I'm honest,
I think Avi Illson sounds better than
Shwekey in that song.
>> [music]
>> Oh, here we are. Film buddies.

>> By the way, shout out to before. I
didn't mention it, but that guy There
was a guy that's in a lot of the Bardock
videos, and he's also been acting in
Yossi Zweig's video films recently.
Shout out to him.
Not sure his name, but recognize him.

>> Yeah, there you go. There he is.

>> Nice.
Cool.
Very, very cool. There she say go, cool.
Uh yeah, you know
what's interesting about this song is
that the song itself is very ordinary,
but the thing that makes it really good
for me and why I really love this song
is because of Avi Ilson. I feel like if
any other song would have sang it
I meant to say if any other singer would
have sang this song, the outcome of the
song would have been ordinary, another
generic dance song with with a another
Israeli concept. But I think Avi Ilson
really upgraded it with his voice. If I
was going to give this
a 10 out of 10, I'm not saying I'm
giving it a 10 out of 10, but if I were
to give it a 10 out of 10, seven of
those points would be just because of
Avi Ilson. He upgraded the song so high
for me and I really love that. The idea
that you take a song and it's elevated
by the singer
and the singer is showing what he can do
and what he could do with his art and
how he could elevate his art is so
amazing. So, this song is only great
because of Avi Ilson and that's why I
like this song. If it wasn't Avi Ilson,
I don't know what my opinion would be.
This is why I like this song really,
really well. And when it comes to the
arrangements, it really does remind me
of Yishtabach Shmo from Yaakov Shwekey
with both the instruments and with the
with the general concept of the song.
And again, the reason why it's elevated
so well is because of Avi Ilson. So, Avi
Ilson, very good job. I really liked it.
All right, guys. Thank you so much for
watching this reaction. Comment below if
there's other songs you want me to react
to both in songs, music videos, or if
there's a longer form of content in
Jewish music, whether it's concerts or
interviews that you want me to look at
in our live streams, please comment that
below. If there's anything else not in
music you want me to react to in the
Jewish film world, comment below and I
will tackle that on the other channel.
Thank you so much for watching and stay
tuned for all the content that comes out
almost every other day. I think that is
it for today. Have a good day.
