[Music] Hello everyone and welcome back to Inside Art Scroll where the books you read and the people who write them come to life. Today we are joined by a very special guest Ravitzuk Gman about whom a biography living legend has just been written. Thank you Rav Gman for joining us from Erit Israel from your home in Mdalo Amech. It's a pleasure and an honor to speak to you. Thank you for everything. You know our scroll is is is is one from the biggest kesh Hashem to brought Torah for am. Thank you for everything. Well, thank you for giving us the honor of being the publishing house to release this fantastic book. If I may say so myself, it's one of the most inspiring biographies that I've ever read and I'm sure readers who are getting their hands on the book now will feel the same. Many people have heard snippets of your life story. But before we get into specific questions that I'd love to ask you, give us a little background going back almost 50 years when you first got to Mikdal. Some people may know the details, but for those who don't, tell us a little about how a sixth generation your Shia the son of Rabis Gman ended up in Mdalamech building an empire of Tyra and Kir. What happened? I've been born like you mentioned sixth generation in Israel in Maya. My father was one from the greatest ginium from Jerusalem. And in the six day war in 1967 before the war everybody is afraid that Israel is going to be finished because the all Arab nations attacked in one time Israel Egypt Surya Lebanon Yan everybody that has a passport left Israel. I can explain the phat the f God makes a miracle in six day. We succeed Egypt, we succeed yard and Syria Lebanon. The most important we take back the old Jerusalem in couple weeks later shab the army 10:00 in the morning open up the gate jaffo gate to the cotel to give you a a feeling thousands of thousands of thousands of people waiting by the gate in 10:00 everybody's running don't know which the hotel rev left right go I've been between these people that rhinic to the cott what can I tell you the feeling is I I hope the mashia will come will have the same feeling because I grew up hearing in home only the cotton my mother used to go every day before divor and after divore by the way after 67 30 years my mama My my mother every single morning go to the cot every 30 more from 30 years winter cold she's going to stay by the cotton say the old timing but in home I the cot in area I stay by the cot I say to myself what can I give back a gift a thankful for god for this miracle 10 days before everybody thinks finish and here you by the cotton. I say to myself, what is the most important for taking care of his kids? Okay. Nothing is there. Especially Mdala in this time was the worst place in Israel. Crime in drug every day in the paper. A soldier that live in Mdal is ashamed to say that he lives here. If you ask him where you live, he lives near Afoola. I decided I will take one hill and I will go to Mcdal to volunteer myself to work with the youngsters. Their background was because where I live in Maya Shahim between Maya Sharim and the old city you have a a village called Musara from Moroccan people very very hard place you know the black panthers they come from there and since I've been 16 years old I used to go and and speak to the boys and invited them to my home I have a feeling for this faradim I have a feeling Because then I decided I was very close not closed I was a for the rabbi and I say this is my idea. I want to have permission from the reb says go it will be success. I was I was in this time 22. I was just married and I come to my wife and I say I want to go to Mikdalik and she says go and see and if you like I will come after you. I come to Mikdalik. I was naive you know every I come from Shim that every building is a caller. I come there I ask who is the yeshiva they look at me but who can I find the youngsters to say the disco? I never hear disco in my life and mayor shim you don't hear disco. I think maybe it's a new new system for the yeshiva called disco. I go to the disco yes I come in I see p in the middle of the day the night dancing girls boy is papa right but when I come in they became a shock comes in they they don't know what happened and they think maybe I look for a minion for kadesh I don't know what I say to them I come here I want to live with you they can't believe everybody body dreams to go to your you come from your yes of course you're my brother you my brother I want to meet with you and I used to go every night to the disco I have my m my con and they used to come and ask questions and feelings and tell that like a magnet this is something for the heaven now when Rabbi Gman when when you got married and you sat with your rabbitson and she asked you what you wanted to do with your life. What did you tell her at that point? Because she obviously when she married you, she didn't think she was moving to Mdal. Because I when I've been married from my father all of us he make the this time a problem because the old was still the the the great from a great after the great they left one time was a and my father stay up and say you put So much work in for the children from Alf till the 8th grade what what will be later we need to do something okay they decided we're going to build mifas my father was in in America together they stay they come back and they built meas just when I were married I met my wife I the plan was that I go to be a in this m and this is what happened a year before the war I started to be a mag this is the plan to be a mag in in learning and give shim never thinking this is a mdalamic did you ever feel bad over the years that you never got to live your dream of becoming a magir never never because thank god in this let me come to Mikdal today may have more for 22,000 graduate from mcdalo and the all two 20,000 have many mags and if not mcdalo we will not need the mag then migdalo bill that you need to have mag the most amazing part I think of your takeover so to speak of mdala is that your biggest antagonists the people who should have been most against you ended up coming around to your side. I know that there's a story about when you first moved to Magdalamech, you sold your apartment in your Shaalim to get funds. Could you talk about that for a moment? This story is very very a hard story to tell. But because the book says this, I will tell us. When I come to Mikdalah, I tell you then I became they used to call me the disco rabbi. They're making a Israel television in 1970. Make a movie an hour. The old Israel speaks but the headline was the disco rabbi and through them I start became very involved with the old guys. They they was involved in crime in this and started to work in jails. But one day I go in in the street in Mdalmic in B from the corn I see beautiful cows. You know Mdalamic is a poor place to have cows like America. What happened here? I asked what happened here? They say the Arabs people because Mikdalik is only 10 kilometers from Nazareth. in Aran Mcdalmic. many Arabs villages and these guys the boys there the young fell they working very very hard they don't go to the army they make money and they have beautiful cars and they come here to take the girls from here for money when I hear this I became a shock you know you come from a holy home never thinking I say I ask who make the all who because I see that is organized This is not only cars they organize they go they coming they tell me somebody his name was Pinas he organized he was the like el cap from this place I decided to to go this pedas el capony I go to him home you know I say I think the book is written like and till today I remember there was a Romano couple dancers old couple from Romania speak. And I go upstairs to this alapon pin and I hear that the man downstairs at his wife the go gate to the goland. The rabb is going to the gazland. Okay. I come in. I knock in the door. He opened up the door. What you looking? I say what I looking? I want to drink mulim. You look at me all crazy. I don't know what to do. Can Can I go in drink madim? Can you okay come in I sit and I say to them I come that you're doing this you know what you're doing you know what you're doing you take girls Jewish girls and kill the whole life of them he says this is my business you look for business you have many factories tomorrow I go to a factory I will make you a job I will work in a factory if somebody tell me what to do I knock him off the ad right way. Okay. I tell him, "What is your dream? Let's see. You don't want to work in in a in a in in factories. Give me your dream." Says, "If if I will have a talk for myself, I can stay up every hour that I want and this talk I will move from place to place. I can make a living." This what I like. But I I I think myself as the biggest mitzvah I go back in and I don't tell my father I I have apartment that my father and my how you say in English the my wife's father is they bought they brought me a apartment in Kana Khana near the near the yeshiva from Chubin the end I I tell I sell the m my my apartment to somebody's sab in in from the breast and I take the money and I come I come with the money in in somebody I buy I buy uh what they call a truck false wagon and then I come to this pin and I tell him pin has I have here here is the key. You have a truck but palmir that finished the whole thing what happened till right now it can't believe I can't believe this is true I mean maybe it's a dream but it take and he started to clean up till today 50 years the Arabs have afraid to go in and make it he killed them he m put in every book and and this this that he became my friends my right aunt This helped me to have a what you call the power of the old guy. It was like Alapun. You had you had le you had leverage. You had leverage now, right? And how did your father and your father-in-law and your wife feel about the fact that you were taking this precious apartment in your jalim and then you were selling it to get money to pacify some criminal Adam Mcdalik. The story is almost hard to believe. Of course my father was in the beginning he cannot understand what I do but but I I I explain him that that in in this money I save so much girls from God done and everything but in later later it it thanks me the whole life why I do this. The truth is that the proof is in the pudding. We see that what you did was successful and as you said once you were able to bring that alapone onto your side you were able to attract other people. Now when you started visiting discos to be macar of the youth it was a very unconventional thing people hadn't done it before. Were there detractors who told you Rabbi Gman we don't do that type of thing. Did you have people telling you that what you were doing was somewhat off color? Of course, of course. The false thing my friends for mayor they can't they can't believe they can't believe what happened because I used to brought them from time to time the old guys to and they they see me around did sadikim they can't believe what happened here but later little by little they see the success because what happened later uh uh somebody from the guys tell me My brother is in jail. I say your brother is my brother. Let's go visit in jail. I come to the jail shat. I go in 400 prisoners. Moshe, Jacob, I became broken. I go to the head from the jail and I say to them, I want to come here twice a week to learning with the prisoners pilot. I don't ask for money. I give I I want to give what we call voluntary. He says okay we started a program from learning med prison in Hebrew they call this shake shikum that rehabilitation through that to religious right away this moment that I speak to you this moment may have in the old prison more from thousand prisoners right now in the old prisons have yeshivas sitting and learning through the years may have from Balub and this this this brought me to be involved also in the jails. later after four years working in the jails in the discourse I understand that if somebody will take these guys the in crime he will take them in the right time when they're 10 11 and give them love and give them education they can be the best boys they can tell everything I tell every time this story that I make a khan party in jail the falseh I left the jail. I give a kiss spontane from the prisoners. Three days later, I receive a passcard card from post. It says a letter. Rabbi, I've been the prison that you give him a kiss. I want you know this is the fourth time in my life that I receive a kiss from somebody. When I hear this and see the letter, a man that is in the age 40, never receive a kiss. I say, "Help me. I want to build a home for these girls and boys that never receive love and education and save them and start to go to find them in jail and rehabilitation and start to go to the parks in the discourse to find them there. Let's take him at the right time. And in 1972, the start of Mikdal with 18 boys in Hashem today may have more than 20 thou 22,000 graduates today walk in Mikdalo 900 people 80% from them grew up in Mikdal. So you start visiting Mdalamech regularly and then you decide to take a big step and you open up educational institutions. When did that take place and how did that develop? After four years that I walk in these streets and the in the jails in this, I understand that the most important to save this old idea from these boys and girls is not to wait when they go to the jail or the disco or they going to crime to drugs. Look for him when he's in the age 10 11 because these guys these kids never receive love in education. In 1972 we started Mikdal education the the with 18 boys and from the 18 boys grew up next year was 30 and then later and later and like I tell you today we have thousands of kids we have tens of thousand graduates in 80% that walk today in mid alone we have 900 people walking 80% sent grew up in Mdalora. I just wanted to mention that in in the book it's mentioned and it's widely publicized that today you have Kino 15 schools with something like 6,000 students 900 staff members can know we're talking about Mameish planting in a midbar 50 years ago to today what's an a virtual empire of Tyra and Kiru Hashem I want to tell you a story a little story one from the boyers from these 18 boyers his name is Yoshi Gigi he comes from Tavaria very broken home very far very very after two months this boy come to me and says love I I leave I can't stay here learning it's not for me I come home I see what happened in home I want to be left I give him money and I say you have 15 minutes from this place Mdallo till the bus station to Taria. Take the money to go. But thinking in this 15 moments you you going to decide what will be with you and your wife and children and grandchildren this world next world everything in 50 minutes. After an hour he comes back he says I think what you say to me. He gives him back the money. I be I became so so excited by him that is is is Ahmed Gab. I go in in the in the big in the what you call the in the school and I I I make a song right away. Oh, boy. This boy Yosi is today in Miko 150. He is at a big town for him makes for him and is very famous in a a year ago he make a bar mitzvah of his grandchild. I come to the bar mitzvah and I see there around 150 people his his kids. He has 10 kids brothers, sisters, all everybody. Everybody here what if I miss say yes I tell I started in 1972 was a boy I don't say his name that he want to leave I have I tell him you have 15 minutes to thinking what will be with you with your wife and children and everything after them he comes back and when I finish I say you know is the boy raigi here I say rase look these 150 people will not be exist if you live then into the barrier with this that you come by yourself miss gel you come back look in yourself you can inform look what you what you what you built in this kak that misg yourself you once told your father that when you look at these boys out of mdalik we're talking about decades ago all you see are namas right that's all you saw you saw their souls you saw the panemas and if I may say so and I don't think it's a secret that that's the recipe for your because all you see on the shamus and the question I'd like to ask you is how does a person acquire that ability to only see I tell you if you you say every day in the morning I thank you God that you created me for you honor. What means for you honor? You honor I tell every time a story I will make it shortly myesious that sometime was a father in America and has a son in America and two sons in Israel and he's going to marry off his son from America. the two sons in Israel. One is is rich lives in lives in Kisaria and one is a poor in Mdalik. He sent a letter to his rich son in Kisaria. You know your brother is going to be married next month in Bald of Atoria. Please come you and your wife and your kids everybody to the wedding. Take also your brother from Mdalah with his kids. And the father put in one in the letter. Everything what you will spend for mine honor I will pay you back. Oh this guy the Israeli the father will pay back. He takes his wife to Tel Aviv to a boutique in Denov center brought the nice clothing for himself the nice suit the nice ad the kids but the kids in M for his brother in Mdal he don't buy not clothing nothing only tell him I have a ticket and this and this day we fly to America okay day is coming and allow the two brothers the family going of the plane they Come New York in New York in Canada airport is waiting the father the leuton the force go out from the plane this boy from Kisaria beautiful his wife that father says to his old look my kids look my grandchild after them come out the pool for mdala the clothing is is not to believe he became a shape what can he do okay take him to the tin avenue let's in Brooklyn brought them the clothing and finish. After the wedding, the this son from Kisaya goes also to father. Father, you know how much cost me the whole boutique and the whole thing I spent. I wait for your check. The father says to him, you're a big boy. You can bulk and you will make you know how much overdraft I take for the all spent. You will take care of yourself. Father, you palm me. I promise you I have the letter. Show me the letter. Take the letter and let's set them. Let's read together. Everything what you will pay for mine honor. I will give you back. If you will think of mine honor, you will do for your brother's wife and children. The same thing what you're doing for your wife and children. The nice clothing you spend your money for. You honor. I never promise you that I will give you back for you for mine. If you say God says okay let's see if you walk in only for yourself you've been a big okay but if you doing also you brought the old people they have not a chance to do this this is the showing that you're doing for the in the two years in Balto tell us that Every Jew is the every is pure. The problem is the body the nephies. But if you come to him, you give him a feeling that you love him, you believe in him, you need only to you know one time I left my home Friday. I go down to the mikvah. I go to the mik two two streets from my home. I see somebody with a kova temple you know that I had from the kibuts. I never see him in mdala. I go over I tell him shalom shalom. I see that you a guest here you living. He says I kibbut next to mcdalik. I say to him, you are you come to EAT? He says his volunteer is from Canada, a Jew from Canada, Montreal, and he comes to to walk in the kibuts. I tell him, you have a relative in Israel, a brother, sister, somebody says no. I said to them, I come that you say no. You have a brother here. Don't know that you have a brother. He looks the mirror. What you I've been your brother. I live here. come. I take him in my home in my and I make the table a coug in in in cake and then he said to me where you going? I say go to the mikvah. What is mikvah? Explain shabas is coming before shabas. He said to me can I go meet you also to the mikvah please? I he comes to the mikv I will never forget in my life we dancing in the water that means his far his face is like is not to I see I became very close to him then he started to eat in the kabuts only vegetarian finished eating dant le from a year is is disappeared I don't see After six years, I was by the hotel and I see somebody goes with the wife. She has a in with a kit in the agala and he sees me. I look who is this man? This man but he end up he left the kibuts go to in Jerusalem became Everything happened one vote you said you have a brother every Jew want to be good depend in ask how you speak to them how you give him the feeling if he feels that you love them then you can connect them and brought them back. Speaking about connecting to the youth, your focus has been for decades on being marim, people outside of the Tyra community, but we're seeing today and for I would say for the last decade or two that there's a significant number of youth within the Kedi community who we might call them disenfranchised or we might call them struggling. Over here in America, some people call them kids at risk. Some people call them kids in pain. But whatever the case may be, we have children and teenagers in our Mah who are struggling with the Yiddeskite, struggling with their connection to the what advice do you have in bringing those youth closer to their heritage? not only advised me doing seven years ago come to me raon from say the same word that you say you say you woke with the children all over Israel but what will be with the kids so they call us in Israel they call them no people that left the yeshivas in going down the say to me come one night to the the what you in English you say square cat square come to the cat's square in Jerusalem in Benuda street and you will see what happened I come there I find not to believe may maybe tomorrow boy and also girls for the best religious all they left they dare the mish go done the same thing in the same thing in I decided we need to do something God gives me I find a place near Bish called Ayala after Bish a beautiful place under what you call Dunam. This place was used years ago by the black panther. They have a power in the in this time 20 years ago maybe more and they receive a 100 dunam to make a place to rehabilitation from drugs. They build their caravans but the end themselves take drugs. The government close the place in this place is empty for 20 years. I take over the place put in big big money. I go back to be the disco rabi like 40 years ago to take up my suit sit with the boys in Benuda buy a pizza a cigar drinking beer speaking day and night in them we take 60 boys and I say to them you will come you will build you village you will build I find a builder not religious bod He has a heart is ready to walk with his kids and they build a beautiful place called Zoharim Zarim aftersh a a beautiful place for the youths from these kids no from the religious homes they build the the the [Music] with everything is from boot the the the do the beds the boy says this bed I build this myself right now may have their 110 boy we have seven years that finish boy you're not asking Israel today is a model what happened there in Zarim from these boys they have their they have their learning what you call echoc culture they have their many many ideas they have their kabatusim what you call kabatusim Horse riding. Huh? Horse riding for the for the horses. You know place for the horses that they they walking the learning regular and the learning. No, but we have a special system have 110 boyers in the step is 70 people 70 people old system. I you guys not right now to explain you and this is the model. The last year I decided to do the same thing for the girls. Geralts is called Zo. We're taking a place in Mdala. Right now they have about 70 girls also from the best home. They left today. Today that I speak to you. I was in the school from these girls in Mdala. They give them masses. You see girls from the best homes. They have earrings here. They have bearings here and here and they have different but little by little you see the chance you need many patience and patience impatience it's all story to explain what happened what we try to do but it's not enough we have so much in Israel and we have so much in America and in every place there's a big mafe a big mafe what we need to do but right now we have every day uh I tell you 110 boys and 70 girls but have many many to do. So what should a yid an individual walking down the street and he or she sees what the RV called mim who don't have a connection what what should we do as what could we do to bring them closer speak to them speak I will tell you a story not to believe what was have so much this but this happened this week today yamishi this week I was in in Tel a going to Tel a Viv. I go to the sixth road. You know in Israel you have the six road between the Safon in Tel Aviv. You know the going to the road big road six road. They have a big restaurant the middle the place and I stop there for min for min. I I have not a chance to pray min before in the time the comes. No, you go out in the six what you wrote everybody is is going people mostly not and I look for minion then I find a group from boyers I see this boy come from these guys you know they was religious you have a feeling you want to pray min come to pray min yeah of course of course man see me television become a middle this wall in the next to the restaurant and may praying min. Okay. I speak to them. I give him in and I in I take maybe 10 15 minutes spent. What is your name? I feel you. I go in my car. It's a true story from this week. My car my driver is running and he says to me that these guys is after my car till Tel a Viv. They going after me. till Tel Aiv and when you stop in the in the what you call in the no razone you know Ram when you when you stop in a traffic light they come next to you and I sit you next to the and they they looking meal they make me and I kiss them and they kiss me and then go after me after meal till I come to Tel Aiv I need to be they say we want to come to you we want to speak to you we need this is the feeling they broken inside if you see a boy like them speak to them invited them for Shabbat don't give a m right away why you don't learning the sh why you doing this you no you good you the best can I can I help you can can I have the honor that you come to me to visit me can I being connected. You will see what happened. You know, init. It's no secret that there's a tremendous divide between the religious community and the non-religious community. And many people view you as a very unique personality because you somehow bridge the gap. People look at you as a unifier. What could we do to bridge the gap? We know that you have this language that people understand this universal language of aava real. What could we do when we see that the really have a tremendous hatred for the community and what does the rv answer when the non-religious community attacks the community with all types of accusations about not going to the army about other issues? What's the answer to this tremendous conundrum? It's very very hard. I put in many many hours to work in this issue. And this is the reason that many times I go of the television. My reason is I want that the people to see a religious man like me with a building payers to work. I give you example right now have a program. This program is 17 years before pes before they call. What means you make packages in the sentence to pull people all over Israel. The next year, last year we have 20,000 packages in today is the who make the packages today because Colona usually we make the packages in in a place that people coming but Colona you have not they don't give you permission to come together you brought the food but who we will make is the packages the alme the alme they have a base in the army I can send you pictures and movies that you see every day 150 army they making the packages and the people that I received to volunteer brought the packages to the homes and this was yesterday in television in the papers next year will be my all reason is to show that the religious man is is is doing also but of course they have big questions Let's say in the corona corona they ask why you don't go the mask I have not the answer what is the problem to go in the mask what is the problem I don't know answer some some time I have not answer okay the army I I I give him example the army I say you see in my schools if I see a boy that he can be a big in learning okay learning boys don't learning is going to the army you can't have answer I walk my army I don't know if you know the story from the 70 paratroops in the second Lebanon war but the you ask a big question and the big problem especially the last right now is the election the whole election is around this issue Liberman Liberman day and night let's kill the let's put in the khadim in in in in the in the in the in the in the garbage And then it's the same thing the left guys a big problem. I try what I can but it's not so easy right now is a big problem. I guess it is an issue that's goes beyond the purview of this interview like you said it's a very very it's it's it comes down it's an existential issue that comes down to the identity of the country and uh you know I I don't know if the RV has any advice for what we could do. I guess we could all try when we go there to beim to be to be nice to be right 100%. This is the way show show dma is I will give you example what I do one time many years ago was a strike from the doctors in Israel because they don't receive enough money in the making a hunger strike hunger not strike hunger that the old doctors they say they will don't eat and don't drink it became a big issue in Israel in the Raban Rashid the the Israel Raban from you know from Israel they they gave a a letter that you can do this also all Rabonian deductors can do this to the fast because neish I know that they have a they have a convention in this middle strike they come together in one place in Rambam hospital in Ky I go to them. Nobody invited me. I come in middle I say I want to speak to you please. You doctors we need you but we understand your problem. We understand that you're making this strike because to explain the old people you problem that you don't receive some I I have idea for you. I will come with rabbis. The rabbis will make a hunger strike and you will walk because if the rabbis if the rabbis will make a hunger strike not not some it will not will not be neesh but the you first thing is a ne they make a vote mostly vote no they don't they speak I I hear that Shabbat this Shabbat immediately they strike they come together in the hospital of all the all doctors the families I tell I say my wife I go to be Shabbat med doctors I come Friday Friday Friday in the afternoon and I brought boxes from what you call grape juice and they see me coming what I come to be with you. Shabbat you strike. I also want to be there and I start at Kab Shabas. Don't to believe then we make kesish in little by little Shabas night after Shabbat the headline in television Rabbi Gman for Mikdal strike together me the doctor Shabbat. I receive a telephone call from very big rabbi from Adasa hospital in Jerusalem. Rabbi Gman, I come that you're doing something like this against I say please Rabbi in two days the strike will be finished. If you want to hear my advice, go right away to the doctor. Show him that you care for him. Then later if you need the help, they will say when I in problem you look for me. when you in problem I will help you since then till today I can take a telephone and call the biggest professor a middle of the night to stay up to help me because he never forget that I has a problem I come to him and I and they never everybody forget you need to use every time to make a keshm that's a tremendous tremendous lesson to to be there for for others So that later on if there's a circumstance where we need them, they'll always remember. Exactly. Which is a tremendous lesson. Now one of your one of the opportunities that you had to make a big hashbah in America was and it's mentioned very prominently in the book was when you spoke at Madison Square Garden. Tell our viewers a little about why uh Av from Israel ended up in Madison Square Garden. What what was what was the what surrounded that event and why you did what you did at the halftime by leading everyone in in the recital of Shma? I will tell you I years ago was a game between Israel and Russia. They call this the game that the Russia game from from sport is chko I think something like this. It was big issue in Israel. In Israel win it the game made one point. Then the old Israel is dancing. Yes. Shalom. Yes. Shim is a god. I sit in my home. I never know of a game. I have not a television. I have not. And the guys that I used to be the rabbi like this rabbi. They knock in the door. Rabbi, rabbi. I open up the door. They take me and dancing. Yes. Shalom. Yes. Shalom. I think Mashia is coming. What I I find out that Israel game says who was the man that win the game is his name is one from the players from Makabi Tel Aviv very famous Tal. I decided after this happened if they so excited with this man I will make a big party for the old guys in Israel. the the youngsters and tell them that this player what he went Israel game with Russia he will come he will be my guest till then I became very close to him he was the head from from Makabi Tel Aiv one time I come to him then when you know this and I say I have idea in America you have so much Israeli never connected you know they lost kite more from the and you know they don't come to the synagogue mostly from them they any connection with the killes in any place let's make a big game between Makabi Tel a Viv New York Knicks never be a game I tell him my idea do this and you will see it work very hard connected and we make the game in the office mdalor in America they send the ticket and we buy sell the tickets and then 20,000 people mostly Israelis was there in the middle the middle the game they have a break time middle the game f time they say yeah they say to the old people sit don't move ever surprise and they come I come in in the middle of the game with a microphone and say guys you Jewish people remember let's sing [Music] together you can idea whatever 20,000 people in in miracle square they're dancing the whole place you know the the players from New York Knicks. They thinking I be Mashiach. They can't believe what happened. Later I invited the players from America to Mikdal. We make a big game here together with the old youngsters in the old Galilee. I this is the same thing I use the time and the the idea to block people. Usually if you come to Israelis, let's come to Medic Square Garden for Adob take the blessings with the clothing from Asov. Oite is looking as inside is Yakov taking the blessing. I sometime I need to put in clothing from to take the blessing from Yakov. Now in the book there are many amazing encounters that the RV had with Gdro. But there's one interesting story that I personally found fascinating and that was a comment that Kryworth the great go made to you. If you could talk about that for a second. The prime who can explain the prime Christ with his heart is feeling for amo in when in in in when he comes to meal and he sees what happened he cried he can't believe in later after them one day I was in Jerusalem it was a big a big is in all the rabbis I don't remember something what happened there and I I I stay very far between the regular people. I don't have the stage because only the old big rebels raon him. I stay the side. I was a younger man claw and I see Kazield goes down left the old stage go everybody looks and he comes to me and they say to me I want from you something. He take me side and say I want that you will give me somebody in my family is sick. I want that you give me a blessing. I say what you go I nothing I laughing I say for me you make laughing I will give you a brother. He says the Gmorra says if you would take kids from the garbage and you brish God says you you you pay your mind is like my mind he says to me you true you're right I've been a big from you but I don't spoke me with these kids and boyers I don't go to the to these places you going in your power God says that you mine you pay is like a prayer from God I want a blessing from you I want to end by first of all giving credit where credit is due to Rabbi Nakman Seltzer one of the worldclass writers of the from world who did a magnificent job putting your life story into this book but I want I ask two questions regarding the book. Number one, why at this point in your life did you feel comfortable enough having your story written as a biography? As you know, many people wait a biography is written. It's usually not written during the lifetime of a person. That's number one. And number two, this is the first biography ever written about you. And it's being written in English, not in Hebrew. So number one, why right now do you feel comfortable having a biography written and why in English as opposed to Hebrew? I tell you the truth. My life I live with believe that everything is and I see miracles to see I see agoris I say to Rabbi Zela the next book I want to have forgot I can make a book I see God's every moment why I tell you I receive a telephone call from somebody the name is Israel Katel he's a writer and for many many years. I remember I was a little boy and somebody they sent them next to my father I don't remember who is the man and he tell my father a story it tell my father a story that will come at before Mashia will come will be a big let's say a fight between America and Russia in in in China will be involved this year when I was a child let's say seven till then I I everything when happened something between America and Russia in China I've been interesting to know because this says that he hears from a rabbi very man that this will be the sign before Mashia will come very close today I hear in the news in Israel that baiten the president from America says that Putin is our he's a killer and Putin became very very say in Israel in in the Middle East also ch I see what happened that this man tell the story of a child is come to come true is closed what we need to do use the time right now Everybody to remember that will be and if you will this is the best ticket the first ticket to come in to receive Mashiach when you give your life you give your time and you walk to Amen.
