Well, I know that I was naked when my mama gave me birth. And someday I'll be naked when I'm buried in this earth. The God who gives me everything is the very same as the one who takes it all away. So blessed be God's name. There once was a man in the land of oots who went by the name of Job. He had more wealth than any person on the east side of the globe. Thousands of camels, cows, and sheep. So he lived a life with his three daughters, seven sons, and his beautiful wife. He was a wholesome person, honest his whole lifelong. He was a true God-fearing man who never did one wrong. He would bring a weekly offering for each of his 10 kids, just to atone for any sin his children may have did. But one day, his servant came to Job with news, and it was bad. He said, "Bandits just attacked us. They stole every cow you had. I'm the only one who got away. All the rest fell by the sword." But before he finished speaking, another man burst through the door. He said, "I was tending to your flock when a crazy fire came. And all your 7,000 sheep, they just went up in flames. I survived, but every other shepherd was consumed. But before he finished speaking, another man burst through the room. He said, "Soldiers of Babylon showed up out of the blue and they had us surrounded. There was nothing we could do. They stole all your camels. I barely escaped alive. But before he finished speaking, one last messenger arrived. He said, "Job, I just came from the home of your eldest son. You kids were all there eating, drinking, and having fun. When a whirlwind went from the desert blue, and it came through so fast that only I got out alive before the house collapsed. When Job heard all this news, he stood up, tore his shirt, threw himself down on the ground, face first in the dirt. He ripped out almost all the hair from a top his head, but then he regained his composure. And this is what he said. Well, I know that I was naked when my mama gave me birth. And someday I'll be naked when I'm buried in this earth. The God who gave me all these things is the very same as the God who took them all away. So, blessed be God's name.
