Shomrim
4,332 views
I composed this song while driving from Jerusalem to Ramat Bet Shemesh this past week, while thinking about my love for Hashem. The words are "Shomrim hafked l'ircha, kol hayom v'chol halayla" - "Place guards over your city, all day and all night." Hashem is the one who protects our Jerusalem, and our entire country. We thank those who represent him, the IDF, and we acknowledge that God is ultimately the one who is behind it all.

You know, we're living in a time that's
really
it's kind of hard to tell what's going
to be in the future. Kind of things are
going on in the world.
And one thing we know is that Hashem is
the one who's protecting us. Doesn't
matter what president of the United
States says, doesn't matter what the
Arab world says or Europe.
It just matters what Hashem says because
he's the one who's the he's the one who
appoints the the guards to watch the
city. And we don't have to worry about
Jerusalem. We don't have to worry about
Israel. We have to dive and we have to
pray that everything should be all
right. But u as long as we put our faith
in Hashem, we have to know that it's
going to be okay.
