do to me let's explore explore a little bit more here we said that there's a general principle that I need to recognize that every single thing that happens in my life is from God and there's a blessing to say for something good that happens in my life there's a blessing to say when something negative happens in my life if heaven forbid someone passes away that's close to one of the seven relatives so the person says DS which means they the true judge we recognize we praise God for the good and we praise God for the less good says an amazing statement which certainly is for someone on a very high level but whether it's good news or bad news to receive it with joy which is very interesting because it means that there's a certain recognition what is Joy when a person when does a person experience Joy there's different contexts but a person feels Joy when they feel like things are the way it's supposed to be person feels Joy when they marry off their kid things are the way it's supposed to be feel Joy when you finish a of came to a moment of completion of moment a significant point in your life R is telling us there's a if a person has the right mindset even in a negative situation it's possible to be happy and recognize that this is how it's supposed to be this is how hasm wants my life to look says what's the source for this before our says y I will praise Hashem Y and I will praise which means both the attributes of his divine mercy and the attributes of his Divine Justice whether the way that hasem interacts with us is in a way that's clear kindness or whether it's could call Hidden kindness seems negative to us either way we recognize that it's from Hashem this is a fundamental aspect of be maybe more accurately am which is that everything that happens in my life everything that happens to am Isel everything somehow we won't we don't know we won't know until perhaps Messiah comes and we'll see in hindsight but everything is for our good everything is ultimately part of hashem's plan and I would say it's important to know that if you look back through your life you can certainly notice many points in your life which you thought were negative I can certainly notice many points in my life which I thought were negative but in hindsight I recognized that it was very good for me says this is what King David says in front of God same idea that either way if you interact with me says King David with compassion I will praise you right that's that's the Sim that's the the kind of joy that we're talking about that R was talking about I will praise you I will rejoice in your mercy and if and if you're interacting with me in a way which is challenging I also will rejoice and I will praise you okay I will sing Hal means singing circumvent the will of hem because why obviously Hashem can do anything right but Hashem gives human beings Free Will free choice so a human being it could be his now it could be a human being is much more dangerous than a snake and a scorpion we find that there's a general principle that everything is is in the hands of Heaven except for the individual's fear of heaven but he points out so then we're we're stuck in a a huge problem because a human being then if I'm faced with another human being who wants to cause me damage I have no protection how could it be that I have no way of protecting myself spiritually you find many times that God Saves a human being from another human being while in can the matter here is like this that this is the this is the foundation okay this is the idea this is important to understand and of course I want to I want to point out that we speak about different levels of different aspects of we talk about where a person might be even a Russ we actually talk about that over here in the next piece um a person even can be Wicked trust in God and it still works even though he's done what's wrong hasem still has to you know the the person's sins are not forgiven just because they have right just because you trust in hem and it works doesn't mean that the person who has sins doesn't have to be doesn't have to be given accounting for that but there's also an aspect which was we're about to read that a person should have and can have a deeper level of if a person also has a proper relationship with Hashem and he says like this if a person does not have any sins that they've done which they are obligated to receive a punishment for if a person is clean if a person doesn't have any a person who has done chuva it's possible it's possible to be someone who has done chuva and doesn't have any of on their ledger so then hem certainly will save that person in such a case even though the the person who's coming against me wants to attack me and wants to keep attacking me and over and over again like October 7th so even though that person is a ER they have a choice will not allow if a person is clean if a person is innocent if a person has done Chua if a person hasn't sinned so hasem will not allow the enemy of that person to cause him damage but if a person because of his actions has done something wrong and therefore is obligated to receive some kind of punishment butm is holding off punishing that person expects him or wants him to do Chua he wants him to repent so the truth is that that person will not have any way to be protected why because his sins will so to speak stand up and and and that person will be vulnerable we'll say it that way the person will be vulnerable so ru suspected other words why did Ru take him out and bring him to to the the area of the bore the pit instead of to have him face off with his brothers because Ruben suspected that perhaps y didn't have enough merits he wasn't righteous enough to to have the protection that he would need against his brothers but to have the protection against the Sak scorpions excuse me that he that ruine did assume that y would have so this is an ideal and certainly thinking about this as we come into the as we come into the days of judgment the the end of the year right we're coming in we're in the middle of el now smack in the middle of L and we are together so if a person has the proper merits and we've gotten ourselves together and we're serving hem properly or to the best of our ability and doing Tru when we've done wrong so then there's a different level of protection even from the choices of human beings so a human being can make a choice but I'm still going to have protection because I'm right with Hashem right so we said that the fact that says that I praise whether it's the name of which is or whether it's mid whether it's God's compassion the way he's manifesting with me whether it's his Divine Justice I will praise it either way I'll praise God either way so because without saying that I need to praise Hashem when God does kindness for me right that's ABCs but this that tells us that he's praising hm even when there's judgment the result of praising Hashem for his judgment which means I admit that I've done wrong that I deserve punishment and perhaps you can say and I'm doing Chua and repenting acknowledging recognizing showing regret and remorse and resolving not to do it anymore so now I don't have to be afraid anymore this through this process through the recognition of God's judgment through taking it to heartart so now I have a double armor I have a double armor protecting me not only from natural occurrences that could affect me negatively heav forbid but even from human beings who could affect me negatively I also have the armor if I if I have it's very interesting if I have that Hashem is going to give me a good judgment why again because I'm trying my best to do what's right and I'm trying to be in sync and aligned with God's Will and where I've made mistakes I'm trying to be better then I have the double protection however if I just have the and that's protecting me in such a case it's much harder to to be protected from other human beings so what he means when he says praise the matter I will praise the fact that Hashem has brought difficult situations upon me I've been punished like we saw before we saw last week if I've gotten punished so the net result is that I'm clean I'm clean I've already paid my dues so to speak I'm not afraid of any human beings then I've got the protection so there's different ways of getting the protection either this this deeper level of protection either because I've done chuva and changed my ways or I've been punished already I've already experienced difficulties so this is an incredible good thing that comes out to experiencing difficulties and challenges this is certainly something very great he says something amazing when Hashem brings a punishment on me it's different than when a human being brings a punishment on me when it comes from Hashem so it can always Hashem is Hashem loves me Hashem is my father hasem when he punishes me like a father he wants to do it in a way that's not going to be so intense and so difficult me H but if I get punished through it human being's choice so then there's there can be incredible cruelty just look back to October 7th finally it brings here it's very precious to God if a human being places his trust in God so now we're going to have other side of it we talked about in the how I need to get on God's good side so to speak if I want to have the extra protection but here he's going to say another aspect of it and we know we to understand of course as we've said so many times that is a spectrum and I can be in different places along the Spectrum it's important to know that I canot be talking wherever I am even a wicked person we are not Wicked people we are Ben and we're middle of the road people but anyone canot be talk ofm but obviously the highest level is the is the level of the the Unique Individuals who have and they're in right relationship with hem so he says here like this the say a little bit of a different aspect than the let's say a person doesn't have so many MIT let's say you know he doesn't have he's not doing he's not uh he's not the most spiritual individual he says differently he says the very fact that I have inm's kindness I have within my heart faith in God that's enough that I won't fall in the hands of a human being says chter 40:5 praiseworthy is the person who places his trust in Hashem can he says that if I place my full trust in God in his kindness even though I don't have anything else so Hashem has to so to speak his attribute hasem pays back a person measure for measure the person is placing his trust in hem and not in a human being will pay him back that he won't fall in the hands of a human being I say I don't want to be dependent on another human being for my welfare for my success for my protection I only want to be dependent on you Hashem I know I don't deserve it but I want to be dependent on you so hasem measure for measure has to say look you don't want to you don't want to be dependent on human being you're also not going to fall into the hands of the punishment of a human being person doesn't get by having be talking it doesn't free a person of of his uh of the accounting he needs to do for the things that he's done wrong he will get punished and he may even get very difficult punishments King David shows this when he said and we say it every day in he said I would prefer to fall into the hands of God if I'm going to receive some kind of payment for my sins some kind of difficult situation isem is compassion as we saw previously in has has compassion hasem loves me I don't want to fall into the hands of a human being this is what King David means when he says I trusted in God I know I know myself I know so well that I trusted in God and that being the case I'm not afraid of what a human being will do to me in the Merit of my alone that's going to be enough for me not to be given over by hm into the hands of my enemies I trusted in you I put my hands I put my life in your hands God God does not allow allow me to fall into the hands of a human being who I
