thing a powerful thing we think that we're in a when we enter into a state of fear that that's undesirable when we are in a situation which engenders fear we don't want that we're not interested in that but the tells us that when we are in such a situation we have a tremendous Advantage because when I'm afraid it's an opportunity for me to turn to Hashem because what happens is I realize that I'm not able to do it I'm not able to accomplish this by myself I'm afraid so in that situation I turn and I trust to you oh blessed one because of the fact that I recognize and I realize and I have a I would say an intimate understanding or an intimate feeling an emotion of inability that itself is a for me it's a merit for me when I think I can handle things on my own so Hashem says K do it yourself you could do it yourself you think you could do yourself let's see let's see what you can do the moment that I let go of my own my my feeling my sense I'm able to do it and that is indeed what a dangerous situation engenders it gives me an opportunity to give up my sense of self my sense of the ability to to be able to do things by myself that's what awakens his Divine Providence comes with Miracles and wonders when when I step out of Nature and if I think that I can accomplish things by myself in a natural way so Hashem says go ahead but the moment that I realize that I can't Hashem steps in with his miracles and his wonders says the on the day that I fear I will trust you when I feel in my heart a fear so then I will trust in you a broken heart Hashem doesn't turn away when I feel broken when I feel the inability when I feel down in the dumps and I turn to hem with that feeling hem can't turn it away when a person's heart is broken when a person feels that they can't do it that's the heart that Hashem listens to his prayers that's the kind of prayer that hasem wants to hear from us that's the kind of prayer that's successful says the all Yakov says the there are spiritual forces of raid against the Jewish people but really we are the representatives of Hashem in the world so if there a raid against us those spiritual forces are arrayed against God it's possible that you could have spiritual forces that are fighting as it were with God right if Iran has certain uh abilities in war orah has certain abilities in war so parallel to that there are spiritual abilities maybe it's because of the prayers Islam prays they pray five times a day we only PR pray three times a day we only pray five times a day on yum Kipper so maybe they have spiritual powers that would seem to Aid them that would seem to help them in their war against am Israel but I'm not afraid of that well any and I'm not afraid of the Heavenly hosts I know that who represents me in heaven who represents the people of Israel in heaven who is the angel of Israel as it were it's God himself and God is higher than all of these spiritual forces that's why King David says on a day when I'm afraid what do I have to be afraid of what what possible way do I have to look at things who has power over me today tomorrow any day I don't have to look at them I don't have to look at the spiritual powers that they might have because I know that I'm connected straight in yarel like we've been saying over the last few weeks straight into Hashem I'm connected straight into God and God rises above all of the spiritual forces that anyone else may have on their side God is on my side and if God is on my side that means that I have the master of the universe the creator of the world the one who resides on high and encompasses all of the spiritual forces and has power over all of those forces that power is on my side I have nothing to worry about so says the mayor to Elis powerful and I try to use my limited human strength against them i t to do my isas I put in my efforts I have no power they know and I know that I have no power against the spiritual forces that might form a united front against me but in that day of fear I will trust in you Hashem you foolish people you enemies of Israel you enemies of King David enemies of the great king of the Jewish people you think that I'm supposed to be afraid of the constellations of even spiritual forces F I'm not afraid of Ma I'm not afraid of the way that perhaps I was born into the the way that things ought to be because of my particular spiritual or emotional or intellectual capacities I'm not afraid of all of that it's because I trust in hm and I know the natural way of being whether it's a physical way of being or whether it's a spiritual way of being which exists we can't deny it every person has a mule talk about a person's mule their the the the way of being or the spirit ual forces that surround a person there's a natural way of being that's true there is a natural way of being and there are certain things that seems that a person has bad luck sometimes an individual feels that about themselves you see another person that has bad luck so to speak but says I don't buy any of that I'm not afraid of that because my in you my faith in you my trust in you my confidence in you rises above above all of the Natural Things That Go on rises above all the luck that seems to be the way that things roll in this world I'm not afraid of that says the iitz this is an important Point okay we're studying together lots of people talk about lots of people talk about it's a very popular subject today and it's good that it's a popular subject it's so important it's essential you can't live without you can't live without but the says it's important to know and beware of this for ourselves there are many people who are who show themselves to be and they say I trust in hem I believe in God I know he's going to help me but when push comes to shove in the moment of in that moment of truth what do they do what do we do these individuals that he's speaking about who put on a show perhaps perhaps they fool themselves perhaps they're trying to fool others around them doesn't really matter where do they turn it to in the moment of of Truth they turn to Natural means they try to accomplish they try to get out of the situation in a natural way their first knee-jerk is not to turn to God I'm any King King David says he gives us the example of the way that we should be he says Foundation you want to know how to walk in a scary place where you could fall and you know that could be the end of your life you want to know how to walk there you can't look down got to keep your eyes on the goal can't be afraid you got to walk just like you're walking on on the the edge of the sidewalk no different you can't allow yourself to to think about the precipitous fall it's the same afraid I'm not afraid because I know that even his judgment I praise I know that when negative things happen in my life that's also God and that's also good know it's good I've made this decision in my soul my heart of hearts if God wants me to fall out of this ship God wants me to fall out of this little boat and drown and die that's God's will that's also good once I'm okay with not just okay with I'm good with I believe that that's my the the greatest good for me is the thing that I I fear it's much easier to trust a person who's willing to endure difficulties has much greater chance a much greater ability to trust in God and the the result is because I recognize that even something negative is from Hashem and it's for my good the result is that I'm able to trust in Hashem in a day of fear and paradoxically the thing that I fear won't happen my my ban is so strong hashm doesn't need to give me a dangerous situation hasm doesn't need to give me some negative interaction some negative kind of situation for me to experience it's not necessary cuz the whole point is just to get close to God that's what we're after that's what we talking is that's what we're after so with
