Students today are opting out instead of pushing through

We're losing students at an alarming rate. And I don't mean to sound like a total alarmist that things are are out of control, but whereas in the past, somehow there was a certain resiliency that people picked themselves up and whatever struggles they dealt with, they kept moving on, often people are opting out. And if we can teach them the skills, give them literally the toolbox to face that challenge and not just throw it all away, then we've done a tremendous amount both for their emotional health, but their religious health as well.
