Our Rabbis and Community Members Speak About the Importance of Amudim

I don't know if there is a greater sadaka out there today because amudim is Saving Lives you're saving with saving one Jewish Soul you are saving the entire world out there in the trenches day and night saving lives this is from the utmost importance in the world of sadaka everybody has to deep dig into their pockets and give to amudim because amudim is out there for us we don't know how to do this work we we are not out there they are out there they're doing it lord they're the one that when a tragedy hits our own home a crisis it's our own home and we pick up the phone and we call amudim you have to know that that costs money amudim is spending millions of dollars a year on our crisis and we need them much more than they need us and we have to make sure that they have the financial backing to continue what they're doing but is that Hashem we hope one day that amudi will be out of business the day will come but because of and because of the awareness that they're causing out there in the world that we won't need I'm within one day but until that happens ladies and gentlemen dig deep into your pockets and give generously to ahmuda Israel Sephardic division is a organization that is going to help our students in hsl make sure that they have the things that they need in order to be able to live healthy and a balanced life of course we have in all our institutions uh people within the institution that help that guide that give advice to those that are in the in the issuevot and all around editor style but takes it to the next level make sure that if if someone needs extra help extra attention when our youth needs someone to turn to we want to make sure that they have someone to turn to that understands their background where they're coming from that's going to guide them in their proper path according to the Torah and that's what ahmudim provides for our youth and they're doing a fantastic job Hashem should continue to bless them we should support the organization and always make sure that we attend to the needs of our youth of our community support of our communities rabbis and lay leaders both in America and Israel and with him Israel has recently launched its Sephardic division the division is here to cater to the needs of all syrians living in Israel be it families Yeshiva Boys Seminary girls or lone soldiers with services including subsidized therapy government benefits visa and Travel Assistance and overall mental health intervention for too long our communities in yeshivas here in Israel had nowhere to turn for professional mental health assistance be it with addictions abuse or overall mental health struggles we now have a professional agency which can provide that support and we've already started with workshops with yeshivas the revaim and we have so much more to come with the help of our clinical case managers your loved ones can receive the professional help that they need please support our initiative so that we can continue to ensure the stability and health of your future Generations thank you as a resident of Jerusalem for many decades and the rabbi the synagogue here Syrian schul here in our neighborhood over the years I've had first-hand experiences watching organization known as amuddin provide help for many many different types of people all of all ages perhaps their primary assistance is in the mental health area to help people of all ages you know mental health basically is very often life and death situations and when they help children teenagers and even older people in that field in that realm I guess just about nothing more important I can't emphasize enough the importance to support such an organization um is well known you know they made a name for themselves they established the reputation they do good work I know I've met the staff I've been at their office more recently uh congregate that was a very prominent congregate with My Soul name is Rafi has joined their staff and he as well as doing good work for our community and good work for a colleague those who donate those who support is I will tell you just one word about our good friends at amudim led by my good friend speak luck they're doing a great job difficult job they're involved in the difficult cases that nobody probably want to touch but they're very critical helping regarding uh kids that are involved in drugs and God forbid abuse and other things like that that are so complicated and rough cases that like I said nobody would want to touch but they're doing it they're doing it responsibly and I know they're helping a lot of people and well worth our support they have my blessings good luck they are all different when I was first approached she got involved with hamudim I understood the help that ramudin provided pretty much for anyone I was in awe how they have an organization that helps people in the most important and dire situations yet it's scary these aren't cases of sidaka which is important people needing a job just as important helping hand with the elderly or having someone physically sick or ill this organization helps people in the most deep meaningful and in many situations life-saving way the Syrian community in Israel is an extension of the community in New York we are in a new in a unique position where we as families living in Israel have the opportunity and obligation to set up the resources to help ourselves in these situations but just as important have those recent resources available to help all those who wish to learn here study here serve here or just try out living here the services offers are a necessity and they were able to expand on their offering specifically to fit our needs means pillar in Hebrew there's a bridge that connects the Syrian safaric communities in the U.S and Israel amodim is one of those strong pillars that enables this bridge to work please help us keep the community Strong by supporting amudim and help them continue to be able to help us and our communities as a whole different types of Hassan that a person can do there's giving a person a nice word a smile there's writing a check to a person in need is giving advice there's being with the person in the time of their simha on the time of their need and then there are types of hasid that are so hard to do there are people who have needs there are for most people are impossible to actually help them but we must help people even when it seems impossible well we have amuddin for those cases that for most people they will look and say I'm raising my arms there's nothing that I could do comes an organization like ahmudim and says we can do it we can take that case as difficult as it might be we're gonna make it happen we have the people we have all of what it takes to make that person healthy again and all we need to do is partner up with them is write them a check so that we too can be part of this extraordinary facet that for most of us is impossible to do but now we have a part of it is foreign government good morning everyone just a few words about the wonderful organization called amudim which in the last few years has shown itself to be exceptional unbelievable we have a lot of great organizations I'm Israel but this is one of the most extraordinary ones any crisis any situation any problem that we need God forbid a tragedy or just to get through the red tape of traveling during the covid all the cases that need help they were there for us therefore I'm Israel and they're professional they do it with love they do with care something that's so important for us so with when they're there for us we have to be there for them as well and we hope is that the same only good things come from this organization amen our community is a beautiful place to be a part of many of us Hashem had the dream to have the dream to make aliata Israel and some of us were able to do so it's very clear that the community cannot be replaced no matter where you live I'm William Sephardic division is a place where syrians who moved to Israel could come and receive support in any category from wanting to get there helping to get their family into Israel making aliata Israel themselves or God forbid verbal substance or physical abuse we are a family no matter where we live and we're reaching out for support to help those who live in Israel that might need a helping hand said home and what better place to be is to send it to your family who lives in antakodesh please look into your pockets and to
