Moshe Rabbeinu says: "I cannot carry this alone."
In Parshas Beha'aloscha, even Moshe Rabbeinu says: "I cannot carry this alone." Hashem doesn't tell him to be stronger. He brings in help. What a beautiful lesson on what real strength can look like. Sometimes it's saying the thing out loud: This is too heavy. I need help. You were never meant to carry it alone. If you're holding something heavy right now - reach out. Amudim is here. Wishing you a wonderful Shabbos.

He's too tough to break down.
Something we've all said about someone
or even ourselves.
There's a moment in this week's parsha
that stopped me completely the first
time I really read it.
>> [music]
>> Not one of the miracles, not the
menorah,
not the cloud in the desert.
It's the moment Moshe Rabbeinu breaks
[music] down. The greatest leader in the
history of Klal Yisrael turns to Hashem
and says words that I want [music] every
single person watching this to hear.
Why have you placed this burden of the
entire nation upon me?
Did I [music] give birth to them? I
cannot carry this entire people alone.
It is too heavy for me.
I cannot carry this alone. It is too
heavy for me. [music]
Moshe Rabbeinu said that out loud to
Hashem.
Now, what does Hashem do? He [music]
doesn't rebuke him. He doesn't tell him
to be stronger.
He immediately says, "Gather the 70
elders.
I will share the burden with them.
You will never [music] have to carry
this alone."
In 2018, Kevin Love, one of the best
basketball players in the world,
collapsed [music] on the court in the
middle of an NBA game in front of 20,000
people. [music] Not physically. He had a
full-on panic attack. He ran to the
locker room and couldn't breathe. And
then he did something [music]
that nobody expected from a professional
athlete.
He wrote about it publicly. And he said,
"I didn't think it was okay for one man
to ask for help. I thought I had to
carry everything alone.
I thought that was what strength looked
like."
He then said something I haven't been
able to forget. [music] He said,
"Everyone is going through something
that we can't see.
Everyone is going through something that
we can't see." That is the message of
the parsha. Moshe couldn't see what the
people were carrying. Others couldn't
see what Moshe was carrying until Moshe
said it out loud.
And Kevin Love's teammates had no idea
what he was going through until he wrote
those words.
If Moshe Rabbeinu can look at Hashem and
say, "This is too heavy for me. I cannot
carry this alone."
then so can you.
Don't be ashamed.
This is turning the [music] wheel
because the road to healing isn't
straight. But no one should have to
travel it alone.
Wishing you a wonderful [music] Shabbos.
