dearest and I know some of you most of you I don't know but those who know me or of me I've been trying for the majority of my adult life to give to you to encourage you to be courageous to be brave to encourage you to speak up and to speak against the crimes that were committed against you including a relativ of mine and I know that each one of you suffers every day of your life it doesn't go away and because of that I want to apologize if in some way I've contributed to some pain that you have felt and that you're feeling because of a letter that I wrote some years ago in all honesty I was not completely informed I should have been but I was not completely informed about the extent the nature even the nature of that individual's crime that I wrote um to the judge as a personal letter to the judge in which I did not condone his behavior even the behavior that I knew of at the time but nevertheless looking back I regret writing that letter because I wouldn't want any of you to for a second to feel more pain but to feel that I personally am not with you therefore I want to apologize and I want to tell you that I'm more committed than ever to help in any way that I can and I sh as should give you the strength to to be healed and and to be able to continue to have the courage to speak out and if something KH someone has hurt you in any way to be to have the confidence and the strength and to feel the support of people like myself and others in the community that were here for you and I will continue to be there for you in any way that I can should help each and every one of you and we shouldn't laugh see it this in our children and our grandchildren
