Have you ever looked like you were
finally in the light, but inside you
were still carrying darkness?
That's what this week's para mikanica
can teach us. Last week, Yoseph was in a
pit. This week, he's the top of Egypt.
From prison to power, from silence to
authority. It looks like a miracle. But
here's what we forget. Even when Yoseph
rises, he still carries the pain of
betrayal. The trauma of being sold, the
memories that don't [music] disappear
just because life looks better. And then
his brothers enter. Yseph doesn't rush
to forgive. He doesn't pretend it never
happened. He [music] pauses. He watches.
He looks for change. Because healing
isn't denial. Healing is [music] safety.
That reminds me of something an Amud
client shared with me. We'll call her
Sarah. She survived years of abuse.
Outwardly, [music] she looked fine,
successful, put together, always with a
smile on her face. But inside, Sarah was
still living in the dark. One day,
someone asked her a simple question. Are
you okay? No pressure, [music] no
fixing, no judgment, just presence. That
moment didn't heal everything, but it
lit something [music] inside of her.
From there, she reached out to get help.
She learned boundaries. She learned that
her voice mattered. And today, Sarah
helps other survivors find their way out
of the pit because somebody [music] once
saw her light, even when it was barely
flickering. That's Kaneka. The miracle
wasn't that the oil burned [music] for 8
days. The miracle was that someone lit
it even when it looked like it wouldn't
be enough. Just like Sarah, just like
Yoseph, so many people who carry quiet
pain but refuse to give up. As AJ
Goodman had said, [music] we don't deal
with our trauma to erase our past. We
heal to reclaim our future.
Last week during our campaign, we had a
dream. We didn't hit it. But the dream
didn't die. Because healing is not
measured in dollars alone. It's measured
in showing up in asking, "Are you
[music] okay?" in refusing to leave
people in the dark. The message we learn
is even a small flame matters. That
setbacks [music] don't erase purpose.
and that when we protect the light
together, it grows.
This is turning the wheel because the
road to healing isn't straight, but no
one should have to [music] drive it
alone. Thank you and have a good chabas.
