Courageous Sisters' Story: Fighting for Justice #shorts

Tonight, when we watch this trailer, I want us all to remember a few things. Remember the courage of these three sisters. Remember the many survivors who are still finding their voice. Remember, justice can come in many ways, and not for everybody is it the same, but it's still a long and difficult process. And remember that every single one of us here has a role to play in creating safer communities. COMMUNITIES WHERE VICTIMS ARE TO BE BELIEVED, where abuse is confronted, where protecting children matter more than protecting reputations. Silence protects abusers, but courage protects the vulnerable. And sometimes courage changes more than just one life. It changes the lives of people that you will never meet. Somewhere tonight, there is someone who is going to find the strength because these three sisters refused to give up. And tonight, we're going to have the privilege to hear from one of those heroes.
