There was drone footage that was
released from Gaza.
Okay.
And I saw a debate with uh another one
on Pierce Morgan, Andrew, and Dave
Smith.
Dave got much more irritated in this one
because I think when Dave loses the
debate on substance, he just appeals to
emotion and fetchiness. It was kind of
obvious, which was
unusual for Dave, but [snorts] I think
it was revealed that you're losing when
you just start to interrupt. Don't let
someone finish the sentence and start to
fetch and complain. happened with the
Natasha Heddorf as well.
But like here's the thing. I think deep
down everyone knows like
there's a huge difference of confusing
tragedy and atrocity that's been going
on over the last 3 years.
And I feel like in the attempts to smear
Israel and paint it as this genocidal
state, like they often show this kind of
drone footage of destroyed buildings and
infrastructure. [snorts]
They show the aftermath of an air
strike, something like that. What you
can never see, what you'll they never
what what never gets shown
is footage comparable to October 7th or
footage
that displays things like the Drews
being massacred in Syria, thrown off of
rooftops, shot in the legs, bricks being
it's footage from comparable to what you
see in Gaza, uh from what Kamas is doing
to so-called collaborators,
[snorts] you know, smashing their feet
with bricks, shooting them in the head
in the street in front of
in front of a mob of people or, you
know, footage of the Boss family,
the twins, uh, the the Boss babies and
Shar Bos being returned in coffins as
everyone's standing around all in some
sort of ceremony. You can't find that on
the other side.
Instead, you find drone footage and you
find the aftermath without any context
of air strikes, of military operations.
This isn't just arbitrary aesthetics
there. The these are moral differences
between the sides. I'm sorry. They are.
I'm not downplaying the severity of the
destruction that takes place during war,
but it's a very different thing. And
it's so easily manipulatable.
You could show destruction
of a series of buildings and
infrastructure, but what does that tell
you?
Does it tell you anything specific other
than, okay, that looks severe. It looks
serious. It looks tragic. But what if I
told you the tragedy
is the extent to which not Israel
destroyed
Gaza
or large swaths of it. The tragedy is to
the extent to which Gaza became
militarized
by a terrorist organization for years
and years and years that built a tunnel
network underneath that outfitted all
these buildings for military purposes.
All these people who want to on
Israel, they start the story in the
middle.
They say these were hospitals, these
were schools, these were mosques.
Yeah, they were
until they became militarized
as bases of operation to store weapons,
to fire rockets from.
By the time Israel attacked them, they
were not those things.
Now I get it. You can make the argument
of proportionality
of what's a proportionate response,
what's justified, but you have to at
least accept the fact that uh it's a
difficult situation when you're being
threatened and attacked and rockets are
landing on you from a specific area and
you're making efforts, concerted efforts
to target a specific area. Who's
responsible
when uh civilian infrastructure gets
converted into a military uh location
where you're operating out of? What's
what are the choices? Israel has to
simply sit back and take attacks and
accept attacks on it on its citizens.
They're not factoring in first of all
rockets that land back on their uh
civilian infrastructure which happened
many many times if you actually talk to
people on the ground and research this.
But at the same time, if you just start
the story in the middle and say that
because this place was a school or a
hospital or mosque,
you ignore all the context that leads up
to Israel having to be having to
retaliate,
necessitating a response to retaliate.
It It's kind of nuts. If you walked into
a bar and you saw someone getting
pummeled, you might think, "Oh my god,
what's that guy doing? He's the
aggressor beating up some guy in a bar."
If you re rewind reind the scenario and
found out that the other guy was
attacking the guy first
or was threatening to kill him and then
hid behind a a bunch of people and
continued to attack. It gives a little
bit of context. I'm not saying every
single strike is necessary. I'm not
can't defend every necessar necessary
strike Israel had done. I'm not privy
[clears throat] to the information or
the thought that goes into it. But I
know that thought goes into it. I know
that they go through an entire legal
process to approve strikes. There's all
of these things that go on. Now, why
would they do all those things? Why
would they have rules of engagement if
it they simply wanted to just destroy
Gaza indiscriminately?
If they were just genocidal, why would
they go through those things? Why would
they go through the trouble of risking
their own soldiers lives, sending them
into booby trapped buildings?
Like, you guys all think you know what
urban warfare is like and that it's just
simple that they could just snap their
fingers. I I wonder what would be okay
with these people criticizing Israel.
What would be okay? Because all they
have is complaints and finger wagging.
I mean,
you have to at least accept that this is
more complicated than simply looking at
imagery
and coming to some sort of conclusion
without any sort of context. To the
extent to which Gaz has been militarized
and used for that purposes,
you have to hold those people
accountable.
This would not have happened if kamas
did not the last 20 some odd years
completely turn Gaza into a terrorist
statelet where they operated out of.
And if all you can show is that drone
footage and nothing comparable like you
don't see Palestinians dragged through
the streets of Tel Aviv Tamasa cheering
cheering crowds spitting on their bodies
on a truck being taken in as hostages
and then foot you don't see the IDF
releasing footage of Palestinian
hostages starving digging their own
graves. There is a moral difference
between Israel and its enemies.
And if you're not sophisticated enough
and you're too intellectually lazy to
have a adult conversation about
war, what that entails,
what it takes for a military to defend
its citizens and its sovereignty. Okay,
then just look at images, look at
pictures from a distance and come to
conclusions. You know, they did the same
thing during COVID. There's plenty of
ways to manipulate imagery.
these same people who were I don't know
at least better on the co issue. I mean
they showed hospitals overrun. They
showed people coughing and dying on
ventilators and said
look at this horrible atrocity. Look at
this tragedy. Look at what's going on.
We all need to hunker down and shut down
our lives and separate.
You mean to tell me that they're capable
of exaggerating the conditions and
environment during CO and not capable of
doing the exact same thing to perpetuate
a narrative here with Israel? Come on.
You're kidding me.
Of course they can.
I think what's going to happen here is
just like the co largely the co
narrative was shown to be a hoax in that
regard the extent of its severity
[snorts] the where it was how it
originated all the stuff that came out
with Fouchy even the stuff with BLM or
BLM as an organization was shown to be
corrupt the stuff with George Floyd
where of course you see that imagery of
what what was going on with George Floyd
at the time I remember and people were
just outraged people took to the streets
came out later that there was more
information about the condition of
George Floyd that he may have actually
died from fentinyl overdose. I mean, we
can get into those details, but the
point is imagery, snapshots, out of
context, abstractions, they don't tell
you the full story. They don't tell you
reality.
A lot of deception going on. And if all
you can show is drone footage and then
you come to some sort of conclusion over
what was just or more without actually
understanding
what you're looking at and why.
I think as time goes on we're going to
see more and more of this
to have been revealed as propaganda
to perpetuate a narrative to create a
false reality and people just run with
it.
And I think people kind of deep down
know. I think they really do know
because it's easier to just point
fingers at Israel because the other
alternative is actually having to face
the reality of the threat that Israel
faces. And that's a lot scarier.
That's a lot scarier.
Do this exercise if you've come to find
out that just one of those buildings
that you see in the drone footage that
was was destroyed, one of those
buildings was used for military
purposes. The windows were carved out in
that one building.
What they would do is uh take a window,
they would outfit it so that they could
shoot RPGs, rocket propelled grenades at
soldiers in uh these heavily urbanized
uh environments.
And you don't know who's shooting the
RPG. Could be a 16-year-old,
17-year-old, could be a 30-year-old
male. If it's a 16-year-old, that would
get factored in as a child, even though
that person, that 16 or 17year-old is
shooting an RPG at a battalion.
But they take a window, they'd outfit it
and make it extra big so you could fire
rockets from it. You could fire RPGs
from it. So that's just one building.
And then it was filled with weapons
cachets and a tunnel access point where
they'd smuggle weapons and transport
hostages.
Is that building a legitimate target?
Ask yourself in this exercise, if that
building is a legitimate target and you
multiply that building, which in and of
itself in isolation is a legitimate
target, multiply it by 10, 20, 30 until
an entire block is made up of those
kinds of buildings,
then it's a matter of scale and degree.
But if they're all in isolation
individually legitimate targets, then
why isn't a block of those buildings a
legitimate target? What you're really
failing to accept
[snorts] is not the justification for
Israel doing this, but the reality that
Hamas actually did this.
That's what you're failing to accept.
I'm going to add this image to the stage
now. Check it out. You can see this. And
I think this I got this from James
Lindsay retweeted this. If you're not
following James Lindsay on Twitter, you
have to. He's been amazing at this
stuff. Check it out.
Here's some drone footage. They're
showing areas of destruction in Gaza,
but you could easily zoom out and show
the specific areas that were targeted.
So, they zoom in
and you can crop certain images and
paint this picture.
And the tweet goes on to say that uh if
you zoom in on other parts, you see that
they weren't targeted. My point being,
if you can imagine in such a scenario
where a single building is being used to
attack Israel and fire rockets at Israel
and keep hostages and store weapons, if
you can say to yourself, okay, well, I
guess that's a legitimate target,
then why are five of those buildings not
legitimate targets or 10 or 20? Now, I
understand collateral damage is a real
thing and innocent people caught in the
crossfire is a real thing. Those have to
be taken into consideration.
But every decision in war has a
costbenefit analysis. And every time
Israel doesn't take actions to properly
defend itself, it puts its own citizens
and own soldiers at risk of death
and harm.
And that's what you're asking Israel to
do. You're saying, "Well, no, you can't
destroy that building. You have to send
troops inside the building." And they
send troops inside the building. It's
totally booby trapped and they die.
That's what you're asking Israel to do.
To sacrifice its own soldiers to put its
own soldiers at risk so you and the West
can feel better about your own western
sensibilities and virtue signal the uh
and virtue signal from far far away. You
face none of the risks.
Even those who say you shouldn't have
attacked that doing doing nothing comes
is a risk. Leaving a building alone to
operate is a risk.
And then if you look at the numbers
themselves, this claim, everyone's
saying a genocide in 4K. You repeat the
lie enough.
You repeat the lie enough, people just
start saying it as if it's common sense.
Oh yeah, the genocide. Oh yeah, the
genocide.
James Lindsay says, "There is no
genocide in Gaza. And if you ever
believed there was, you fell for low IQ
slot propaganda and acted as the useful
idiots of the Red Green Alliance and
enemies of Western civilization." I
agree. Just look up the numbers for
yourselves. The ones who believe it's a
genocide, the same one who believed that
COVID was going to be the
biggest crisis known to man, that all
the COVID deaths that were exaggerated,
that you know, the people who died from
CO are people who who died with COVID,
but they factored in as COVID deaths.
The same kind of inflating is happening
here, [snorts] and people are just
regurgitating it and recycling it.
I'm not trying to make light of uh death
tolls and numbers and stuff like that,
but if you put out the death tolls and
it's like 70,000 people and Kamas has if
it's 70,000 and Hamas has anywhere
between I don't know 40 to 60 active
fighters, 40 to 60,000, excuse me,
active fighters.
Thousands of people took part in October
7th and then were aided and embedded
back in Gaza. If people were supporting
a network of uh people keeping Israeli
hostages, if those people were UN
workers,
everyday people, but were storing a
hostage in your attic, people who wore
journalist uniforms but participated in
October 7th filmed Israeli hostages
being taken or helped support
this endeavor.
It's pretty expansive.
So maybe people just don't want to
accept the reality that such evil exists
within a culture, within a population,
within the Gaza Strip. But it does. And
you can pretend it doesn't if it makes
you feel better and you can make up
smears and lies and slogans, but doesn't
change the reality.
[sighs]
So
anyway,
that's my take on that. And uh I think
with time we're going to start to see
the truth be uh revealed and this will
all be kind of uh exposed as a giant
propaganda slop that worked on a lot of
people. But you're going to start to see
it as we get some distance from it.
