would any other time uh as far as as far as squeezing a lemon because that's the way you eat it that's the way you eat a lemon you eat the lemon juice people usually don't eat lemon by themselves unless they're a little strange um I actually know that some people uh like to torture their kids and they like to give little babies lemon cu the babies make very funny faces when they uh eat lemon uhem we're not sadistic so we never did that in our house but I know other people like to do it because it's kind of funny to see you know the kid do it make the faces but with all joking aside you are allowed to you are allowed to to squeeze a lemon on Shabbat meaning uh initially without any hesitations uh okay so let's uh this the Torah is endless let's ask some questions what we have to huh got questions you guys know the entire okay so the mitvah of being fruitful and multiplying is a for men meaning that the men are obligated to be fruitful and multiply uh they're uh the man is not fulfilled her obligation as a wife no cooking no cleaning no uh nothing obviously all the other things she should do to be a good wife but if she say they have a debate if she takes care of your kids meaning she brought kids to the world and she stops you from sinning wasting seed finished she's good she perfect so of these guys that think that their wives are supposed to be servants cleaning ladies or they're supposed to be uh doing all types of things that if she's already doing those two things the says she's obviously if she does more it's even more but for that especially the men you need to understand that every single time your wife gives you a cup of coffee your wife gives you a cup of tea your wife gives you extra cavod your wife makes you feel like a king all of those things are above and beyond all of those things of course that's important for for for marriage but the important part to understand is that today if we actually understood what each person's role is in a marriage what each person's role is in the world life would be much easier so first and foremost why does thear say such a thing because the obligation of bringing children to the world is only an obligation of the man bringing children to the world world is an obligation of the husband it's not an obligation for the wife meaning if she does it she's she's she is helping him fulfill his obligation she's helping him not he's helping her by bringing her making her baby oven a lot of guys think that they're doing their wives a favor by bringing uh you know causing her to to bring kids to the world no no who are you going to hang out with all day like think they're doing our favor in reality every time she brings another child to the world she is doing you the biggest favor in the world why you're fulfilling a Mitzvah plus you're replicating yourself and her obviously and you're actually having an opportunity to continue your lineage your Torah your mitv everything that you're doing now if you're not planning on being religious better you don't have kids why because if you are making sins by yourself you're making sins by yourself it ends with you it ends with you like par it ended with par but if you're going to be uh religious it's better that you have as many kids as possible why you have a CU of machine in your house each one that does mitv goes to you to you and your wife in so the wife that sends their husbands to go uh play baseball and to go watch soccer games with the guys and to go do all the things that they're not really supposed to be doing obviously she's not going to want to replicate this because he's not really such a good husband but she's also a partner in the crime why instead of sending him to she sent him to have a beer with the guys instead of sending him to learn how to be a good husband that understands what we just said what the toora actually said about what the wife's role is and what the husband's role is she said him to go work and make more money so he doesn't know how to be a husband be skin so what do you expect a lot of these wives don't understand that sending their husbands to go t is much much more important than them learning tah like sometimes a wife says no no I want to go learn I want to go learn you babysit the kids you babysit the kids I'm going to go learn because I like to learn this is a mistake why the obligation of learning toah is on him and then when he comes home and he's a decent human being he's going to teach you toah he's going to teach you Torah so there's never a situation where you your Torah as a wife takes role over the husbands of course it's important for the wife to to go learn T she has to learn the basics but not if it's going to replace the husbands it's never this or that it always has to be the husband and if obviously all works out and he already learned for the day or something like that they have some Ty of arrangement what he's already learned it's not replacing his learning he's already done his it's a different story obviously each marriage has to know how to uh each person has to know how to play their role but again a lot of wives think that their learning is more important than their husbands so they area and he's a before so it's very very important to know that it's critical to send our husbands to and the reason why I specifically mention T and not just to go learn Tor is because if the husband is learning by himself unless he's already a unless he's already been learning for many many years and he has shim he's been next to it's important to understand the roles that we have why because if each person knows their role it's much easier to have a successful marriage but if the wife wants the husband's role and the husband wants the wife's role then we're confused and that's why we have 80% divorce rates in the secular world and even in the religious world the percentages are going higher maybe four or 5% already which is the despicable in religious standards uh for Judaism at least so when it comes to when it comes to uh uh the wife bringing children to the world is an extremely big she's doing for the for the husband and the husband is obligated to bring uh one boy and one girl one boy and one girl until they have one boy and one girl he is not allowed to not to say no no no let's not have any more kids she is cuz she's not obligated but obviously it would be if if it's a healthy marriage then both of them want to have more kids now having kids is not so such a such an easy thing simply because the husband needs to understand that he has to be conscious of her both her physical and her mental health you can't just have kids if it's going to kill the H it's going to kill the wife and having kids is not based on money you're never allowed to not have a child because of money there's no for that why because money comes from sh that's just it's just lack of every baby comes with a bank account bank account from Hashem everybody that wants to be millionaire and says no no I'm going to have another kid once I'm a millionaire they're making a very big mistake why because the next kid could be that million dollars comes from SH now on the other hand on the other hand when it comes to having children you can't just force the woman to have more and more kids because if she's sick or she's not physically well or she just had a kid literally a few months ago you have to give her body time to heal the same goes if she's not psychologically there she's not psychologically prepared to to have a child this is why it's very important to have a very serious and close relationship with your local Rabbi and that knows all the hidden details of the marriage not just some Rabbi that you watches lectures once in a while not just some Rabbi that go to his and you say hello on Friday a rabbi that knows the details of your marriage that you tell him what's going on you tell him what's happening in your life he knows why because if you have a real Rabbi that's a real Rabbi you tell him everything that's going on The Good the Bad the Ugly the everything if you have a real Rabbi then he can give you real advice but if you have a superficial Rabbi Rabbi that you go visit once a week a rabbi that you know you watch his lectures once in a while he's not gonna give you a decision you know based on you it's going to give you a general thing and any real is usually not going to refrain from giving you any real decision he's going to tell you listen you have to check with your Rabbi no into account do you have first of all do you have a boy and a girl because once you have a boy and a girl then already automatically there's more if let's say for example you already have multiple kids and the wife is just not prepared there's already more leniency in regards to if let's say she's not ready yet or you're not ready yet there's more leniency already but if there's no boy and girl there's much less leniency doesn't mean that you have to have a kid right this second if she's physically not well but there's less leniency second thing is how do you not have kids like obviously according to our T the says wasting seed is the number one sin in Juda M worst possible sin how do they determine what's the worst what's the uh what's the least because the says that you can't judge and don't judge too big too small you don't know we don't know the weight of how do we know then knows and we know based on the punishment what's the reward and Punishment according to our Torah the punishment for wasting seed is the worst possible punishment that you can get similar to the punishment of Shabbat similar to the punishment of these are the three biggest sins in Judaism there are double punishment because it's both wasting seed and it's being with a married woman so it's even more so but in essence the uh wasting seed is the worst so now since we cannot use what the go call Protection how do we not have kids the the man is not allowed to use anything that's going to stop get in the way of his seed not allowed it's forbidden to use anything that's going to get in the way of the seed so you can't use condoms or anything of such the uh it's 100% forbidden because that guarantees that guarantees there's no chance of there being a baby on the other hand there similar during that time obviously the man the man is the man and the woman is the woman what what do you do so there are two options one is that there is pills birth control pills now birth control pills are not ideal number one because they mess up with the woman's hormones that could cause a lot more damage than uh than necessary and a lot of women hate it a lot of women hate it uh especially more mature women women that are older uh it messes up the hormone system it creates a lot of damage in the body so this is terrible there is another thing that's similar to like a candle which uh it's a it's suppository that the woman puts and uh in that area of the body and this obviously is for mature people to understand uh anyone that needs to know the details I could send you a picture of what you buy uh and this is something that you can use but again none of this is allowed none of this is allowed unless there is a permission from your real Rabbi not some Rabbi that you heard a lecture
