What causes people to walk away from
religion? When people feel that their
religion has become mechanic, illogical,
meaningless, dry internally, it's hard
to sustain a bonus when you don't feel
that it's meaningful, that it provides
you with inner authenticity and inner
truth. People have a hard time feeling
emotionally well off and emotionally
balanced and psychologically firm. So
therefore, it's hard to carry the duties
of religion. Sometimes it's projection.
They take out their frustration. People
take out their frustration. They
everyone take out their frustration in
other people. Some of those people take
out their frustration. We have to be
very careful about working on emotional
well-being and emotional health prior to
religious goals and aspiration. It's
something that I learned from my rebal
that to always prioritize emotional
well-being even at the cost of
accomplishment because accomplishment
will come without emotional wellbeing
the accomplishments will all crumble.
