In paras besides the ghoul of ka the golas and the ghoul of ka we also are introduced to the idea of nva moenu um begins his nva with the snare and then proceeds onwards to become the and so on. So understanding a little bit about the snare and what it is that it's telling us it's the first nav and as such in a sense it's moshen's preparation for the for becoming a na'vi is going to be extremely instructive in telling us something about the nature of nva and so on. So we have over here Mosha is walking by. He sees a snare barb the So the first thing is the vision itself. The vision is a vision of a snare that is notal. And then we have umu says I wonder what what this is all about. How could it be? And hem saw that he turned to look. He uh uh Malah called out for him and called out and said and he said. So two phases over here. First of all the seeing of the snare and then um turning to him and and calling out to him. So the different different understandings of it. I want to speak out. I want to talk what the isba and it's something that he [snorts] it's a safer that's some kabaldic onish but a lot of sodas and so on and I I want to explain I want to explain the the points the two points that he makes. The first thing he says is that the point of astonishment of um represents a a a deeper understanding of the Bria all around. meaning that this [clears throat] is not prophecy per se as much as a background for prophecy, a framework for prophecy. It represents a person's um looking around the world around him and being able to discern that there is the divine within the world. What is that? And that is that the world is constantly disintegrating and falling apart and yet the world exists, lives and so on. This is actually fascinating because this is one of the paradoxes that scientists wrestle with. Um there's a phen there is a I don't know what to call it phenomenon in physics um a a an an understanding that there is something called entropy that is a force at work in the universe. Entropy says that energy never disappears but goes from a useful form to a non-useful form um to being something that is really um not organized, not structured, not usable. Let's take something as some simple example. You have the sea is pounding the surf. You have rocks. They will disintegrate into sand grains and the and the from the rock you get a lot of sand grains. You don't lose anything. But now you don't have a solid rock. You have a lot of sand grains all over the place. Sand grains can also decompose. Molecules can fall apart. Things fall apart. They don't really [clears throat] get constructed. So the the the process of things in the world is it goes from a builtup state to a degraded state. Energy disperses. So you don't lose the energy, but it's now in a format that it's not concentrated and it can't do any work and so on. So, so the the the the process of uh the heat that's lost from a machine doing work is radiates outwards, spreads and and therefore it can't it it's not in it's not concentrated and can't do work in one place. That's what the world is. And yet the world that we see around us is an extraordinarily constructed world. There are we we have such complex uh animals and and humans and they built cities and so on. So the world on the one hand is constantly disintegrating on the other hand it is constructed and thriving and so on. This rep this represents the divine within the world. So the world in as much as it is natural entropy runs the day and everything is falling apart but there's a constant revival and a constant desire from that things become um that things are constructed and and so on. So we have a constant cycle in in the in in the world where where where things die, all living matter dies, um inanimate things erode and yet the world keeps coming back, more are born, more is grown and so on. So that was the the the physical setting for for for him to recognize. So the snare represents this phenomenon. The world is a burning bush and yet it's never consumed. It's a world that is constantly dying and disintegrating and yet it is constantly blossoming and and and and growing at this point stepped in and told him um don't go further than this. What it means is now that you've understood the world here with your and you were able to recognize within the context of this world. Do not go further. Don't use seah and das to explore the world beyond the the the human mind is an incredible tool for exploring this world not only physically but also exploring it in terms of [snorts] um that there's a god and and and and hog all that we can discern within um we can discern with our cycle But when we're trying to understand more about the world that lies beyond our world, then becomes it it hampers. It becomes an obstruction. It's not helpful because it's a world that's not um it that's not grasped by the mind. It's like trying to eat soup with a fork. A fork can do can be amazingly good for a very tough piece of meat. And the fork, if it's sharp enough and it's able to grasp it, it's it's it does a very good job. And yet the soup just goes through it. The world to the world is not something that is equipped to grasp and therefore told him don't go further. Um he told him that the the um he he told him that that you have to take your shoes off because at this point you're now in a place where your physical um your physical glove so to speak on your nishama is going to um obstruct the way understanding you must discard it and connect with your inner ras. So the the is telling us here um two very important points in terms of approaching nav and in many ways it's it's all the first step needs to be se and das from within the physical world seeing and understanding things around and discerning in them the the the that's what we have to have. So at the the the sort of the essence of that is what Mosha saw that the world in its natural form is disintegrating and and uh and going to pat so to speak and um and there's something else that's keeping it going. That's our perception of God within the world. the force that continues to give the world existence despite the fact that physically the world should be headed towards non-existence. So we we we've identified in that setting that's as far as we can go in the physical setting. Now is going on to um and now if we want to try to understand more we need to discard that physical um the brain which is a physical um organ and we need to begin to understand without so don't get close to here take your shoes off First the shoes are the coarse physical dressing over the person himself. It means the brain in when it comes to the world of rrooki is coarse and physical. You must discard that and then you can start understanding the the um the essence
