welcome back rabbi dr elias abruat
it has now been over a week
since the battery of abraham
and many of us have heard
many has paid them
we've redisplayed them we watched us pay
them and there's been a tremendous
historious
people
are learning and feeling
that there is a tremendous aveda and
they want to fill that void the hiserus
the claudius role has had over the last
week week and a half has been something
that i certainly have never ever
witnessed and i've heard this from
people who are a lot older than me that
they've never
witnessed and felt this type of
this type of
the feeling of a gobble that has passed
on and the clamoring for people to
have a connection
to learn about him and take on a little
bit a little bit
in his memory
so last time we spoke about the safer
kiryas melech we got some tremendous
feedback
from
the listeners i'll just read a couple of
the emails that we got the messages one
person wrote that the jewish world
needs
a video in a series like this for each
and every saver of
that
most people have no idea about his
greatness and torah
and presentations like this one shed
some light upon him and his astounding
knowledge of torah someone else wrote i
listened to your segment
i think this is the best tribute a
meaningful review of asvarim and their
importance
so it's certainly an angle that many
people don't know and
hashem you're able to contribute in this
way
to enlighten people about the goddess of
abraham
through his farm well this time we want
to speak about three swarm one is called
ish of hadas one is called
his pirus
heim which is
the third one is the countries he wrote
called
how are you
hashem
very good
okay so you want to start with the yushi
vadas or give some context of how you
want to go about and why you picked
maybe these three sparring
yeah so let me so i'm going to begin as
follows
before i get to the threes farm that i
would like to focus on today just a drop
of um background to why i picked these
spherum first
in
as in the past ever since the material
of abraham
there's been a crazy amount of
uh the spade them both written
orals
[Music]
video recordings all over the world in
america arts israel everywhere from all
types of people people that knew him
people that just saw him from afar
and
people saying over stories and different
things about them and anecdotes a thing
that came up a few times i noticed in
various has paid them or comments about
him was
was requiem
a balkishrin from his from the early age
now
of course
as i saw in an interview that someone
published with her michael zilber he
says we have no business to even talk
about it
it's not even a real
not it's not even a real question and as
i'm going to show the question is is is
is really
is really a
it's not it's not a question to be asked
because it's silly
basically of course it's a smuggler and
his tremendous learning and as we
mentioned last time that he he was
learning called tarakula being assigned
every year contributed to who he became
but already from the from the sum of
this farm that i'm picking to discuss
today which are which are written when
he was very young
will the answer will be obvious that he
was already unique from a very young age
as a matter of fact one of his
grandchildren writes in in the safer
headquarter last time called asvaram
that
even before his bar mitzvah he had tyra
that he that he felt that it ended up
being incorporated in his safer sikh
asada volume in this in the volume 3.
there's no dates which are those pieces
of torah but basically he had notebooks
already from material of stuff of his
from before he was bar mitzvahed
we'll throughout in a later presentation
we'll talk about some other works that
he might have that he wrote even that he
wrote when he was let's say 14
but these works that we're going to be
focusing on today are written it seems
written as some of them are written you
start working them as a baker in
patarktika
and then later on when he decided to
print them he went over them again and
then he and then he published them
okay so the first
so
so last time i mentioned that one of
this farm that i got attracted the
originals farm that that i think i um
when i was young i took a liking to was
which the time i bought it it had two
volumes
and it
includes basically eight different swarm
it could be that they were printed
individually i don't know
at least some of them were printed
individually but i do know that they
were printed numerous times some of them
printed over 10 times and each time he
added in
different um
new corrections and additions
now two in
so i'm sure people are gonna
call in and write in that it's
pronunciated
so whoever has those uh
issues could send those in and also i
would think
i think also um it's worth mentioning
that the
shin yurkes were his initials right
yes definitely now
and i also like to say at this point to
disclaimer i apologize in advance if i
pronounce names of swarm word wrong
do not be medic in anything um i say
of this type i make mistakes
some i try to make it i should i do try
um to say right but sometimes it's
hopeless anyway with that introduction
so in this safer
until there's a conscious
um in the second volume it's called
yishuv hadas
and what is the ishvadas so
in in one sentence it is he goes to shas
to answer up every time the masha
ends a piece saying the yeshlyashev
and subhan went through shasta answer up
all those times that marshall says it
now
i would like what i'd like to do is to
discuss
to give the background behind this
significance of this and of the safer
and it's the stories as follows last
time i mentioned already
that i would like to claim and it could
be it's obvious it could be um many
others claim it or will claim it that
the requirements was impacted by a few
different godzilla more i mean savings
impacted by a lot of dylan but he was
impacted by four particular good islam
my claim was that he was impacted by his
uncle hasanish who he grew up by he
lived in the same house he learned with
him
his father the stipeler
the missionary and the vilnigan
i would like today to give some samples
of of some of the influences of some of
these people
so in this first safer
in the safer yeshvadas already
one of the things that's very
interesting with rokhan kanyeski is you
don't have to come up with tyrus why he
wrote certain farm most of his farm has
an introduction where he says he give he
pretty much says something he writes a
very begetzer but he says some of the
motives so to speak behind why he's
writing the safer which in general is
very useful information when you look at
a safer you look at the introduction
some sort of don't have early back
sometimes some don't have introductions
but
wrote a lot of times why he chose this
specific topic to write about it so in
the
safer
vadas he brings down
a famous letter of the fazanish about
the importance of learning the martial
so before we get to the kazonish's
letter
i would like to give some background of
what's going what what what's behind
this safer and what it meant
so
he
the first we'll start with is the
marshall
because he's coming to answer the
martial so back up a little bit with the
martial with the acceptance of the
martial and then through that we'll be
able to understand what
wrote and what and and what rakhine
kanyevsky was doing in this effort so
the martial was was in the in the world
he's very famous
for writing a parish both on
under on the i guess called the regular
parts of the gemara and also that guy to
gemara the guy mars
he he's born somewhere in the year 155
between 1555 to 1565 they're not sure
the exact year and he dies in 1631. he's
a rav in various places rashishiva many
in many
in a few different cities um
he's imparted one of the was part of the
vada by ratsay see gizaskamas to some
safari in his lifetime and la marshall
he was very involved with the famous
siddharth shabsi safir
his safer
some of his tyros starts coming out
already in his lifetime
such as his
comes in i believe it was 1611.
material of his
came out earlier but that's not
important for today's context a lot has
been written about him
most famous is a small safer a very nice
safer available on hebrew books called
told this adam from river margolis a
very very nice saver now
in general when one wants to know about
his particular goddamn a good stop to
start with is the khida the hedon
when he talks about
he says it was a tremendous cuddle
etcetera and he wrote
and then he says it's on roy talmud and
it's it sheds light on the gemara and
thai swiss and then he says
ashkenaz
zazu
that everyone was into it
and he he then he talks about
he mentions a sentence about the
khadusha goddess which is not for um not
to focus on today
now
the safer becomes accepted
as the writes
and and we find different um
as time goes on because it gets more and
more accepted
now
who lives much later
one of the things famously he does he
traveled he traveled all over europe
fundraising fair to israel
uh in the past few months um his travels
that he published that he didn't publish
that he wrote which were published a
while ago two new additions came out of
of these travels they're fascinating
material
and a lot of times he he transcribes
different materials of people that he
met or saw or things he heard
so at one point he talks about he he met
some good alum and and he refers to them
that they were being very isic in tysos
and the marshall and the marsha
with great eun and
okay he described such a such a such a
conversation that he had um that he
watched or or i think that he might have
had with them okay then elsewhere in the
in the muggle
he describes something that he heard
from someone
an old ducking about the rebel
rebel he's known as the rubber of
paschal although he had nothing to do
with fasidas as he predates khasidis but
the rebel repression as he's fondly
recalled
and basically he brings down a very
sharp story that um
that they say about the rebel paschal
someone he
he saw marsha he got very angry and he
threw the safer down he was very upset
about the martial and then it turns out
later on he he he realized he might have
been mistaken and he talks he talks a
little bit about it he has and he has a
few lines about this story but he brings
down but
here we see
that at least
someone is great the reber epistle was a
was a great russian shiva at that time
had some type of
um was some type of a snagged us so to
speak against the martial okay
a little before the khida there was a
great going his name was ribeying the
landslipper who
who died very young but he wrote a lot
he was prolific and he's in the world of
allah in the areas that he wrote about
he's very much quoted
he wrote sava
and in this
he talks about the martial
and he says something else he says that
when he talks about giving it's us about
what to learn and how to learn properly
so he says you should be madayak rav on
the perish of the marsha
and he says it could help
you understand the suggest
it's written with great kitzer
then he says it was written
it had to have been written with
because a human being could not have
written this safer okay
so we see that different people had
different
and there's more there's other quotes
and and if one checks and i'm not i'm
not here to speak by requests about all
the problems about them our show
although it's a worthwhile um
topic but i'm trying just to give some
to just to be able to appreciate what
rohingyawski was doing a bit later we
find let's say in volusion um it's
recorded a story more than maybe even
more than one story and sounds like from
the story the vibe one gets is that um
and civ wasn't so happy with his with
with um
with his nephew
who was being he saw him being isak and
marsha he said that's for a different
time
now
what's what's strange is is that if one
looks and then it saves writings let's
say you'll see he quotes the martial
many many times in all his writings
not only that
one safer that came out which which
deals with the marshall then it's if you
gave a beautiful ascama
so so what's so what's the shot behind
this
um let's say if you even could read so
much into it that there was some type of
islamists but there are other places
that it sounds like some people were
were sort of upset
about the natsif
not about them it's about
so
many times when um when one's looking
the there was a great
um a very special person
the previous generation his name was
slimy ace of zeven
he wrote multiple swarm and one of the
swarm
was called ishmashitas a lot of times he
could say something a sentence
and
derek aga from that you could understand
um
you could learn a lot from it so he's
talking about the marsha and he and it
sounds like
that
it became sort of that people were
focusing on it too much
of course the martial is a safer niffler
and its lushen is very medujak
but
sometimes chitsonit
gets its extremism gets too extreme and
what happened is that people were
spending too much time on the marsha
and they were losing focus from
being focusing on on what marsha really
wanted you to do which was to learn
rashi and tyson's and the gemara and and
it became a thing that people were
mama's spending too much time at it so
it's very possible that was more what
the native was getting nervous not that
of course that it's very important to
learn marshall but everything has to
have um be done in the proper amount of
time and focus now
and this could be found in various um
and it's mark there's nothing to say
such a thing okay but without we're not
we're not going to go into about
reference now
the the there was a great there's a
great safer from a rabbit his name was
her brunshbon and this were greenspan um
wrote a safer called malachism
um
he also has a rehearsal in his
rehearsals he talks about marsha and he
when he describes it he says the
following russian beautiful s
and a lot of times it could help us
understand the signona classic
and it's um
s
and it's and it's very focused on
russian isis and
he has yet he talks about this a lot in
a state from chavez which was recently
reprinted in a beautiful edition by
you shalom
and there's a lot more to say about it
but the kids are many good alum we find
on the other hand they were very into
martial martial i just saw recently a
quote from a bicho le discon how he was
very into learning the the
the the martial
and others were also in very much into
the martial okay now with this
background that they were we
the
the first letter
is about learning the marshall
[Music]
says
that he has a taina on his generation
that the generation stopped learning
martial it was and he says
and one should be mimik to learn it
properly and it teaches one
he also says it helps lizzie curran call
sugi le patel he says the previous
generations were did appreciate the
marsha
and then he throws out he says
and then he says
and then we'll get back to that problem
second and he says from when the people
left learning this
safer they lost out in idea
and it and helps learning improperly and
one in a misha sartar yashna and
mckitzer is very very um
and this letter has been quoted by many
people in today's generation
that we've it's i've heard it many times
in schmoozin that that it's a shame
people have stopped learning the marsha
and this
was
addressing
something specific something that was
going on anything you could track are
you gonna get to that or you know
i wish i knew the i don't recall if i
have seen what the backstory of this
letter of the khasanesh is and it's a
good question a lot of times we don't
know the backstory what was the who was
this letter addressed to and what was it
about i'm not sure
i have to look if there's an answer for
this one because some letters we do have
and the story is actually much a lot of
times could get more interesting but
anyway but this is a known thing about
the hazardous now
as i said the cousins throws out about
rebecca vega so so rebecca vegard
in the told us of rebecca
that i know that hazardous looked at
which was the famous
i could not find mention about the
marshall but in the dhamma to the joshua
the sons already right
that my our father rebecca veger he
didn't really have time to look at him
on the suggest
but what was happening for him he aimed
and that was the main akron that he
looked at
um
and he made sure to spend time using it
in one of the recent works on ruby vega
called the
iron shell israel so they have
uh i would say three four pages of
different
um places where
talks about marshall with unbelievable
titles we see that the martial was very
very important for emberkey vega
now
but more than that not only was the
importance of robert vega in for
learning as it's clear
i i was doing a search in
a safer one of the earliest farmers
that came out was
and even in that safer which is
he quotes it many times
and those horrors are more a lot of
times more relate to
this is obviously getting relates to a
different discussion which we're not
going to go into now about the marshall
being
and
we do find many daily uh paiskim do use
it because it's it is crucial to
understand a lot of times the suggest
and the way of our show will help
understand this
it will will have effects but we're
we we will leave that um for now
now so what but what
is being made and so to
see and he sees it also in the one
so much so that it bothered the
that it became forgotten so to speak
now
the
besides four um
i uh when i was learning in um in
yeshiva in the mirror so i heard shir
one of the people i heard cheer from was
ramayana levitz
and we were learning at the time kadusan
and he said an interesting remark a
kadusan the first parrot a lot of it has
to do with russia's and and um
and khashoggis and russia's of how we
learn out different denim from sukkam
and he said a lot of times
so he said there was a safer at the time
and then and which was an earlier safer
a famous acronym the atmosphere
so remember schneider said then the
islam yeshivas they took on to learn
that since if they use it a lot for the
long distance pieces but but most of the
safer is handling in the bonus of the
gemara it's an excellent safer to be
isokin to understand that
on some level there's parallels similar
to what the martial is doing maybe
there's there's also differences
said
that people think it's a godless we
don't need to look at those pieces he
says no because we can't even understand
it we're not understanding that there's
so much happening in the gemara
that's and because we're focused more on
different points just on the londons and
the
gemara and the the chakra tires of the
marashitaisis is not as much stressed
so the
and anyone who looks at his farm knows
that that was a very fundamental point
of his the text of the gemara the
learning of the shock of atari and the
feshbaenus is beyond important now
with this introduction we could we get
closer to our story of with rokhan
kanievsky
i recall
when i was in yeshiva
um
marisha shiva must have said something
either asked a question or something
about the martial and
somebody went over to him afterwards and
wanted to maybe answer a question that
he had or something with the martial and
if i recall correctly
he said something along the lines of did
you think about myself for more than an
hour says
you have to fast to understand this
martial
the significance that they held for
understanding martial was it was
great
correct yes but but it seems even today
i don't know for sure but it sounds like
it's still lost on some level it sounds
like the khazanish's complaint is still
relevant now
what now
with the marsha he wrote very bakitzer
and sometimes he he was just coming to
be my ira
points and he's felt that if one goes on
the right track of learning they'll
you'll get to the right point so he
wrote vietnamese
that if you if you understand the shock
of the time you look at it carefully
enough you'll be able to come up with
the answer you say he wasn't trying to
ask these
um earth-shattering questions or stump
people it was actually he was a he was a
it's legendary about the martial is that
this keyboard was written with his
tamidim he learned to tell me them
and not only that certain parts he he
skipped because he didn't learn with
tommy them because he was busy at the
famous erid that he used to go to as
being part of the vada bahraz
but
the the hebrew was a hebrew written with
with tamidem and it was to get talmidhim
to learn so he felt i don't need to
answer i don't need to spell out
everything
and so he wrote very bakitzer
and he even says this in his akdama that
he wrote very bakitzer now
fast forward
after them our show we read we mentioned
earlier the martial is already printed
as early as the 1611 so we get to the
1700s and there was two people they were
i think they might even be russian shiva
one's name was
he was
in grits and he had a great so he had a
friend
and they in the 1760s they decided and
it's very unique because it's not so
common to find two people put out a
safer together
we have sam with such a thing but
they're not not so common and they put
out a safer called hierarchy and by
russia
one of the things one of the main
focuses was to go through marshals that
were that he left off of the ashish and
they say in the dhamma we don't know too
much about them but in the dhamma they
already emphasized that today
people they still understand the
significance of taka learning the
martial but they get stuck on it so what
the martial and them done was a dover
paschal it needs to be spelled out so
they went in a chat oriented way so that
people who don't have as much time to
spend learning at the eun would be able
to know what possibly he meant with his
vhl ash so and they put it out
to see it seems the safer was very
popular it was printed numerous times
maybe seven eight times in in the 1800s
so that usually means it's very very
popular okay now
um so now we get to
recline kenievsky or kaine keniewski
writes in his akdama
that when he was young he and his lashes
okay he's about 20 years old at the time
and he also he's learning shiva's path
for the the repriance he says i made it
my business to learn the martial
he says
and he says vietnam at the end
and he doesn't explain why because
and many people are miyagaya to
understand it so he says there was a
safer yakar called harash shah
but it sounds like he didn't know about
it at the first at first so he went and
he sat and he went through all of shas
and walter marshall and he answers them
all we're not talking about okay he had
a few go he did it for a few things he
does it it's a it's almost 60 pages he
goes through ganshas
of the marshall when he went to print it
later on he checked and he saw he was
having a lot of times to the raj to the
safeway russia so he took out those
pieces unless he felt maybe had a better
answer and then he begins why he and he
says
what's behind it the fir the first
paragraph
introduction is he brings the whole
lotion of this amazing letter of the of
the kazanish so here we see him taking
on
at a young age
i don't know so many people today young
bakram that could do the could go
could go through all of shas and answer
the yeshly ashev of of the martial
crusader we're talking about all the
from the sectors over here the marshall
wrote on everything or most of shas come
at all of shafts and to do this so it's
a very unique feat
now
the part of the influence was is because
he was doing what he learned and saw
from his uncle that has an ish and it
had a tremendous impact on him and he
felt this is an important thing now
of course it's not it didn't necessarily
take off in the yeshiva world most
people never even heard of the safer i
would say in the 19 in the 19 um 1979
someone went ahead and printed a safer
call kaiwitsumafar marsha and in the
safer he printed five four svaram that
were written previously on the martial
and at the end he got permission from
khan kanyevsky to include his safer they
printed it
and like it's interesting is your clan
can you have ski rights
in this edition
that it wasn't written with proper eon
it was just to be
relieved
okay
this is the first safer that i would
like to do that i would like to mention
and here we see
one of the points i'm also trying to
bring out is that his somewhat of an
aspect of his connection with the
fazanish to conclude this pract just to
mention a draft about this with the
kazonish
throughout looking through all his works
we could see his impact and i hope to
discuss that more in a different time
but just
in the in the um
in the safety
time
the safer time the crown the back
so there is a small contrast which he
which he included things that he heard
from his mother about hanhagus of the
khasanesh
it's approximately um
40 40 different and haggis that his
mother told him and he recorded them
this time that already way way back now
interesting we i recently learned that
that the hankness has a safer about
hazard and haggis that he himself saw
living in the house that has an ish that
he that he recorded and his father had
him write this down for some reason it
wasn't printed it seems that he he
he said that he's he's allowing his
children to print it so hopefully we'll
we'll decide to have it soon and one
last thing is
in recent years a lot of material has
come out on the kaizen ish one of the
famous works that came out was the mice
multiple volumes it used to be it came
out one volume and people said okay and
another volume and another volume
another volume and then and like then
they even put out an index and they just
put out another volume and another
anyway at one point they it seems they
brought to rank he and he gave also a
bunch of pages of unhaggis that he saw
by the khasanesh
okay this is the first safer that i
wanted to discuss and this aspect of his
connection
with
well very fascinating you said you may
not know too many bachram who could do
it today it sounds like you may you know
a couple
no i i don't i'm being on just a figure
speech okay what's the what's the next
day if you want to discuss
so the next day for i would like to
discuss is the is heber on the
arkhashreim which is majors to the rush
listen before we get to this so this
video is found how do you find it today
it's on its own it's part of the hasadah
it's part of this
but also i think it's um it comes up as
the asheville on hebrew books if you
search where i can ask his name on
hebrew books he'll get many of this farm
for free
he gave them permission to put up a lot
of his farm already a while back
okay
that rings the bell isn't that what many
of the yeshivas
say during ello
exactly yeah
yeah so this is all so this also um
before i get to talk america i just want
to give a little bit what the safer is
and then i will explain
a little bit elaborate what rakhine did
for this safer
okay so first of all we have
a client
in this again in one of these one of the
countries and that was eventually
incorporated into the safer
it calls it
he writes that it's it's the rush
and he wrote very bakitzer
but it needs to be
he says
russian but he didn't bring his makaris
and people don't know where they're from
so he decided to go sit and track down
all the makairis and he brings down the
shyness of his albuquerque
he also he
it seems he really liked this heber he
wrote he made himself ready at the time
he published it with him
and over the years he kept on adding
um
to it
his first ta'ara already he stalls
through the the
the name
is not necessarily the name given to the
safer
um
by the rush but okay anyway now
so and he prints the safer um i'm not
sure when it was first printed but from
the end of the safer he says
when does he finish it he finishes it in
yeshiva
tough shinyu aleph and pataktikva
so he's also he's pretty young he's in
the low 20s when he puts out the safer
now to give background behind the safer
okay so first like this
you mentioned that you heard and you
recall that an l you used to learn in
yeshivas so it seems the safer became
very accepted as a monster safer but
before how did it become accepted and
what's the story behind it so
in the 1620s there was a plague in
europe and the taisis yantif after it
seems i guess when the plague i guess
stopped
um pretty much he made he um
he gave us russia in his city of prague
and in the middle of russia he says he
wants to make a takana
and this takana is
that
to say
daily
the hebrew of ravamov
um
he called he calls it arkhaskayam
it's a monster safer he says it's
printed already in some of the sudurum
he's going to split it into seven
khalaktum so every day to say a few
parts of the safer
daily wall
when to say it before barak shalma
after everyone's wearing talos and
filling
now he realized that not everyone even
could understand it so he he translated
it into german or yiddish whatever it's
called so that even the women should be
able to understand it and they can
listen and and even children will be
able to um
learn the safer and it was printed
already then in the 1620s
um this safer would take this young
since then it was printed numerous
numerous times there's even a scammer
from the sharia at one point where he
also says it's known already and changed
much later than the thai sisyantif
akopanim the safer becomes
very accepted in cloudy strong but no
parish was ever really written on this
safer
um
which is very interesting and it's not
really um you know i don't think it's
really quoted in the in swarm at all it
seems the
i think there is a shock that quotes it
once or something but not
you don't see it as a source
so much
um now
in the in the early 1990s there was a
journal called
which came out from benebrach which had
a lot of different kasha where people
used to send in articles
so one person a great guy that we lost
earlier this year rashema fischer wrote
in that it might not be majes to the
rush
okay and it was a part of an article
where he had some other very interesting
comments
the next issue uh khashoggi also was
recently nifty during corona
he wrote in that that also talking about
it saying that that already early on
people did it or miyake with rush okay
but these are all different questions
and bibliographical questions about the
hebrew if it is the raj it isn't the
rush
now
a little later um also in the same
journal another issue someone went ahead
and tracked down mama's early
manuscripts of it
and the question was when you learned
this
what's shot in the cedar and what's
what's shot in it what was the kavana
behind it some people said it's a tava
but there's no indication that it was of
the rush for his children anyway
but whatever it is even though it was
said by a lot of people but no one sat
and learned it it's a reason who wrote
it and to be
my mick in what's going on behind the
safe
it seems the balian muslim took a liking
to it marshall and kelm they were very
into it
and
at one point at one point
[Music]
various
of the balayamosa were very interested
the
admiral mckelm
was very into it and it seems he spoke
about it a lot
it sounds like for them they did it all
year round and others and
became a very known muslim safer anyway
sir um a while back in benebrach they
put out an edition of it where they took
all the pieces of of the of um
they took all different pieces of muslim
well the great
muslim where they talk about the safer
and they put it in in a safer um
calling it
rush okay very nice now they also have
the original
edition of the tais yantev and stuff
like that and they also have the
manuscript that i mentioned earlier that
was printed and the union you know in a
more muslic um
but the safer is looked at as a very
muslim and stack of very
useful interesting safer easy to learn
and and that was what they did now a
little earlier than them
there was a great guy in benebrach his
name was
ilber wrote a lotus farm he decided
to put out this is in the in the um
1950s i believe it was to put out a beer
on this apron he was very into
re-shining him he did this to the
mother's farm and he found it very
strange and no one went to learn the
safer as a reason
then someone told them by the way
someone beat you to it who beat you to
it or crying can you ask a young reprint
can you have ski wrote a safer on the
thing
in the end he gets permission from him
and it's printed today many this rib and
yemen silver edition was printed in many
editions also with the two peru or
hankanyeski and benjamin
the the what's called the boring
bibliographical information
about the safe now let's first focus on
replying kanevsky over here
where is rokhan kanyevsky here we see
early i was said that he had influence
of different
people
such as his uncle which we spoke about
and others here we see his tremendous
aha for ishain and anyone who goes
through all this farm will see
a word of a region is beyond important
him but not so much that just the word
of a reason he went out of his way to
track down all different types of vishnu
even the newest ones printed and he
quotes them all because either
here he went and he took the
it's the rush as he brings and he says
and he was aimid on to be mega called
tag
every macar okay now what is the word
every makara by iraq and konievsky means
already last time we said we discussed
how he has this javascript he's already
been doing the javascript sounds like
for a good few years
i don't know if it had all incorporate
everything but he ends up throwing in ko
tayu shabalpe as makairus over here so
it's sort of like a musser encyclopedia
also so let's say you're looking for
about you should have saver parameters
so you look up where he talks about save
pointing office and then you'll have
like 10 marmot criminals in kazal and
when this was coming out this is before
computers before all search engines
uh obviously it's kadai to mention a
very cute um um fact
at the lavaya they mentioned what what
their client
his son mentioned as a husband what did
he do for his chil with his children on
these friday long friday nights they
they were making them they had no
kashmir what did they do
he had a bunch of children he had to
amuse them so they would do is they
would test him there's a safer put out
by meister of cook called mcclellan
all different kazaals and or things
people say from khazal they would read
him a memor and they'd say where is it
from
list off what it said there probably and
then you list a bunch more so here he
went it's like an encyclopedia for
musser if someone needs to get up and
give a dress on booster and you want to
know cass
so okay today you could type into google
you get some things but here
he was doing this way before he has a
bunch of sources okay so that's number
one what he does number two is
it's a region so he sho ends the rush
right so so he goes and says what about
russia's other places does it work out
with other pieces of rush not every
piece is a relative but someone is and
he shows uh something might be a stirrup
sometimes he's handling a gemara he'll
throw in her arrow that he saw a steerer
somewhere but it's not just that he's
bringing you bavli you shall me midrashi
he's bringing
their hearts
tongue debaleos all different midrashim
last time i spoke chemical to the rashmi
somehow gets in here also
then he brings even some muscle swarm
you say vishairish avoid him many times
he brings him a celsius sharim he brings
in many times to say
him sometimes he even argues
he's throwing at you all different
things different madrassian from a safer
right so madrashim which hashem i hope
to talk about
and all this is to show so he's doing
he's first of all he's being the farish
the the the safer he's giving the
sources from a multiple sometimes it
could be three pages of of harris of
ghazal's that talk about this thing okay
bucketzer
um you see here this murder viva study
this is where i'm saying is this was it
could be other dialum had it and people
mr burrow was also into but he i think
took it to a new level which i hope to
elaborate on more but that was part of
what was motive in this safer
i just want to show
that another thing one other point that
he says besides for showing with the
rush so
in one of the auditions they say rebecca
sarno was aimed on that there's a lot of
similarities between here and rabbini
himself assignment on this and he shows
sometimes with the rabbini
that this could be a macarthur
now i just want to mention just one
example for such a thing which okay
says in a few short words
he doesn't say all of it but just to
understand why a lot of times when you
learn these types of swarm it's very
very interesting in a lotion it's a
region and and looking at a region how
he could word something a lot of times
could be miyashev something or could
help you understand something so there's
a piece of
this i just want to give one example
this mama's very big surname
there's a piece where he talks about
this
then he says
over here is that there's a famous safer
of the besif
um which is the maggot spoke to the base
yosef and
a lot to talk about to safer the kitser
some people said that it can't be it's
the basis because there's a problem with
the safer what's the problem with the
safer the series of says
he's going to be zaika in the safer the
malek says something to the fact that
he's going to be burnt i'll kill this
hashem
um and he doesn't die but kill the
shashimura the best doesn't die i'll
kill his hashem with this rafa okay
whatever
so people use it as a raya it's a
problematic safer what's going on over
here
so the radal talking about this and it's
safer
he says what the kavanagh over here was
of the of her basic kaya wasn't that
he's going to be meister nephesh and
he's going to die
you just have to have cavanaugh
you have to have kavanaugh to be moister
yourself
now
the
rabbina
says
when does one what every day one is able
to do this when during krishna that
even though you didn't it's good enough
that's what abhinayana says and there's
other macarius and different we're
shining them for such a thing that's the
kavana over here
when reb
the rush and darkest time over here also
says
um he says when you're saying
when you say it
over here also he brings down the piece
and then he says um he stills too
he brings down this
um um he brings in the gimbal and
barakas he brings down magician
and then he brings down this concept is
brought down weir in the
void
they also bring this down the the
seaside so in a few short words and this
is what the radar says is really the
shot in the magazine so it's not a riot
there's a problem with the magnificent
this is just one tiny example of the
many it's very small print so there's a
lot a lot of material in here in this
hebrew of
we got to see him as a mepharish of a
region
using his incredible knowledge at a very
young age that we're predating all
computers and everything showing that he
was something very very unique even at a
young age
wow so we have the yesha yash with the
martial which is something
unique may have been done somewhat in
the past but i'm certainly
took it to another level then you have
verb
like you said the sources the muslim
safer
well really eye-opening okay so that's
number two and you still want to talk
about a third one
yeah the third one is very is not so
long it will be oh it's like this i said
one of the influences on on on rib uh
kaneowski is the vilna gain
so again i hope to elaborate more about
this but in the next
small hebrew i want to demonstrate this
also he prints a hebrew
which is also in this
in this collection and it's called he
calls her as follows it's called
and then afterwards there's another work
called conscious marijuana this is a
small contracem
um
and what is it so he says like this
writes first
okay
so what's going on over here so dear
again i will make a very big sir i have
to have recommenders already on um
the listeners
is this follows
if you look in your shasta vilna in the
back of your gemara where today everyone
sees a lot of people use eyes
so you have this uh one of the purusha
and one of the swarm that was
incorporated is the fey e9 what's the
assay 9 so this is a work written by
ariel bialyn
he dies
he's um he's born in the 1820s he dies
in 1886.
he learns in velajin arav bunchesvarim
prominently trisha gado okay fine what
was he unique one of his uniquenesses
was that he wrote this
so if you open up the introduction
just found the gemara brachas basically
when you learn gemara
you learn beverly talmud
a lot of times there could be
a piece in your xiaomi that will be very
relevant to you but it might not be
right over there on that kamara maybe
it's in maybe you're learning your
vanish and there's a piece in your
xiaomi in gitan that could help you
understand it so he make sure to move
aside but not only that he does it for a
lot of other
including midrashim and he writes this
married the significance of it obviously
when one thinks about this this is
obviously coming from he learned the
village and the villain
influence on it is also obvious
so
just to give i'm just and to explain
what i'm talking about i'm just going to
use one example from him and then i'm
going to conclude with what khan
kanyevsky says in his um dhamma about
what he was trying to do
and that's it
basically
there's a hebrew
about the famous calmer of the village
so in there he brings a famous story um
a famous thing very bakitzer it says it
says impossible
so the question that everyone asks
what does after sheila have to do with
this pasuk so the gears change was
suggested that it said i and tough and
the russia tavis is wrong and it really
should be after human and it will be and
then it will make sense because if
truman and akev there might be some um
connection okay but and and and there's
endless amount of material about us so
so rabbi husker fivel brings this down
he says that the the
that
that um this mistake just to correct it
that of the russia tabus was wrong
already he brings the grab assignment on
it then later on he brings that uh told
him that in the chuvas uh
you know rajma he found allah lived
human and others okay
this is rip zalman um and um and this
was a suggestion it could be a zombie
and also said it but this is a piece in
the talusam
now you say nayem in that sugya in
yuma he has a whole piece about it
and basically what does he do he brings
you down
the um
the gemara he obviously talks about the
mara
and then he brings down um
the magistrate of akaraba are you shall
mean kadusan a magician boris rabba
another madrish
and uh majestuma a few places all weird
that with the where the lotion is
then he brings down this
and you obviously see that he's holding
that he has a lot of gear size that's
not like this
he has a godzilla beret a giratius and
other things now
so he's bringing down tons of sources
and and he taught and then he talks
about it so you could see a lot of times
it's a lot of times it's not just a year
so change a lot of times it could be
upshot and he could say how does he do
this by his incredible yada and bakis
he was uh entire shabbat pair
beverly you shall me etc etc now so
comes along the young i don't know what
age your kindness he wrote it but i'm
pretty sure he wrote it when he's
relatively young but i'm not i'm not
saying it's the same time as that
because i forgot the date it doesn't say
a date a lot of times it says replying
that it's very important we know
and it's amazing what the what the fear
nine did he was an italian all the
places where gemara and midrashim but he
wasn't there's certain places especially
in alan's roman tyrus where it's very
very important because there we don't
even have talmud it's very useful and
important to do this
so um there's also russian that this
girl says and he's going to collect them
the ones that he's missing so he goes
and he puts it out
and here you see
once again based on his yada incredible
yadda and teresha up pages of showing
you the midrashim the safra safri
and when one uses this one sees this so
first you're blown away by this type of
unbelievable heck if and yet
and part of what we're talking about he
was doing it wasn't to show off about
his islamic comments because he held
this is unbelievable crucial in
understanding this where is this coming
from this is the vilnigan school that
kul tereshwa everything is relative when
you learn the bible you have to know
what you shalom he says you have to know
what the madrashim say not only for a
girsa it's more it's a lot of times it
could change the shot it could be a
whole sentence to the story okay and the
last thing that he does is the
maramaktim is a similar thing it's union
from a question texas he says that they
bring a magish or xiaomi or to sefta and
it doesn't say where it is
so now if it's uh if it's a magician the
plastics or cesar kangaski i'm not going
to bother with but a lot of times it
isn't so who's going to know it
without banning eyelash just goes
through and he lists you all the
different places again through his crazy
knowledge not only of bavaria xiaomi but
of many mid-russian midrashim that i
mentioned last time but even some
obscure sources just to mention one say
from isis or abandon islam which i hope
to talk about where climbing we have is
our sun has got on this whole safer from
the garden anyway be that as a may from
these three farm alone
which are written when he's two of them
for sure he's written when he's young
we're we're seeing that rokhan kanyevsky
did something beyond unique he took his
incredible knowledge of which came
through it wasn't he wasn't born with it
it was incredible hasmada and khazari
which he was always madness it's
as it now become more and more famous
this book about it
and he took that and he used that
information that he learned to be able
to be magala and be my first areas of
torah on unbelievable levels i hope to
continue with more samples to elaborate
to explain this even more in depth and
more in depth because this is just the
type of shabayan of the swarm that he
printed
thank you so so much what could we do
learn extra minute two minutes three
minutes five minutes a day i don't know
for the next month at least
we got it we got to take something from
this okay
so everybody will take what they could
we're not here to make suggestions but
it's really really fascinating thank you
so much for sharing and we hope to have
a few more episodes on this thank you
you
