nahi weinstein of the spartan shadow podcast interesting is that i think we live a couple miles apart from each other we've never met face to face so it's nice to see you on zoom this will also be oreo on this farm chatter podcast video on all that and we are here to share what's farmer out there and are available as we proceed to learn this how are you good hashem thank you elisha for for i guess allowing me to join you and for you to join me depending on which platform this is going to be people are hearing this on exactly so most people probably know who you are if you want to give a 30 second intro since we're keeping this brief and to the point of who you are and how you got into swarm and a little plug for the swarm chatter podcast sure so we'll try to do this as quick as possible listeners of the podcast and if anyone would like to check it out i actually just did was a one-year anniversary so on farm chatter which can be found on google podcast apple podcast whatever it it will say there um sorry there's an episode where you can listen a little bit about myself but just to give it quickly um i now i'm in law school but i'm starting to go work backwards um i was cuddled yeshivas and i was always wearing this farm and swarms was something that interests me i was gabe's farm when i was in shiva in philadelphia yeshiva and i was gabby's farm i'm in charge of a shul in lakewood actually in charge's farm and gradually a famous ux landmark on fifth street in lakewood however london my grandfather shul right that's correct and um in charge of that that answer where we have a pretty good answer i think if i'm allowed to say so in the game of dover and uh so it's always been interested in especially resharing him across him you know older all this far i'm interested in you know learnings farm the critical editions because the others etc so so that kind of thing definitely interested me and just a wide variety of safari i mean and i'll just recap for for for old uh people watching this that may not be familiar i started a twitter account where i posted all svarim and gradually evolved books etc and it i started this podcast interview program okay sure now this is not just to be clear this is not meant to be critical i'm not one of my uh academic or historian guests so so this is just very quick um you know overview of the swarm and the there's so much more there and who the sparrow are the mojave swarm are it gives it a gives a person a broader expanse of what they're getting involved in and a greater appreciation for the actual lumos right for sure i did this on on soccer and we figured we'll go this way so for listeners of my podcast here i figured let's try something different and absolutely not a villain definitely necessarily has the time or or or interest or whatever to pick up one of these foreign but i think it's important number one we're going to see the the the scientists against foreign speaks it out or that he likely was involved in the pierce magenta of maine's which is um the listeners may know it as um rabbina gershom on the side of the gemara which is irvana garcia didn't write that that was a compiled pierced magensa so he was likely involved with that to be so that kind of style it's very smack if somebody's looking for another kind of region you kind of want to go along with it and now forgetting exact years when he lived we'll see seventeen hundreds but someone will correct me that i was wrong on that 1700s around um it's undoubtedly not wise now i'm probably i might be pronouncing it wrong um i don't know if he was the rather he was the brother-in-law of rubismo um he was friends his son was the wrath of lavorno after him so he's famous for this both that he wrote on he is the work he is the region after an endpoint he's the everything and and and he goes through literally he came out every single right you know tyson's rashi gemara he's going through back and forth i mean it's it's dense it's lengthy it's got everything in here okay so before you talk about a little bit you know what a style is i see i pulled up nice hard covers yeah that one's not available i believe you have something there that you're holding which is available yeah so we can i was going to mention that we can mention that now already yeah so if the css unfortunately is not available i've heard that it's being redone and i'm sure someone sent an email or something i'm not confirmed i don't know um but right now this is a paperback if anybody will maybe people know what this is this is um order it and it is available to get um again somebody's working on a new one so i've heard but this is available now i mean his style i mean i haven't used might use it really in a while but it's it's really that you know sardi's style going through shots marginalized going through everything you know and and the other thing that i wanted to point out about it is is that in the back of the safer in the second part he has um peerish so he essentially went through the asham and picks correcting many mistakes and explaining it so i've heard that this is an ice the hudder but uh that last piece or i'm sure they used it extensively so that's something else that's that related to those genres so this is the safer on the massachusetts still is but obviously like i said a little more heavy he's going through each right it's going to not eat but whatever each it's more of a back and forth now the other thing that he quotes many times is something called he calls it shitak saviat and he goes over 400 times so many many many times wow now who was this so this it seems like he found out only at the end because he called it at the beginning and the bloody knows it's moroccan he lived in 1660 to 1733 i believe of those of the years um and he is known he's famous for for those that know i guess famous uh they say it is he has a say from the center called a very classical very important safer it was published by ava shalom mecca michelle farmhouse this one the this was just published in uh i in tess um this was published by the magana vote actually the uh publisher robert morgan ledbar i did an interview with yes from los angeles right from los angeles correct he has a lot of safari he publishes so this was published there now again what he does interestingly is again it's similar to the same style he goes through a lot of you know shot himself the quotes a lot he also is very busy with griez the editor of this one explained that he used the printing that was the the addition of the shots that he used had a lot of mistakes so it's correcting that so how does it again you know that kind of thing is interesting um the thing that i want to point out that i came across of this is that um about shalom like i said ryan michelle's publishing house has a they have a like a sister company called hilo israel institute and they published a very interesting uh it's a um [Music] annotated almost bibliography of it was there was a list of the ms of gare the guy rebbe had a very big he was a big bibliophile a lot of swarm and there was one of the previous scary rebels yes for those that no no i should have emphasized that yes and he had a big library and they have the list of his farm there they were going to sell it i don't know during world war ii got lost exactly what happened there's there's a very exciting sense of introduction here and which i read when this came out and he does so one of this form of here number 90 is evidently the one that was published last year is from the bodleian library in oxford from the hyman michael collection some people know him but his name is hyman michael this one here is a different manuscript what's interesting about that is it's the actually now in the payment against family another and and there um is what they say here is that the two different manuscripts are missing different things and they're planning on taking the two and publishing an edition now this came out a few years ago that still has not come out but i just want to point that out so again this saviat is something that's interesting if you're looking for the same sign of shot you know kushmak i say for an earlier actor and something obviously the cs gets a closer all the time so if you see it would make sense to get a copy as well um so that would be um for those things now a couple of other before we get into like heineken farm a couple of other olds farm obviously just to stay with the stardom for a second um i can't forget that there's a hidden rabino mushroom imran also shalom they have a number of farm of his also very good schmack going through martial texas shot you know i believe you mentioned him in your podcast also right correct i did and the second one i mentioned as well he um it's very smart now the thing is what i mentioned there i'll mention again i i i completely forgot to say this also the sheet xavi is readily available as i said is available on amazon the mission membrane is probably not available it may be available um but it's probably not so that's something that i want to um just point out now if it would be these from all you know the 20 range a little bit less not expensive so that's another one now the other one that we can't forget um is obviously the guruseri yes yes so we can't forget that one now the grossery so here's the thing there's a nice addition a very nice edition by rabe weisman from from lakewood so i believe you were in touch with him rubbish sweet and that one is i don't know i didn't think it was around but he said it is around that it will be back in stock correct he sent me an email that will be in the stores next week um we could leave his email address i don't have it on me this second but you can leave it in the notes of your episode and i'll try to include it here somewhere as well he says you can be in touch with him to get it as well okay right so that so that's very nice with notes et cetera um the they're also so then there's one that just comes grocery and all them all through mistakes um i think yuma tennis and marcus right but but yeah now it also comes in a two volume but that's just plain print there's nothing to it there was a nice one with some notes but i don't that's not around anymore it was it was a different one like a red a purplish cover so that one's not around so that's really that and the last thing i would mention is uh that people know him but he also has an um a little bit and he has a numera on the final parrot okay that's another one that i would point out as well i guess we'll call those early till almost hand diggers i don't know you want to mention that there's also a safer i think has some some nice writings on yuma right yeah i mean yeah this farm that have standing on shots we'll have a little bit bits and pieces here and there i'm not going to list you know the classical you know the issue yeah yeah right so now okay so you want to get to the what we call the hindigus farm some of the heintek the raids farm yeah sure so so i mean it depends what everyone's looking for obviously everyone today wants to get the raid i don't know today what values are because everyone has misifto evidently and that everything has everything but i went through the massachusetts actually it's bound here rather of a copy of isaiah mohammed who has he has he has a large amount of farm and what's nice about him is is that he doesn't first of all if you want to do a little bit uh you know you don't want to just cheat and have it just handed you a little schmuck because first of all he goes through gemara and he has all his arrows in the gemara and then he has rashi rashi thaisis it's very nicely done separated yeah it's similar to what the the on shasta the one on broca's magilla roshana does with the old safer same thing it's split up which is very nice set of the triggers great if not get out of the local shul all these other ones are sold there are michaels are around they were so they're sold in two individual each volume sold separately um these are not expenses from either by the way um has three volumes there's three volumes so those are also i think they're sold separately to be honest on island yuma there wasn't much of ram yet on on yuma they had on zlatan but fantastic fantastic storm i think if i'm not i'm not mistaken he's a talmud of roberto salvajic and you know he says over from him and he's working with that i guess the brisker derek mahalo somewhat you know today's classic right as i could be i'm not sure of that um and then there's also miraculous mordechai i would point out on on the uh i think it's the fourth paragraph
