P is bracious
created everything and he used the word.
So
um
many many things are um considered
and yes we expect
is uh whatever he does is good is
perfect and so on.
The one so does on the second day the
kazal say why but the surprising one is
that on adam there is no to it's not
written
keto so true that afterwards it's
included in the bria but it's very
surprising of all the things that we
would expect to be to
we expect Adam to be
and no mention that. So the ikrim speaks
about this
and the ikrim
um explains
on why
and he says that and this this is I
guess a very very um an important
understanding what Adam is.
If a person were to say that Adam man is
the most perfect of all creations,
he he wouldn't be completely right.
So there are things that are good
as they are. So for instance, if I have
if I'm producing a chair, I have a
workshop factory workshop producing
chairs. When a chair is ready to sit on,
it's cut, it's it's it's been screwed
together, painted, upholstered, and now
it's ready to sit on. That chair is a
good chair. Tove means something that
fulfills
its um purpose. And so we definitely
we're going to say to about it
everything in the Bria fulfills its
purpose.
Man was not created that way. Man was
created
unfulfilled. He was created in a way
that he would have to develop into what
he would be.
Um the the um the the Adam is from
Adama.
Um the the the the adama is something
earth is something that has all the
potential in the world but nothing more
than that. Um earth is something which
is a um it's the building block for
everything. It's the place we can grow
everything. It's everything is from the
earth but the earth itself is just
earth. Adam is called that because when
he comes into this world he is all
potential and no realization. That's
what Adam is.
So you can't call Odam to as you see
this also
um it's very interesting by um animals
every single animal is born
ready to go. It t it takes very little
time, relatively little time for an
animal from their born to when they're
functioning
and most of it is spent in basically
just achieving the size that they need
to achieve. But most most faculties are
in place, their instincts and so on. Man
is very very different. The length of
time it takes for man to grow into into
uh a a being is is into anything takes a
very long time. He he he's helpless for
far longer and takes much longer to
mature. It's a percentage of of his of
of of his years that he that of his
potential lifespan. we spend an awful
lot of time um as as a child as as a
baby as a child and so on the answer. So
that's why Adam can't be called to in
the sense that he is not
the finished product. It's it's not the
chair. It's just just bits and pieces.
the um the the um the tlas is it it says
by
say that you know if if uh
that that if a person is does their vote
it's as if I count I count you as if you
have made yourselves
what it means is that in
When a person is
that means he justifies his own
existence
and it may be said about him that he
gave himself existence that's something
that is um unique to Adam and in a
certain sense it it by far supersedes
the tove of every other being because
every other being is to just in the
sense that I'm created in a certain way.
Adam is to because he was able to create
himself and make himself into who he is.
Ramal speaks a lot about this that that
that
wants us to be the most do it he wants
us to be do as much as possible. And
since selfjustification
is,
you know, self justification sense just
justifying one's own existence
is what's true about
exists because he exists. It's it's not
an external factor. Adam is quote
unquote similar in that way that he was
meant to be created and justify his own
existence. So the tove that we have
um in the bria which about everything
else is extremely different than the
toad. The to the bria deals with things
that have a complete form. They're not
lacking anything and that for sure
applies to everyone.
So the word tove in the sense that he is
as he is that's something that is not
true that Adam has it within himself to
create his own existence to make his own
to that yes that exists by it's
interesting so the the word for instance
the word to and ra's
behavior doesn't exist we can't say that
this animal acted to this animal acted
ra because it's instincts. It's all it's
all been locked in and and and it does
what it does. There's nothing there's
nothing that's been um no choices. So
every animal follows the script of of
its you know genetic material. Adam is
the only one who makes a decision
and therefore we we can we can um mark
out of him as either to or because since
he has the ability to to to realize um
what's in himself he brings that to
about
so um the there is a remarkable
difference in in the very creation of
Adam from Adam to everything around him.
Everything around him was created
to in the best way possible. Meaning
having all the properties that are um
appropriate for it in the best way
possible that applies to everything.
Adamu
gave him the the the he did not he did
not come to this world with those
qualities but he gave him the ability
and the um and the direction to develop
those qualities himself and that's why
ironically ultimately Adam is the only
one that you can say to on his existence
at his lifetime you can't say that this
tree was to or this animal was to their
creation was to but from that point
onwards no to is realized Adam on his
creation we can't say to but if he lives
a lifetime and accomplishes that's when
we can say it's Christ.
