Aleph Beis - Destiny Vol. 1 - Eli Nathan REACTION!!!

Hey guys! So I was going to do a daily dose of Jewish  music and one of the requests that I got is   a song that I've heard multiple times but not in  the whole song entirety I just know the chorus. The song is Alef Beis from Destiny and so  I'm going to listen to the song now and   you're going to watch my reaction then  we'll discuss it after so here we go. While I'm listening I'm going to look at the   lyrics here meanwhile so that I  could actually see word for word. [Music] Love the intro. Pretty good [Music] Love the voice Love it. [Music] So Russia, Soviet Union Makes Sense. It's emotional for me cuz my  grandparents went through this. Love the harmony of that part. [Music] It's not your conventional song  where you know like when the chorus   is about to come up or the verse like  there's pauses which is interesting. [Music] It's interesting that the music doesn't  change as much with the story like with   the part with the story like the part of the  soldiers but you can tell from the singer.  Pretty good! The harmony is great! [Music] Also a very old way of making music  where you don't put the harmonies lower [Music] I was looking at the lyrics  before it pops up it's crazy It's simple words but it's so  powerful it's not like playing   around with rhymes or anything it's simple  thing saying the story yeah it's so powerful It goes very quickly straight to like the  whole thing is a memory for the soldier It makes the song make you think like than thank   you Hashem for like, We're not in this Wow! there's a lot of crazy stories of that in  the sovet union where KGB were actually  cuz what happened was is at the the  height of the Soviet Union Revolution   a lot of Yidden followed the Soviets the Communist Revolution and its ideology  so there's a lot of crazy  stories where KGB soldiers were  were frum when they were young but not when they  grew up and when they became part of the force and   then they meet these from Yidden There's crazy stories  there's a chanuka story like  that the famous hanuka story yeah So the song.  Overall it's very I I just love the simple the way it's just simple  words and yet it's so powerful And it's and you and it's not your  typical Aleph Bais song definitely So I only knew the Chorus Alef Beis Gimmel Daled  Hei but I do not remember any of these words  So I'm glad I made this video and actually listen  down it's a great song uh all songs from Destiny Most of the songs that I've  talked about is Destiny  And it's true, destiny is one of  those albums which are underestimated  it says from 1985 the destiny  albums yeah from the late ' 80s they're so underestimated and  Eli Nathan composed all of   them it's it's amazing songs through and through All right that's the reaction let me know  what you think of this if I should do more   songs generally any songs or music videos  that I haven't watched I'll definitely do Yeah!
