We are a stronger community when we unite together. That has been the guiding principle of the Agura movement. Over the last number of years, our way of life is under attack. We're a community now that is more afraid to walk the streets and show our identifiable religion than ever before in our lifetime. There are elements of society that are attacking so many different aspects of Orthodox Jewish life. Brismila Shita whether it's through the media whether it's through government sources elected officials are hired by you the people every elected official knows exactly which neighborhoods vote and which communities don't vote every vote counts every vote is crucial we have to make that statement that they see yes they're coming out I spend a lot of time in the halls of government talking to elected officials advocating for our community but I don't feel like I'm just an individual they're representing thousands people. The way to have our collective voice is by the ballot box. I've heard all the excuses. I'm busy. I don't like any of the candidates. My one vote won't matter. If you do not go out to vote, there's someone else out there that is voting. That person is deciding the makeup of our government. We are now living in an emergency situation. We were taught that in an emergency, you break the glass and pull the alarm. The way we do that is we stand up, make our voices heard at the ballot box on election day. Can you imagine this election day? Thousands of people throughout our communities come out and vote. Elected officials will take notice. You will see an immediate change in the respect shown to our community. I'd like to make a personal plea to each and every person who's watching this video. Go ahead and vote.
