[Music] about 13 years ago barbara comes over to me and says you know i have this this idea why can i make all hasset or at least a center of assets in the community achieve exists to wipe the tears off the faces of people who are going through terrible terrible service to all kinds of confusion people who need us don't necessarily know what we do many people call us and say i'm just in trouble if your family god forbid has a crisis mental health medical death related emotional financial three am on a friday night you know you can vlog [Music] we have a 24 hour seven days a week hotline that if you call you will reach a live person we give better attention and better care when you reach somebody directly a human being a little bit more than a month ago we received a call from the hospital that the roof was on fire this was the scene as firefighters responded to a fire at the roof of the hospital the call came a little after 5 pm one of the first calls i received was from rabbi bender he knew i lived about 40 minutes away and by sending an individual from hatsola to come get me we'd actually cut that time in half knowing that i had good partners within the community to get me there on time and provide any type of support i needed was absolutely fantastic anytime i get a call by the rabbi they have a problem in the community substance abuse crime issues they come to us we give them our resources but on the other side when we have a problem we reach out to the rabbi the rabbis that reach into the community that point of light that can find his way into that community open those doors for us to make our conclusion more successful i call on ahizer all the time just because you're the physician doesn't mean you have access to every single resource that you need sometimes when you need things done very quickly on a friday afternoon an hour before shabbos it's a last minute thing call one number they know how to get it done even for doctors if the regular things people get thrown out of an apartment and have no place to go or they're thrown out of health insurance and they don't know where to turn and with all the bureaucracy who did i turn to you there's an old student of mine from 35 years ago who's been sleeping in this car and i called up my dear friend roberto bear rebecca bear called me back a short while later i have a place for him don't worry you'll be okay one story add to the other that's what that's what ajieza is all about yantep is beautiful but yantep is very expensive whether you choose peso joseokis you can get help based on your income they give you two credit cards i got two some people may get more and then you could go and it's it's good for quite a while because there's an organization like ahiezer in our neighborhood everybody's attuned to milos kasady but it's infectious to everybody else that's special that's unique is like hashem and we should all daven for that day of dima the worst thing is when we find out where someone tells us if only i had known you guys could transfer my husband to a better hospital you guys can get the insurance to approve that you can get the cemetery open after it's closed and i think the more we get the message out there yeah it might be in a higher quality but it means that we're there for the community and it also means that we're asking people to support this cause so this is able to continue i think everybody in this town can sleep better because they know that there's a phone number to call whenever however [Music]
