this is your rachmael milstein and you're watching a cure of minute often people tell me i live in a froome community i live in a from area i'm completely isolated i don't have the opportunity to do kirov because everyone around me is from let me share a story with you i moved to lakewood new jersey recently by hashem it's a beautiful place to live i must tell you my house came with a pool i'm probably the only person who ever bought a house with a pool that didn't look at the pool before they bought the house because frankly i didn't care very much but once summer rolled around i decided to open it up and take a look and see what i've got and it turned out there was a pretty nice pool there but the waters were completely murky and polluted there was all kind of stuff in there and i had no idea how to clean it up so i went down to a local store that sells pools and services pools i come into the shop and there are a lot of sales people milling around most of them with a lot of tattoos and piercings and they're helping customers a lot of other jews are there getting help in terms of i guess cleaning up their pools there's one guy in the store who's sitting in the manager's office and he has nothing to do with these from customers who in the store it seemed always there was a barrier between him and those from customers and something told me this guy might be jewish so i went in knocked on his door and i said excuse me i'm looking for a rabbi and he looked at me and he says a rabbi why are you looking for a rabbi in a place like this i said i said i am a rabbi and sometimes when i have a difficult question that i can't answer i have to find a rabbi's rabbi to answer the question i've got a pool now i know nothing about pools i need a rabbi for my pool because i've got a lot of questions and no answers the guy breaks out with a tremendous smile and to make a very long story short we are great friends today there isn't anything that i can send them before shabbos a bottle of wine a hollow whatever it is and he appreciates it what happened was i simply broke the ice i took the gamble all i did was i stepped out of my envelope of comfort my comfort zone and i made a contact that i would not have made otherwise and everything changed the relationship so whatever you're doing wherever you go take a chance if the fellow is not jewish big deal what have you lost but if the fellow is and you connect who knows where that person can grow into where that person who that person can become and how close they can become to their own yiddish guide this is rachmael milstein and you're watching akira minute
