There are so many couples.
in our community that get married with
the same dream you and I had and so many
of them all of a sudden 3, four, 5 years
in, it's not happening the way they
expected. Every day becomes a struggle.
Every hour becomes it becomes hard to
look at your phone. It becomes hard to
go to a wedding. It becomes hard to go
to a bris. It becomes hard to talk to
your sister because you're listening to
her baby crying in the background and
she's acting like the baby's annoying.
And for you, it's all you dream
of. A giving hand is one of the most
incredible organizations in our
community. A young couple decided to
take upon themselves to help everybody
else. The story of a giving hand began 3
years ago. Golden and I from our
personal challenge with infertility felt
the need to give back to the community
and serve as a funer for fertility
treatments.

What we learned over the last three
years is not every situation is the
same. There's other factors that come
into play. Some couples are just getting
married. They're married for a year, two
years. Some couples are married a little
longer. Some of the couples have been
blessed with children naturally and now
they run ran into a block and now
they're having
issues. There are male factors, there
are female factors, very complex issues.
What we've been dealing with helping
these couples is a toz. Getting phone
calls from these young girls in their
20s start just starting their lives and
then figuring out that they they have to
go through something called IVF and they
have no other option and nobody else to
turn to. You feel lost. You feel
helpless. You feel like you have nowhere
nowhere to go and and don't know what to
do. And they feel like they're in the
dark. Infertility is not only
financially draining, it's emotionally
draining, psychologically, religiously,
spiritually. It hits on all fronts. When
we first got married, it was 19 years
ago. Infertility was never ever spoken
about. If you couldn't have a child, you
just had to suffer in
silence. This is something that, you
know, you can't really just solve. You
have to go through the motions. And the
motions were difficult. I knew what
other people were going through. So, we
were just trying to help guide them and
lead them in the right direction. The
ideas that we had, the things that we
did. Since the inception of a giving
hand, we've helped 110 couples. We've
distributed $900,000 directly to
fertility clinics and doctors. And by
hashem, 36 children have been born to
date.
And if I have three words for Meer and
Gold, it's powerhouse couple. They're
the softest, most wonderful couple that
you can meet. They're so selfless that
instead of worrying about themselves,
they're worried about other couples and
how they could bring more babies into
this world. What they did in the past 3
years, I don't think I'll ever do in my
lifetime. I actually got a FaceTime call
when the baby was born. Minutes when she
was born, she facetimed me and she said,
"This is Auntie Gold. She's always going
to be your auntie Gold. We didn't just
help her for the 9 months. She's going
to be my child forever. The excitement
he had when I finally told him that my
wife was pregnant. I mean, we we weren't
telling anybody cuz we we were just
scared. But I remember when Ma reached
out, it was it was just it felt like
telling my father. I was just so
grateful to a giving hands for helping
us get past that really difficult time
where we didn't know how we were going
to pay for everything and get through
all of these challenges. There's no
better feeling in the world knowing that
when we write out a check. It's not just
writing out a check. It's letting this
couple know you're not alone. We're here
with you every step of the way. We
understand exactly what you're going
through and we're going to be here
through thick and thin. Today, our
request of you is, can you be a giving
hand for so many young couples to be
able to meet their dreams?
Because without your financial support,
that child would not have been born. You
help a couple bring a child. You're
bringing a world.
We all know the immense reward that you
receive when you support an organization
focused on creating lives. There's no
greater gift in the world you can give
someone maybe sometimes even more
valuable than their own health than to
give them a child that makes sure that
their legacy and that their life lasts
forever. Any person that decides to
stick out their hand and give to a
giving hand and help families meet their
dreams, help young couples see
everything that they hope for. My to you
is that you will see all of your dreams
for you, for your children, for your
family, and all of the that you're
trying to give other people. Hashem
should shower tenfold to you.
