A Day of Charity, for Security - December 20, 2017

hi I'm Maury Litwack the executive director of the teach advocacy network [Music] they were running are keeping our schools safe campaign a campaign to keep all of our schools safe through increased advocacy at the state and local level for government funding or are you Shiva's and our day schools do to increase threats and the tremendous demands on our schools to provide the best security for our kids now more than ever we need this funding to support our advocacy efforts for our schools and for our children we are a national organization fighting in state and local government for increased funding for non-public schools with a particular focus of helping achieve azande schools one of the areas that we've focused on over the past few years is the issue of increased security aid for our schools and that effort this coming year will result in over seventy five million dollars being allocated to the states we operate this funding includes forty million dollars in Albany 20 million dollars in New York City over eleven million dollars in funding for security in New Jersey over two million dollars in funding in California and brand-new funding and legislation for security in states like Maryland and Florida for the very first time your support and your donation today will be used to help increase our voice in the halls of government but it says state or local local governments and to elected officials so they know that security funding for Aria shiva's and our day schools is critically important [Music] help us reach our goal of raising $250,000 every dollar will be matched we need your support please join us and make our campaign success you [Music]
