[Music] we started with probably two or three therapist top I think we started only with occupational and speech therapy and from there we went into Physical Therapy but originally it was two therapies and I would say probably we had a handful of children from there obviously we grew to where we are today Bridge was started because after 10 years as a school we recognized that things were shifting in terms of what the parents wanted and how to best help the community and the children and how can we do that best we first of all changed the name to bridge because we wanted to show that we were Bridging the small Gap that children had needed by some therapies that would make them 100% And we said look let's take a space and make it outstanding now we're 10 years later but we started with a couple of therapists we have 15 in staff today we're in all the major shot on the Jersey Shore we're servicing almost 200 children they're mainstream students they're going to be great in life but why not give them that Ed that helps them overcome a deficit early in life to excel what we've seen is so many students that we have helped and gone back to the mainstream and seen the success that they were able to have because they got the help they needed the schools are seeing that the schools are referring so many more students and recognizing that strong Partnership of what we're providing to help them succeed as a school my youngest son was born at prey and he had a a few delays in a few different areas he needed PT OT speech at the time I used to have to drive to hlit 45 minutes away for one therapy when Bridge opened connected to the school and they were able to take my child out of the classroom and speak to his teacher and see what the you know the teacher's input and of course my input they would pull him out of class and he always looked forward to it he felt like a million bucks I could see that he felt very loved there and he felt very comfortable he's 10 years old now and you would never know in a million years that he ever had any type of therapy he's thriving I'm so grateful to bridge for everything they did for him and for me if anybody has anything that they even considering do they need do they not need should I shouldn't I it's like a no-brainer all it does is help the child in so many ways I'm just so grateful for everything they did I am a mom of four uh two of my kids have used the services of bridge my son when he was young had a little bit of difficulty with uh frustration tolerance and um handling disappointment so I reluctantly on the school's suggestion um agreed to go through bridg links and get some social behavioral therapy and it's probably one of the best decisions I ever made in my life um he went from crying when he didn't get his way to a few years later me crying when he got discharged from therapy because he was able to manage each situation functionally bridge is just a core in the Square between the student the parent the teacher and Bridge our secretary come and ask us when pulling out the student will impact them the least so that every student is missing out as little as possible from school to communicating with parents where a therapist might come in and see a need and then communicate that with the parent and be a leas on between all of us now that we're at the 10year anniversary which is a milestone for us we are growing by the day with hashem's help and we need you more now more than ever to put us over the top we owe so much to the community for entrusting in us to help us grow to be who we are today I'll close by asking you to invest in the future of our community by investing in our most prized possession our children this year alone we're servicing almost 200 students I think we have a future together the thing we need is your finan support that all the children and our yeshivas here on the Jersey Shore will have everything they need to let them go through life confident and successful as they can be let's partner together help every child receive the therapy B
