reason of why we're going to BM start a new series today um just had a couple of hours ago the uh idea to start a new series even though we're doing questions and answers I'm finding it that every week I'm the ones that's asking questions and answering the questions so maybe if we do a little bit of uh something new uh to switch things up a little bit uh but also uh something that all of us trust in hem then that is simply the only excuse that's necess necessary for a person to leave everything that's holy and connect to all the uh rationale that he has in order to desecrate aem's name while thinking he's doing a Mitzvah uh and this is the reason why a lot of people fail uh so I think that uh learning a little bit about is very important but we're going to do it a little bit differently than some of the other sh we're going to do a little minseries I don't know how many lectures it's going to take but we're going to do a minseries uh which is based off of a section of the different sikim put together many times they're actually the best stuff you'll find and the reason why is because the people that put together all of this stuff first and foremost if it's put together this way that means it's free if it's free it doesn't mean it doesn't cost anything it means that they care enough to go gather the money however way that they possibly can to get you the most critical information that you need in order to survive the day so if they know they don't have a big budget they're not Microsoft they're not Google they're not Apple they're just the instruction set for an iPhone cost more money than some books the instruction set said for the iPhone that you get that everybody throws in a garbage cost more money than you buy books on ars.com or Feld or something no one looks at it you throw in the garbage but but uh if you look at if you go try and replicate it go try replicating one of these instructions set of Microsoft Office or of a uh Apple products or Google any of these companies you'll see that it'll cost you15 $20 and if you're buying in bulk eight $9 but you throw in the garbage theim that are putting together some of these books they don't have $8 to put together for for one book why because then if it's $8 per book what are they going to print 2,000 3,000 what are they going to print 500 it's very hard so you have to get TR something for as cheap as possible but now cheap do you want to make sure that this cheap actually goes a long way why because you have only one opportunity to gather to GA grasp the person's attention so you're going to have to to put the best stuff on it so anyone that pays attention to these little pamphlets sometimes you'll find some really really good stuff and one of the best things that I've actually ever found is actually this bet this bet is a fantastic translation first of all very good job in translating but two it's a specific section that everybody can use a little bit of on but the it'll get upset at you so then the person asked me and I said well question is does the owner allow anybody else to listen to whatever they want during the job like if they want to listen to music or they want to listen to sports or they want to listen to I know comedy are they allowed to listen to it because he's in uh in a computer business he uh does all types of programming so it's not like a lot of communications with people it's a Communications with with computers so most of the people are into the designing the programs and so on and coding and uh he says no most of the people are listening to something uh news or music or something I said then you're allowed to listen as much as you want and just ignore this person that's telling you obviously don't tell them that you're listening to Torah just uh don't tell people your business same thing happened to me with another young woman that actually had the same problem unfortunately in her case it was a worst scenario why she worked in a Jewish office meaning office full of Jews office full of Jews and uh one of the people in the office bothered it bothered them that uh everybody else is listening to nonsense but she's listening to why because with me from London they'd be fine with it but if it's or that actually gonna get people to Doom we're not allow to listen to people like that because they'll change us gu to do what hasem wants so again you ask are you allowed to listen to anything else in this office if you're allowed to listen to anything else in the office then you're allowed to listen to the Tor but if you're not allowed to listen to anything else in the office then you're not allowed to listen to Tor why because the boss is not paying you to learn toah same thing with doing you know site projects or going to for lunch or smoking cigarettes all the different things that we do that we think it's it's not a big deal we have to make sure that the boss knows meaning you don't necessarily need to get permission from every single time but you need to know that this is permissible not he doesn't care it's permissible two different things he doesn't care doesn't necessarily mean it's permissible he doesn't care means that he has a lot of really important stuff to do that's much more important than micromanaging your schedule to find out when you're going in and out for cigarettes when you're going in and out and doing uh some of your own uh thing that you're doing over there that's why he doesn't care he's too busy with other stuff but he's it's permissible means that he says listen I already know that you're going to do certain things I already know that uh people are going to spend I don't know half hour a day smoking cigarettes an hour a day going to lunch I already know I'm taking into account and I'm still paying you the salary for that if he knows he's okay with it that's fine why because if you do such a thing and it's not permissible and you're just taking advantage of the manager's ignorance or business uh status is then that's considered stealing now why would somebody ever get to a point of being a keeps everything she keeps everything sadik everything is good but it's still a thief why how do we get to a point of being a thief how do we get to a point where somebody considers themselves sh Shabbat except that one time the one time they just got a upgrade on your uh job some promotion or you got married or something good happened in life it's very easy to say you everything is good the kids are grade in School one of them got married bash my wife is uh giving birth this that it's very easy to say bash it's also very easy to say when you're faking it too bad things are happening but you don't you don't really want to share it with anybody how you doing you really have a tragedy in your house right now I know everything is good but in reality you're crying inside you're crying inside but you don't want to share with this person cuz they're not that close to you you want you don't want to share with them to me you're that takes a lifestyle change that takes a lifestyle change now Shalom one time he heard that one of his students his main student came into town and he uh told sent the message get him to come to my house immediately it was a Friday afternoon they went got comes into the house and he writes he writes more than three and a half seconds to load most people meaning over 90% of people leave the website three and a half seconds when I was a kid you know in the days of anus we had something called dialup something called dialup dialup meant that you went to a you wanted to go to some place if whatever was actually available in those days there was barely anything actually available you yeah Prodigy AOL and whatever was AOL was offering you went to the website and all you had is to enjoy the that's the noise that your moto made for a good two to three minutes until you finally arrived at whatever destination you wanted and God forbid it's the wrong destination now you have to go to a different one but you had to enjoy the music of this this modem what kind of music I made for you back then it was normal 2 3 4 five minutes between web pages between Pages within the page it's normal today if you're not giving me a response right now within 3 seconds I'm out of here we order food do company say listen delivery within uh 25 minutes at 26 and A2 minutes we're already on the phone hey what's going on I ordered you you guys said 25 minutes it's late I can't believe it I'm paying top instantly like a website like a text message like an email you expect things to happen that way and you think that Hashem is going to dance to every one of your tunes guess what you will live a life of misery anxiety and you will never have an ounce of because doesn't work that way to get you have to get one of the most valuable traits there is for man kind which is called patience without patience you're not going to survive meaning you'll survive as a life but your life is going to be full of suffering from morning tonight you'll be suffering because nothing in the world will work based on the schedule that you wanted to nothing in the world work on a schedule that it should according to your understanding according to our understanding everyone is stupid everyone is slow everyone is this everyone is everyone is deficient that's the way it is why because you have some visual in your mind some type of idea in your mind that no one can live up to so unless you understand that Hashem is the one that's causing him to be slow him to steal him to run away him to hang up on you her to curse you all Hashem is the one that's managing all of this you're not going to be able to survive as a righteous person now this seems more like Hashem is taking away our Free Will so briefly we're going to go into details of all of this but to simply answer the question no Hashem never takes away free will the way it simply Works in a very very simplistic way is that AEM makes a decree whatever the decree is decide something is going to happen a certain person is going to make a lot of money lose a lot of money he decides whatever the case is after he decides and passes the stamp on a decree signs off on a decree then he decides which things which people people which uh Creations are going to contribute into implementing this decree so for example if it's let's say lose money lose money now the guy thinks oh lose money that's most likely means I'm gonna get fired no not necessarily in fact it could be the opposite in fact the guy could get hired by a better firm get a 500% raise and he thinks loves me I was aad last year here because second day after yum Kip I got a job offer 500% race from Google so the guy is happy he walks into Google he's he's excited he has a half a million dollar salary waiting for him all he's got to do is show up all you got to do is show up he thinks what a blessing in reality this year was decreed to be the opposite for him to lose a half a million dollars why whatever he did hasem decided but how is it going to happen hem will decide throughout the whole year of how this is going to happen where he could make a half a million dollars to the job but lose a million dollars to his Investments net net yes he made a half a million dollars on a job but he lost a million dollar on investments or vice versa the point is that now Hashem decided to implement but how is he going to implement the small details okay so one uh you know one broker that was the best broker in the world for 10 years all of a sudden became the worst so instead of making him a million dollars he lost him a million dollars or perhaps one deal that was going great for three four five years with some partnership all of a sudden the guy that he was partners with went crazy and decided to uh run away with some money another 100 he contributed 100,000 he contributed 500 he contributed everybody contributed a certain amount of the loss so why does Hashem pick those people because those people chose to do what they're doing meaning they also there's a decree on them but they chose to do something bad so for example if somebody stole from him out of the million dollars somebody stole 200,000 the guy that stole the 200,000 hasm didn't tell him you have to steal the guy that stole he decided to steal 200,000 says Okay since you're G to steal you decide to steal 200,000 steal from him steal from him why because out of all the people you bothered him that this kid is going so he got up out of his chair he goes hey kid no stop stop you you look ridiculous you're going to embarrass your parents like this go sit down go play with the s the kid ignored him goes he goes kid what are you doing he goes I'm saying hi to the captain to the captain I'm saying hi he goes you know the captain captain is the most important person on the ship what makes you think that the captain is going to see you look for you and even care that you're even saying hello he says well Captain's my father so he's looking for me the captain's looking for me modest already has a very very big disconnect why because she's not valuing the gift that hasem gave her second thing is she causes his other children to sin now there's a very important when it comes starts playing games with people's money and this goes on for as long as he's able to continuously get new money in as long as he's able to continue get new investors money in the Ponzi scheme can go on for 50 years like Bernie ma off but as soon as the well dries up as soon as investors say no more or they want to take the money out Ponzi schem collapses in 24 hours now the guy that had a Ponzi scheme Bernie made for example but he didn't start off that way he didn't start off with like I have an intention to steal a bill $50 billion dollar maybe he wanted to do this maybe he want to do a
