I just would like to thank everybody for
coming today. Um, for the first time in
maybe 20 years, our bridal fund was dry
before today. We always, thank God, we
always have money to give out. All of a
sudden, we became dry. The amount of
weddings that are going on, thank God,
are beyond our comprehension. And the
more weddings there are, the more money
we need. Now, if somebody calls me and
says, "I need help with my wedding."
Fine. Where you making the wedding in
Charition? Sorry, can't help you. You're
making a $100,000 wedding and you want
money from charity. We can't do that.
So, we're talking about people that
really need it, that are really scrging
to make a wedding. Um, we made a hund we
helped 170 weddings this year. We spent
over $550,000
on these weddings. Andem they keep
coming and what can I say the more the
marrier. Um the rabbis tell us tell us
that one of the greatest mitzvah there
are out there is
helping a a poor bride. It can't be
anything more than that. We are not the
only bridal fund in the community. There
are about a half a dozen bridal funds in
the community. I don't know if we are
the biggest but we are from the biggest
bridal funds in the community. I would
love to give out a million dollars in
the next year, not $550,000,
but that takes work. I'd like to take
this opportunity to thank Eva Kerry
Hashimo,
who this was actually her brainchild
many years ago. How many years ago was
it?

millions of dollars in these years. And
we want to thank Eva and her team of
women who are here all year long.
Actually, all year long, they're
working. I have days where Eva walks
into the office with bags of change
here. This is from Kaport. Literally, we
have we could get donations as much as
bag of change or an anonymous donation
of $100,000,
but every penny counts. Is Mrs. Shalam
here? where
