Last week, we had an amazing time hosting @NJCDyachad, JUF, and @YOFHS at OU Headquarters for a fascinating presentation on the kashrut of birds, led by OU Rabbinic Coordinator, Rabbi Chaim Loike.🦅 We learned how to tell which birds are kosher, explored the halachot behind it, and even got to hold some of them!🐓 ⭐️Yachad: Promoting inclusion for individuals with disabilities in the Jewish community through social, educational, and vocational programs that foster belonging and growth. ⭐️JUF (Jewish Union Foundation): Providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on independence through vocational training, life skills, and community integration.
