A Moment to Save the World, Part 2

Parents rely on the Public School System to rear their children into mature, responsible adults. There, the children are imbued our country's sense of pride: "My own power and the strength of my hand have brought me my success." With this approach unchecked, they will ultimately use their education to achieve their own selfish desires. If, however, at the beginning of the school day, children are given a moment to reflect on the moral values which their parents instruct them, they will come to understand that the knowledge they are taught in school must benefiting others, even before themselves.
