We're back here on our Wednesday night
stump the rabbi. We're after some you
guys will ask some questions and will
give us the answers. Tonight's show is
going to be for the
and all of Israel and all the righteous
Noah's that continue to support our
organization whether it's by donations
by getting their friends to donate
family to donate by donating their time
and their skills.
Lots of people are uh looking to have
moreot before Msiah arrives before the
ultimate salvation and uh therefore
they're partnering up with us and uh
we're doing as much as we possibly can
and we're looking forward to doing much
more. Tonight
is going to be a very special shure
before the questions because it's a
shure that I think most people not only
wanted but most people love to talk
about this topic the issue of Msiah.
Now despite the lack of knowledge by
most people about the details of the
arrival of Messiah not a moment goes by
without someone mentioning that they
want Mashiach to come. Just an hour ago,
I got a message from someone and the
message ended with him saying, "Mashiach
now." And uh the reality is that this
person I already know from obviously the
other messages that he sent me that he
has no concept of what it actually means
for the Msiah to arrive. The truth is
that each and every one of us is going
to have a personalized road that we have
to go through in order to arrive at the
desired destination.
Balak is full of secrets of
about the eventual gula, the eventual
arrival of the Msiah, the eventual
salvation.
And tonight we're going to uncover a few
of these holy sparks within the parasa
in order to understand how to navigate
our own roads ahead.
Paradal
is an extraordinary para that tells a
story within a story within a story. And
really it all starts with last week's
para
where we see that before is went to war
with
Sikhon defeated Moav. How did Sikhon
defeat Moab? Because they used Bam.
Bilam ben P. He uh
used his witchcraft, his evil eye in
order to help defeat Moav and that's why
when uh Balak and the rest of Moab saw
that Am is coming close
they realize they need help especially
since
their former enemy that defeated them
was killed by the hands of Am so they
know they needed something more than
just weapons they needed more than what
they could ever imagine and therefore
they figured let's get the same weapon
they use to defeat us. Let's get Bam.
Now Bam
is a unusual character to say the least,
but
put every single detail in the Torah in
order for us to learn from it.
in order for us to learn the different
secrets of the Torah within the story
within the details
to such an extent that uncovered secrets
of the Torah based on the crowns of
every letter that's written on the uh on
the Torah. Each letter has a crown on it
and he literally discovered different
secrets of teachings of a Torah from
there.
Nabilam
was a vile, disgusting person, but
nonetheless,
he had communications with Hashem and
there's a debate among the whether he
was a prophet or was witchcraft because
how could such a disgusting person be a
prophet.
Either way, we've discussed a lot of
these details in past years and
different lectures. Anyone that wants to
know more details of the parasa and
different parts of it could just go to
our YouTube channel or our app and uh
just type in balak and you'll see the
para there. You'll see even more details
there. But needless to say,
Balak and Bam are characters that
give us details
of not only the eventual
discussion of the Messiah,
but also what does the road
that precedes it looks like? Not just
for the nation but for you individually.
For me individually, for each and every
single one of us.
Earlier today, one of my dear students
sent me a question.
question that is a very very relevant
question
about why is it that the tells us that
if you're going to insult
some really bad non-Jewish person,
don't do it next to a new convert
because the new convert, he just
converted a year ago, two years ago,
three years ago, he still has a care for
his uh former people even though he
became part of AmI. So the student
asked, how could this be? If he got a
new nama
when he converted or when she converted,
shouldn't they completely
lose all of those feelings they have for
their former nation?
And I told him that no, it doesn't work
that way because it's a gradual it's a
gradual path. Even though yes, Hashem
puts a brand new nishama
in their uh in their body,
if they follow the path and continue to
grow,
they will eventually get to that point
where
they will completely disassociate from
their past.
But you're not going to understand it
unless you've been in it or you have a
lot of experience with converts and
you've seen it firsthand what they go
through and what they
how they grow.
Unfortunately, how some of them don't.
But the good news is that it's very
similar to the path of a baluva.
someone that lived a secular life
and then decided after watching Hashem
took back his millions or one of Tikunit
or one of the other many other lectures
and films that we've made that they
decide that it's time for them to go but
in the path of the king in the path of
Hashem and Ducha
that person is not going to
automatically
abandon all of his sins abandon all of
the add character traits and overnight
become a sadikulam
a perfect sadik. No, it doesn't work
that way. It's a path. It's a road that
has bumps in it. But if he continues
pushing forward, little by little, he
will not only
abandon the past sins and desires, but
even get to a point where he gets or she
gets the greatest possible gift that
exists in this physical world, which
we'll discuss later.
Now what is this path that this convert
and this bound chuva have to take
in order to see Msiah
in order to see the ultimate salvation
is going to give us some of those
details.
The more we pay attention to them the
more we realize how personalized they
are regardless of who you are and where
you are in the world. If Hashem decided
that you're going to watch this, then
for sure this has a direct
relevance to you.
Balak sees that there's a threat called
am that's coming,
but he has this idea that he can beat
them. Why would he have this idea that
he could beat them if Sikhon
and his army defeated
Balak
and Am is defeated? He said, "No,
listen. I should just submit, become
their slave or simply just run away
and that's it or try to make peace."
No, I could defeat them.
Balak is called Balak Benipo because he
had a bird that he used for witchcraft.
And this bird showed him something in
the future.
What did he see in the future? He saw
that from him will come the Messiah.
How?
Balak was the grandfather of Ruth the
Moabitete.
And from her comes David and from him
comes the Messiah.
How could this possibly be? It all
starts with Lot, the time of Abramu and
his two daughters. But then you fast
forward to Balak. Who is this Balak?
Balak was actually one of the children
of it.
It sadik
went back to his nation in Midian
and converted everybody.
But Balak did not want to join Israel.
He hated Am. And he decided to run away.
He kept all of the treasures, all the
money that had because of course the
people went against after he decided to
go uh with uh with the Torah. Balak was
in a perfect position
to become a leader.
But now that he has an enemy at his
doorstep,
he should be scared. But he's not. Why?
Because through his witchcraft, some say
that he had a a uh a certain vision
during one of his dreams where showed
him that the Mashiach will come from
him.
So he figured if Mashia is going to come
for me, if the vid is going to come for
me, then surely I'm going to defeat this
nation. But I need something
supernatural.
What am I going to get? I'm going to get
Bam.
Because Bam is the prophet of the
nations
in comparison to Mosheu
is
in fact say that Belak's
powers were so great that had he used
them for good he would even have things
that Musheru didn't have.
So Balak sends messengers to Bilam
and Bilam
tells him initially that he can't come
because
Hashem said no.
Of course, Balak rejects this, sends
messengers again,
and this time with a very enticing offer
that I'll pay you whatever you want.
And Bam again
speaks to Hashem
and Hashem tells him
unlike the first time where he told him,
"No, don't go. This is a you can't curse
this nation. You can't curse Israel.
They are my people. They're special. Bam
asks again because Bam represents the
the Satan
and he in essence just like Mushen who
was married to the Bil was married to
the Satan's wife.
That's why he had to do all these
disgusting things like marry his donkey.
But that's something we'll discuss in
the future perhaps.
Anyway,
Bam
talks to Hashem again and Hashem tells
him, "You're going to go,
but know this that I will decide what
comes out of your mouth."
He goes on his donkey, his aton,
and he's on his way.
And as soon as he's on his way, the
angel of Hashem
appears,
but only the donkey sees it.
The donkey is scared. It sees an angel
holding a sword.
Tries to go around it.
Bam says, "What are you doing?" Hits it.
Then he tries going the other direction,
crushes
Bilam's leg against the fence. Bam hits
it again.
Then the angel appears right in front of
the donkey.
And the donkey knows that he can't go
anywhere. So he decides to just sit and
Bam hits him again.
And at that moment
there's a famous verse
and Hashem opened the mouth of the
donkey and yes the donkey spoke.
Sages teach us this was one of the 10
things that created on the period of the
first six days of creation between
Friday and Shabbat.
This donkey spoke
and tells to Bam,
"Why'd you hit me these three times?"
And Bilam is not surprised at all that
the donkey speaks, even though it's the
first time he's ever heard the donkey
speak after having it for many, many
years.
He's not surprised.
He starts talking back to it.
I hate you because you uh you mocked me.
You didn't listen to me.
If I had a sword in my hand, I would
kill you.
A donkey responds to having a whole
dialogue.
How could you say that? Am I not your
she donkey? meaning your wife where
you've written upon me all your life
until this day
during the day during the night meaning
that at night we slept in the same bed.
Did I ever go against you? He says no.
And then after that
the
angel of Hashem
is shown to Bilam. Hashem opens the eyes
of Bilam and he's able to see the angel
of Hashem. This is not Hashem himself.
This is an angel that in essence is a
messenger of Hashem.
And he now can see why the donkey
was acting so strange.
And the angel rebukes Bilam. Why did you
hit her?
If she would have continued, I would
have actually kept her alive and killed
you. Meaning the donkey just saved your
life.
So now the first thing we have to
understand
is how is it possible that Bil
is not amazed by everything that's
happening? I mean, we're just hearing
about it here today after we've read it
many, many times. And every single year
you think about it, and it's amazing.
A donkey speaking. An angel of God is
appearing. How is Bilam not Whoa. How is
it happening? Soon as the donkey starts
speaking, why did you hit me? Oh, you
speak. I'm sorry. I didn't know.
You speak different languages, too. Do
you have any brothers? You have sisters?
Is there like a whole group of you that
speak? What do you want to talk about?
Maybe we should go back home and we'll
have a whole conversation. Like, you
know, like the donkey speaking for
heaven's sake. No, Bam. He is not
impressed at all.
At all. Nothing.
How could that be?
As my dear Rav taught me
Bilam
fell to such depths of tumah with all of
the sins and the filth that he was
dealing with that he got to a point
where he no longer saw any difference
between him
and the donkey.
He didn't see any difference
to him.
The donkey and him are the same thing.
So I talk, the donkey talks.
This is our first clue.
This is our first clue
to not only address the question that my
student asked about
the convert, the bal, but also it's our
first clue
of the path
to prepare ourselves for the path before
Mashiach arrives. You see
the vid tells us
the goel the messiah is going to arrive
in order to bring salvation to those
that used to be criminals against God.
Meaning the Messiah is not going to save
everyone.
The Mashiach is not going to bring
blessings to everyone. He's not coming
here to pay everybody's debt. He's not
come here to
tell you, listen, start keeping Shabbat
and I'll come back in another few
months. If you're doing it, then I'll
save you. No. Once the Msiah comes, game
over.
Now, there's two periods that the sages
are pet petrified of.
One, the day of death that will happen
to every single person at some point or
another.
two, the arrival of Messiah. Why?
Because both of them represent
an end of opportunity to do chuva,
an end of opportunity to change your
life around.
If a person dies
and he's Jewish and he did not keep
Shabbat, he did not keep the laws of
that person is not going to get any
reward for his sins. The opposite. He'll
get punished severely beyond
comprehension which we've discussed in
previous lectures and even have multiple
films about Gomafa
and so on.
So if a person dies without doing chuva
they're a lost cause
they have to suffer
and the suffering is like the damage
that they cause with their sins endless.
On the other hand,
if a person is merits
to live at the time the Mashiach comes,
which is the time we're living in right
now, and Mashiach arrives
at that moment, Mashiach judges
everyone.
And as the prophet says,
with the breath that comes out of his
mouth, he's going to destroy the wicked.
Who is the wicked? Those that went
against the Torah.
drove on Shabbat, adultery, you know,
cash advance business, idol worship, you
know, the whole list.
So once Mashiah comes, the people that
have not done chuva, have not stopped
all of their perversions,
they're not going to be happy to see
Mashiach. In fact, that will be the
worst day of their life and the last day
of their life
in this world at least.
So
if a person wants to have
the opportunity to arrive at the right
and the desired I should say destination
whether it's the time where they
eventually die or the time of Msiah
whichever one happens first
there is a path there is a road to take
and Balak gives us what this path looks
like one way or the other.
It starts off by telling us that Bam
did not see any difference between
himself and the donkey.
That is
a bal chuva that just started. That is a
convert that just started.
He just wants to convert. He hasn't
really converted yet.
He's in his beginning stages. He's a new
chuba. He watched one of our lectures,
got shock of his life. Okay, I'm going
to start keeping I'm going to start
keeping Shabbat. I'm going to start
keeping kosher. It's not so hard after
all. I'll even go to shul a few times a
day.
I'll watch your lectures, Rabbi. Okay.
So, I'm good. Yeah, for now you're good.
But, uh
is multiple steps. One is stopping the
sins. Two is
structuring your life in such a way
where you're not enticed to go back to
the sin. Meaning, don't hang out with
the same types of people. Don't do the
same types of things.
Just like if somebody is trying to stop
being an alcoholic, you can't invite
them to a wedding with alcohol or a bar
and expect them not to drink. So you
have to design your life in such a way
that you're not going to be enticed to
sin. And step number three is regret.
Regret the sins. Now when a person first
starts going on the path of the king,
going on the path of the Torah,
step number three doesn't make any
sense.
Regret. What do you mean regret? Rabbi,
you want me to regret that I went to the
casino and I won $100,000? Yes. Rabbi,
you want me to regret that I was with
that girl and we had a lot of fun? Yes.
Rabbi, you want me to regret that? Uh,
I did all types of things that the Torah
forbids, but I had a lot of fun. I
enjoyed it. It tasted good. The pig was
delicious. The non-coosher meat was
delicious. The shrimp, I love it. It's
my favorite food. You want to regret
that? Yes.
How? I like it.
The only reason I'm not doing it right
now is because the Torah says not to.
Not because I don't like it. Exactly.
Step number three
doesn't make sense to you right now.
That's why step number three.
In the beginning of chuva,
a person does not see the difference
between himself and the donkey. Meaning
he sees
his friends the day before Chuva, the
day before he started changing
everything. The day before she decided
to start walking around modest,
she saw her best friend. She saw her
boyfriend. She saw her girlfriend. She
saw all those people. She hugs and
kisses them. She loves them.
She's my best friend.
The day after they decided to make a
change in their life
and they run into one of their friends,
one of their family members, one of
their colleagues
that's continuing to go against Hashem,
but they decide to go a different path.
When they see them, what do they do
still? They hug them, they love them.
Yeah, it's my best friend. Yeah, we grew
up together. Yeah. meaning
they don't see that there's a difference
between them
and those that are at as of this point a
completely different species.
They're going like the donkey
acting like animals.
But the bouva, the convert doesn't see
that. He doesn't just one day wake up
and sees his brothers, his parents, his
best friends all of a sudden, oh yeah,
they're all idol worshippers and uh
they're all uh wicked people. No, he
doesn't see that.
He just sees himself as someone that is
choosing a different path.
Perhaps there'll be good coming out of
it.
So when you see somebody that just
started doing chuva
or just converted, don't expect them to
have the same
understanding
of what is the proper scafa, what is the
proper attitude
towards the rest
of the secular world of the idolatrous
world of the heretical world. Don't
expect him to be in the same boat as you
if you've already been doing it for 10,
20, 30 years.
Why?
He's still there with the donkey not
seeing any difference. He just chose a
different path.
Only after a person
has abandoned the path for a long amount
of time
does he start recognizing there is a
difference. And that's the next section.
Paradalak says that after
Bam arrived at Balak's place.
Bam tells him, "What took you so long?
What you think I can't respect you?"
Says to him, "Listen, I'm here now.
I'm here
and I can only say what uh Hashem allows
me to say."
Okay, fine. Whatever.
go uh do your thing and uh curse amb
altars.
Bring me seven bulls and seven rams.
And to
both and Balak's dismay,
he can't curse them. Just like Hashem
promised,
you're not going to be able to do what
you want to do. You're only going to say
whatever I want you to say.
And what does what does Bam say? What is
his first prophecy?
His first prophecy is our second step.
He tells
Balak, "I can't curse them. How could I
curse? God is not cursed.
How could I be angry? How could I anger
him? He's not angry."
This is a side note is one of the 10
remembrances that Hashem specifically
did not allow Bilam's
tool to punish his enemies to work
as he knew exactly the moment that
Hashem judges the world but on this day
it didn't work.
And then
Bam says
instead of a curse on he says behold
this Jewish nation it's a nation that
will dwell in solitude and not be
reckoned among the nation.
It's unique. It's not like everybody
else.
And that doesn't only tells a story but
also tells us the second hint of the
chuva process, the conversion process,
the path that we all have to take in
order to arrive at the destination that
we want to arrive to when Mashiach
arrives,
which is in the beginning.
Although
the donkey may be your friend,
you chose a different path, but you
didn't necessarily see the donkey as
different than you.
You're just making a different decision.
But the second step after you continue
in this path of learning Torah doing
at some point a person wants to elevate
themselves.
And what ends up happening is that the
more you elevate yourself by learning
more Torah, doing more mitzvot,
applying more mous to your life, the
more you see yourself in solitude. Even
if you're surrounded by people, those
same people that you grew up with, that
you're friends with, that you're family
with, all of those donkeys,
not donkeys cuz we're insulting them.
Donkeys because people that are acting
like animals, it's just fulfilling their
desires.
When you started, you saw no difference
between the two of you. But now after
you've done chuva for some time, six
months have passed that year has passed,
you're doing you're learning a few hours
a day, you're eating only kosher, you're
making blessings before you eat, after
you eat, you wash your hands before,
after. Your life is very different. All
of a sudden, you feel alone. You're in
solitude.
You've elevated yourself to the point
where you feel lonely.
Even if you're surrounded by all those
people,
you may feel miserable at that point.
But it's good news. It means
you've arrived at the second stage
of the path to salvation.
After that,
Bam
goes and tries to curse Am
instead of cursing them
he ends up blessing them
again.
Balak gets angry at him. What have you
done to me?
And Bam responds
in chapter 23 verse 19.
Bam gives
an amazing response
to Balak
and at the same time gives us
another
spark of that is exactly what we need
today. What's the next step?
Bam says, "God is not a man that he
should be deceitful, nor a son of man
that he should relent. Would he say and
not do or speak and not confirm?
Behold, to be to bless, I have received,
he has blessed, and I shall not
contradict it."
So here he tells him listen you want me
to curse even if I want to curse it
doesn't matter whatever comes out of my
mouth it's the decision of Hashem but
for us in our path we started as donkeys
we then felt alone but we continued
continued learning to continue doing
continue supporting ku continue doing
but we still have anxiety
are we going to have enough money to
get a bigger house
once our family grows and our kids need
to go to school or their need their own
rooms
even though we can't work on Shabbat.
Are we going to be able to afford
yeshiva?
Am I going to be able to afford to get
married and pay for a wedding even
though I'm learning in in yeshiva all
day? All these amuna questions that
people have.
Once a person has already decided to
abandon the donkeys, has already decided
to overcome the loneliness
and continue learning to continue doing
mitzvot, at some point or another he's
going to be elevated again. But then
he's hit with new troubles. What are
these troubles? Amuna problems,
problems. having complete faith in a
kadosh and confidence in a kadosh to the
point where he or she realizes with 100%
certainty that everything comes from
Hashem. Now they may say no I believe
only in Hashem. They say that until
problems arrives at the doorstep.
And of course growing your amuna and is
a lifelong process but it is the next
step.
As B is said here, Hashem is not a man
that he should deceit. Meaning if he
promised you a reward for all the good
that you're doing that's following the
Torah, he's not a liar. If he said
you'll be okay,
you'll be okay. Why are you worried?
He's not the son of a man. He doesn't
need any middleman to be the messenger
like they believe in Christianity and
other false religions.
He would not say he would he doesn't say
and not do like people.
Meaning whatever is written in the
Torah, that's the truth. As I said last
night, there is the political right,
there's the political left, the secular
opinions, all of heretical opinions, all
of these different opinions that people
have. These are all man-made. Then
there's the Torah. The Torah is the
truth. The Torah is not a middle ground
because that would give any type of
validity or significance to the others.
No, everything else is a lie. The Torah
is the only truth that exists.
Now, a person
that has learned for a while, has grown,
now Hashem gives him the next test on
the path.
Yes, you've kept my Shabbat. Yes, you're
wearing modest clothes. Yes, you have
abandoned the life of the donkeys.
But now
I want you to start
learning
and training yourself to understand
that all you have to have faith is is
just Hashem.
Not your job, not your skill set.
And the more you trust Hashem, the more
kindness he gives you. As the Torah
says,
someone that has confidence in Hashem,
only kindness surrounds him.
How do you start off with? First,
understand that Hashem is not a man.
Therefore, he does not have limitations.
He doesn't lie. He doesn't say something
in a Torah and then contradict himself
and doesn't do it.
If he said that's what will be that's
what is
and the more a person
has bet
the easier his life is going to be
but that does not mean he's not going to
have test
that doesn't mean he's not going to have
test
but the third step of the journey
is
to work on your bet.
One of the
ultimate tests
that a person is going to get
in their battle against the Satan that
wants them to have no confidence in
Hashem. They'll be like a religious
person without a religion
where they do certain things. They take
certain actions. They go to shul, they
pray, they eat certain types of food,
but in reality their heart is somewhere
else.
That's the satan
fooling a person into thinking that
they're religious. Fooling a person into
thinking that they are going to heaven.
You absolutely must have.
But one of the ways that the Satan wins
is by making a person think that Hashem
has everything and therefore he doesn't
need anything from you. So why should
you take your hard-earned money and
support the Torah with it? Invest to
help other people do chuva just like you
did. Help other people abandon the life
of the donkey like you did. Why should
you do it? And not only that, okay, you
give, but why should you give 10, 20%.
That's a lot. How could you buy a bigger
house if you if you give 20% of your
money? How could you uh you know uh uh
grow your how could you retire? How
could you this? How could you that?
And is telling us
there's only one thing that you're
allowed to test me with is and that is
with your
with the money that you take out of all
of the income that you make and you take
that 10% and you invest it into
supporting Torah
that you can test me. What's the test?
If you give at least 10%
on a regular basis.
Hashem promises you
protection,
endless blessings,
and the gi
says that if you give 10%, Hashem
promises you that you're never going to
lose your money.
He didn't say this that uh you won't uh
go have ups and downs, but he said you
you're going to have protection
just like this group of rich people that
came to Rav Steinman after the collapse
of the market.
He said, "Listen, Rabbi, we gave a lot
of donations, but uh we we all lost
money." And Steinman says to them, "How
many of you gave masel? We gave we gave
millions but how many gibb how many you
gave 10% exactly? Oh no 10%. No goes
exactly you didn't have the protection.
You may have given a lot as far as
quantity but as far as relative to you
it wasn't 10%. Therefore you didn't have
the you didn't have the protection. And
then one of the rich people raises his
hand and says rabbi I gave 10%. And my
friends don't know but I'll do it for
the honor of the I'm actually I didn't
lose any money. So exactly what the
rabbi is saying in the name of Torah is
exactly what happened to me. I'm the
only one here in this group that gave m
and I'm the only one that didn't lose
money. And the gi says that someone that
gives which is 20%
is guaranteed to have wealth in this
life.
But the Satan is going to do whatever he
can to convince you that you shouldn't
donate that much. It's too much. only
donate from your smaller job. Only
donate from the small investment. Only
donate, you know, it's enough. It's
enough. You don't have to do the big
things.
But as the Torah says here, God is not a
man that he should be deceitful, nor is
he a son of man that he should relent.
If he said you're going to get rewarded,
that means you'll get rewarded. But if
you don't believe that, then guess what?
He's not going to reward you.
At the same token, if he rewarded you
now because you've been giving
and you say, "Listen, I gave I donated
$10,000 out of my $100,000, but now my
$100,000 turned to a million. For me to
give a $100,000 now, it's hard. So, can
I could still give$10,000?"
No. Hashem is not a man that you can
negotiate with. Only reason I gave you
the million is so you can give the
100,000
not so you could have a a million so you
can give the 100,000
and what he says is what he does.
So the more a person
wants to get closer to Hashem and have
the more they're going to be very very
particular to give myself without
looking twice and I've seen it with my
own eyes time and time again how much
blessing comes to the people that give
and support the Torah in accordance to
what the Torah says in accordance to
what the sages say
now person say yeah well it's not a
Torah obligation to give m without the
mikdash you're right it's not a Torah
obligation it's also not Hashem's
obligation to give you any blessing
either
it's only for people that want to have
the blessing
so you want to have the blessing you
give you don't want to have the blessing
don't give oh but listen but uh my
friend he's a rabbi and uh or he goes to
cola and He says, "Listen, I can give,
but I don't have to give that much." No
problem. Don't give. Give some. Give a
lot. That's all your decision. No one
should ever try to convince you.
You should convince yourself to give.
But since you don't believe, don't
believe. No, no, I believe. No, you
don't believe. If you believe, you would
have already given. People that believe
do. If you believe that Hashem is the
only power and he's the one that gave
you, there's no question. But if you're
starting to have doubts, that means that
the Satan is winning.
He's convinced you that you need to help
God.
So that's the third step
in the cha process. You abandon the life
of the donkey. You eventually feel alone
for a period of time, but then you start
getting closer and closer to Hashem
and
you start building.
What happens when you overcome the test?
The para continues
after the
third try to curse am
fails and instead Hashem has bil
give another blessing but this one is a
very lengthy blessing that includes
prophecy of Msiah
Bam says
All of a sudden, Bam is saying things
that wow, you wish your rabbi, your your
parents, your best friend, your the
biggest to you. Who? What do you say? He
says, "How goodly are your tents, oh
Jacob, your dwelling places, O Is
meaning
you didn't leave the life of the donkeys
or feel alone and miserable
or overcome the money test and beat the
contest for nothing." No. The more you
elevate yourself,
the closer you are to this
having blessing in your house,
having an amazing dwelling place. Not
just dwelling place, a place to live,
but a life. You're happy with life. You
wake up happy. You wake up happy. Even
if there's problems, ups, down, you're
happy. Why?
Because
the greatest gift
that a person can get in their process
of chuva is not a lot more money, a
bigger house, a wife, a husband, kids.
No, no, no. Those all good. We welcome
all the gifts that Hashem sends us. But
the greatest personalized gift that a
person gets
after he has overcome the test of the
donkey first stage the test of
loneliness second stage the test of bet
third stage
then
Hashem elevates that in
to now
they start
realizing
consciously and subconsciously
where they used to be. They start
realizing
that they were also the donkey.
It's not just their cousin. It's not
just their friend. It's not just their
No, no. They realize their past. They
realize what happened. But instead of
getting sad, oh, I made all these sins.
What I do? No. Now
this is the ultimate opportunity to
bless Hashem. Why? Because they realize,
look, despite me acting like a donkey,
despite me being filthy, full of tuma
and sins, akadosh
still accepted me because he knew that I
can get to this stage. He knew I could
overcome that test. He knew I could
overcome the second test. He knew it and
he let me in and he saved me.
Bahu let me in. If I was Akad, I
wouldn't let somebody filthy into my my
my castle.
But who loves me who has endless mercy
in this world
after this world is finished. That's it.
There's judgment. But in this world
gives us endless opportunities.
And in the beginning when you first
started the path, you did it because you
figured it's a better direction. Even
though you still enjoy going to places
that are forbidden
and eventually your lifestyle, even
though you still admired the sports
players, the movie stars, the rich and
famous, the all that stuff, you stopped
going because you wanted to elevate
yourself. It's not because you didn't
like it. It's because you wanted to
focus on this right path. But every time
you heard that somebody
made a lot of money, won a lot of money,
you were a little jealous. Why? Cuz it
could have been you. But after you've
elevated yourself further and further,
you pass the bet test
says I'm going to give you that first
ultimate gift.
You're going to feel the blessing. Not
just in the panas you have in the light.
No, you're going to feel where you
actually are. You're going to realize
how different you are from where you
used to be. Not just by action, not just
by the way you dress,
but who you are in your essence
to the point where you cannot believe
that used to be you.
You cannot believe the ultimate mercy of
akados
that he took you out of the filth you
were living in and now you're on the
you're on the path of the king.
How goodly are your tents
and guess what? This gift does not stop.
If you continue
elevating yourself, continue to pass
more and more tests, every so often,
Hashem will give you another piece of of
another piece of that is going to make
you realize not how much better you are
from where you used to be
when you first started. Rather
you looked at yourself 2 3 years in in
comparison to where you were in the
beginning you see wow big difference but
now five 6 years in
you don't look at when you started you
look at where you were four years ago
two years ago you look at last year you
start seeing significant difference
you start feeling different start
understanding different your mind opens
Your character traits soften.
You continue on this path. You're at 10
years continuing to overcome endless
obstacles, endless test from the Satan.
And guess what? Gives you another piece
of the sh
another piece is uncovered.
More
more blessings. And at that point,
you literally not only can't recognize
who this person was 10 years ago, 15
years ago, it seems like it's a previous
carnation. It's a different person. You
can't even recognize where you were at
year 9 versus 10. Why? That's how much
the blessing is.
But it doesn't come for free.
It doesn't come for free. doesn't come
easy because you have to keep going,
keep pushing, keep overcoming.
And one of the ways that does it as it
says in the paral
says to
this business deal of us didn't work.
Hashem has withheld from you, honor from
you.
He's saying it to him in the story. But
is saying it to us, you want to arrive
at this ultimate blessing, know this.
Once you get that blessing, I'm going to
do things to protect you. One of them
protect you from getting too much honor.
Why? Get too much honor. The that's an
opening for the Satan
to get you to start thinking that maybe
I can think for myself.
And literally the blessings that a
kadosh can bestow upon a person are
absolutely endless. Whether they're
starting off as a baluva, as a convert
or even somebody that thought they were
from enough their whole life but
realizes they have a long way to go
because they don't feel these blessings.
They don't feel different than where
they were 10 years ago. Yes, the feeling
of of of elevation is for every Jew, not
just the one that did chuvites. Even if
you born religious, you were born with a
keep on, you were born with tit, you
were born with pot
like somebody I know, you were born with
pot. And guess what? If you don't feel
that you've elevated yourself from one
year to the next, you don't have the
blessing. The blessing is not complete.
Why? You're supposed to feel it. Not
just know more information. Feel the
blessing. Feel the connection with
Hashem.
So nowadu
says
these blessings they'll keep getting
bigger and bigger. These feelings, this
connection to Hashem, this happiness
is going to continue growing. But if I
didn't protect you from the honor, you
could fall.
How?
Let's look at what the other side looks
like.
If a person thinks that, oh, I did
chuva, I converted, I'm religious for a
while already.
I don't need to exert the same amount of
effort as I did the first few years. I
can relax a little bit. I used to listen
to the rabbi every shure that he did.
Now I'll listen to once in a while. I'll
listen to some short clips. I'll read
some books here and there whenever I get
a chance.
That means the person thinks they've
done enough. And what happens to a
person that thinks they've done enough?
They start thinking for themselves.
And here
warns us
warns us where
says listen even though the curse did
not work on is I'm going to give you an
idea.
I'm going to give you an idea. I'm going
to give you some advice.
Why?
Because I know what's happening in
heaven. He had so much confidence that
he knows God already. He's done enough.
This unfortunately happens to some
people that think they've done enough.
They don't need a rabbi. They don't need
to listen to the rabbi or everything
that he says. They can just pick and
choose. Like when you go to the grocery
store and you decide what you want to
buy because that's what you need. You
decide what you need. People think
that's the same thing with Torah.
He starts listening to himself.
But unfortunately that's the downhill.
It's not uphill.
Thinking that you know enough you even
know what's happening in heaven. That's
downhill.
And that's what allows Amalik to attack.
And that's why
has
tell us the different nations what's
going to happen when Msiah comes. the
whole
the whole path, the whole road, the
whole war, everything. He says
there's going to be all types of
nations.
There's adome,
but adom has amalik. Yeah. Why could you
just say it's adome and is the same
thing? Goes, no, it's not.
Why is not
isav is adom
and amalik is his grandson?
What's the problem? Why isn't uh it's
the same thing. It's not. You see the
midash says in last week's para
that initially
is wanted to go
in the area of Adam and Adam says no
no
way
and says let's attack him says no you're
not allowed to attack them why I gave
them a blessing I gave them protection I
gave them their land you're not allowed
to attack
So that's confusing. Why? Because
we have a mitzvah to destroy them. So is
part of how could it be? You see in last
week's para
attacked us.
Attacked us. But it wasn't the first
time we got attacked by don't by Amalik
three times. One right after we left
Egypt.
Right after.
This was the first encounter.
Second time is when Amal came
in last week's para.
We had to defend ourselves.
But after the third time that Amal came
to attack us unsolicited, unin uh we
didn't do anything to them. Hashem says
until now AM was protected with the rest
of Adam. Now that they've attacked,
they've attacked you three times.
They've attacked you simply because
you're believers in Hashem. Now AMC is
different. Not only do they not have the
protection of the rest of Adam, but now
there's an obligation to destroy
Amalech.
obligation. They're the ultimate enemy.
They lost their protection. But even
though they lost their protection, you
have to destroy them. That doesn't mean
that I'm going to make them weak and
make it easy for you. You have to have
the merit to destroy and uproot this
nation. And that's why Bam says this
Amalecch is the head of all of the
nations. Most powerful of all the
nations.
They're the most powerful. They're going
to be the last enemy. We have to fight.
This applies to a person also
in your path of chuva. In your path of
getting closer to
you're going to have different tests. In
the beginning, it's abandoning a life
that you know is not in accordance with
the Torah. Then it's the loneliness and
reconfiguring your life.
New life, new address, new friends, new
this, new that. In the beginning, it's
knew nothing. You're alone. You have no
idea which way to go. But you continue.
The extent after that, it's having
complete faith in Hashem.
And as a person continues to grow
further and further,
at some point or another gives them a
big test. What's the test? He introduces
them to Amalik. Amale can come to them
in the form of a teacher that pretends
to be righteous. Amal can come to them
as an anti-semite.
Amal can come to them as some heretic.
I'm like come in different ways
if they have continued growing.
They continued pushing themselves to
serve Hashem even better and better
every day and continue increasing their
every day and then start inventing their
own ideas and picking and choosing what
they want to do and what not. If they've
continued elevating themselves
when comes you will have the merit and
the strength to destroy them.
But if notem
be a complete disaster. Person could
completely lose everything in a second.
Can convince them to become a complete
you have to have the merit to destroy
Amalik.
And that's why the last part of the
prophecy of bil that's telling us
he says you're all saying mashiach now
[Applause]
who are we are who is going to survive
when hashem imposes these says says,
he says,
"As you all get closer and closer to
Mashiach,
those bumps in the road, those tests
start becoming more significant." Just
like school in the beginning of the
year, you get easy tests, quizzes. Oh,
it's a 10 question quiz. Five questions,
20 questions. Easy. It's what we learned
But when you get towards the end of the
year,
what does the teacher say? All right,
we're going to have our final test. All
right, the 10 questions. No. How much is
it? 250 questions. You have three hours
to finish it. What? 250 questions? Yeah,
250. It's good. You uh you know how to
count?
says,
"Whoa, who will survive?
Who will survive?" You know who's going
to survive?
Those that didn't just get stuck on the
first path on the first donkey stage.
Those that didn't get stuck on just the
second stage when it came down to being
lonely and then they decided to go back
to their old friends. No, not even those
that had a little bit of amuna but
didn't want to push further. No, they're
not going to be in a good shape either.
It's those that continued elevating
themselves to the point where they got
the blessings, the kaduca. They got
elevated parts of their ina to the point
where they were able to fight Amalecch
face to face
and win because of the blessing that
Hashem gave them.
What about everyone else?
Who will survive?
It won't be those
that didn't complete the path.
So you seem
while everybody would love to think that
they're ready for Msiah.
The truth is not exactly that.
Now person can say listen God loves me
no matter what. You can imagine
that you're a kangaroo.
It doesn't turn you into a kangaroo.
You can imagine that Hashem loves you no
matter what. Doesn't mean anything.
God gave us Torah.
And the Torah tells us exactly who,
what, when, and how. Tells us what the
path is. Our sages
have literally lifted every stone in
order to figure out what is the will of
Hashem here and what is the will of
Hashem there under this condition under
that condition.
If you follow those that have toiled
over the Torah to know what the will of
Hashem is, then you'll have a direct
path to not only get to the salvation,
but to also
arrive at the desired destination.
But if you want to make your own path,
have all types of breaks, all types of
discounts, all types of shortcuts,
don't complain when the final
destination is not exactly what you
desired
and you're crying is not going to help
either at that time. It's like a person
that
the BBI said that some people that they
complain
and problems they bring to themselves.
like a person that
every day he would come to
the factory
work and then lunchtime and as soon as
he open his lunch bags a
get a sandwich with jelly and his
co-workers you know they have their
sandwiches he has his sandwiches every
day he's unhappy next day ah again jelly
I hate jelly already
co-orker like Listen, I'm not giving him
my sandwich. I got my sandwich. I don't
know.
The next week again, get the lunch. He
opens the bag. Ah, jelly again. I hate
jelly. So, one of the co-workers said,
"You know what? Tell him." He's like,
"Yo, listen. Uh, Steve." Yeah. Why? What
do you want? I'm I'm upset right now.
Why? Because of jelly? Yeah. I hate
jelly. Yeah. That's what I was going to
tell you. Why don't you tell your wife
to make you uh something else, not
jelly?
He says, "My wife doesn't make me the
sandwich." Oh, who makes your sandwich?
Says, "I do."
The fool makes himself the sandwich and
then he complains about it.
Says,
The stupidity of man causes him to go
against Hashem and then he complains
about Hashem for punishings.
The Torah tells us an exact path of how
to arrive at the desired destination.
That path
has different segments where you're
going to have to overcome the test.
This paras told us what those segments
look like. I am certain without a shadow
of a doubt that every single person
that's watching this identified
themselves where they are in which part
of the path or what they overcame.
That's because it's Torah of truth. It
applies to everyone.
The only question that's left is now
that you have this information,
which road are you going to choose to go
ahead?
This will give you
the desire
and understanding of why you need to go
in the path of Hashem. because the
blessings and the ultimate reward are
literally endless.
And may it be his will that we all
succeed
in welcoming Msiah with all of our
friends, family, beloved ones that we
have toiled to bring them to do chuva
because we have supported tua. We've
given shine, we distributed books, we
did everything we could. Some people
gave money, some people gave their time,
some people gave their expertise, but
you did everything you could as part of
your servitude of Hashem of going on the
path.
And you did not say, "Listen, I'll give
uh when I get a chance or when I feel
like it or when I'm in the mood or when
I get this." No, you push yourself. Why?
Because the servitude of hem requires
you to push yourself. It requires
sacrifice. The more a person sacrifices,
the more opens up gates for them full of
blessings that make them see that
whatever you sacrificed.
It was not only worth it, but literally
was small in comparison to the blessings
that a can give you and will end up
giving you if you do what you're
supposed to.
We all do
stick to the right path and get as many
people as possible to do the same thing.
So that way when the salvation finally
comes,
we're not going to have sad faces that
our uncle or cousin or friend or
neighbor is missing. He's not there to
welcome the mashia. Why? He's one of the
people that didn't go on the path. What
a sad day that would be.
The key is to get as many people as
possible to go on that right path as
soon as possible because once Mashiach
comes
clock is upe
took a lot of time and effort to study
for this lecture and I really hope that
you're enjoying it and really growing
with every word because I did. If you
liked it, if you're enjoying the
constant challenge from the Torah, then
please like, subscribe, and make sure to
share with the people that you care
about because you can end up changing
their eternity. Thanks again for
learning with me. And now back to the
lecture.
You guys can start asking some
questions.
Give me the answers.
You're I'm depressed. Yeah, you're
depressed because you are not feeding
your soul what it needs. You're only
feeding your body.
The problem when you eat food,
your soul does not get satiated from
food because your soul is spiritual and
requires something spiritual. So if all
you're feeding yourself is basketball,
football, money, girls, boys, toys,
trips, all of those different things
that may satisfy your body for a certain
period of time,
but your soul is not going to be
nourished. Why? Because your soul has to
be nourished by getting closer to
Hashem. How do you get closer to Hashem?
By learning Torah and following the
instructions of what it says to do. So
you're depressed not because your body
is not having fun playing basketball,
watching movies. No, your body is doing
the same thing it always did. Your soul
is miserable. Your soul is starving.
Start feeding it what the Torah says and
you'll see that you'll become happier
than ever,
even without all of the
basketball and football and the things
you
feed your body.
Yes, the Torah is the Torah literally
means instructions.
Torah is what instructions God gave us
in order to follow his will. There's
nothing. There's the written Torah,
there's the oral Torah. In order to
understand the written Torah, we need
the oral Torah because we cannot
understand the laws of, let's say, for
example, Shabbat,
God tells us that there's 39 laws, but
the written Torah doesn't say what the
39 are. And yet 12 times in the Torah,
God says that if we break Shabbat
intentionally, then it's death penalty.
So obviously, we need to know what these
rules are. There's a lot on the line. So
the oral Torah, which is the Talmud, the
Mishna,
that is where we get explanations for
everything that's in the written Torah.
And of course there is explanation to
the explanations as far as what the
details of the laws are which is the
but the point being is the Torah has two
parts as the Torah has the oral Torah.
Now the problem is when people do not
understand the significance of this
unity of how they are one. The oral
Torah and Torah are one. They choose to
pick one over the other. Like somebody
told me uh was it yesterday or today
that he chooses to just follow the
Torah. There's I've heard this before
and each time I respond the same way
that there's literally not many people
that are bigger fools than you for
thinking for for thinking that that's an
option
because you're not even able to read the
Torah without the oral because the vowel
system in Hebrew is part of the oral
Torah. And if you're going to say,
"Well, no, I'll take that." Wait, so
you're choosing which part of the oral
Torah you're going to take and which
part not?
And then people end up in even different
religions saying no, we have the Torah
and then we have uh something else. We
have a new testament but this is not
from God. This is from people man-made.
It's full of mistakes. It contradicts
the Torah. So a person has to understand
that there is a very very clear
instructions that Hashem gave us on
Mount Si. It's both the Torah and the
oral Torah. And the more a person
understands
what it says and how it applies to their
life and actually applies it to their
life, the happier they're going to
become, the more successful they're
going to become in life.
In life. And at the end of the day,
that's what every person desires. They
desire not a lot of money. They desire
success.
Success to one person is different than
success of another. If you ask people
that are interested in the um in the
investment business and investing in the
stock market or or things like that,
then who is the best investor? They'll
tell you things like a uh Warren Buffett
or or other historical figures that uh
that made a lot of money. But the
reality is if you look at the personal
lives of every single one of those
people that are extremely popular,
you'll see that they were miserable.
They were horrible. Many of them ended
up committing suicide.
So a person has to understand that
success in life is not necessarily a
dollar sign. Success in life is getting
to a point where you're completely
happy. You're completely connected. Why?
because you have a purpose that is in
line and synchronized to the purpose of
what Hashem gave you. It's not a purpose
you're reinventing every few years when
you get bored. It's a purpose that
Hashem gave you. So the more a person
follows the Torah, the more they're
going to understand their purpose in the
world.
The difference of my uh of my old me and
the new one
is I believe only peace can dissolve
evil.
Uh well, you could believe whatever you
want, but it's
you cannot the Torah doesn't say you
have peace under all conditions. We have
laws of war. there's an obligation to go
to war with uh certain people. Rabb says
that we have to study Torah with
happiness and if we don't we will
eventually hate it. What is the best way
to bring joy to myself when preparing to
study? I'm not really sure where you
read that you have to study Torah with
happiness. You have to perform Hashem's
mitzvot with happiness. You have to
serve Hashem with happiness. But
studying Torah is not necessarily always
uh something that a person is uh excited
to do because they have an evil
inclination. There's a famous story of
one of the bahim in the yes is yeshiva
uh came to the uh stip saying listen
rabbi I don't know what to do uh I don't
feel like studying and the stipler said
to him I don't feel like studying either
but we don't do what we feel like in
this world we do what Hashem says so sit
down and study come on we'll study
together and that's it that was the
solution people think that you're
supposed to enjoy everything have fun
everything at all times no the enjoyment
of the Torah The sweetness, what they
call the sweetness of the Torah is what
Hashem gifts you as a reward. But as far
as learning Torah, it's toil. It's
difficult and it's overcoming
all of the obstacles that will
eventually
allow you to receive the sweetness of
the Torah, enable you to receive the
Torah, the sweetness of the Torah. So,
it's not a uh just because uh you want
to do it, therefore it's going to be
easy or uh just because it's Torah it's
going to be uh you know uh you know
something that you enjoy right away. No,
there's going to be certain sections
uh that uh are going to be completely
you know something you don't even like
or don't understand or both. There's
going to be certain times where you're
not going to feel like it. There's going
to be all types of things because
remember the way to destroy the Satan is
by learning Torah, by following what the
Torah says. And therefore, the Satan
fights tooth and nail in order to stop
you from learning Tawa. So, it'll give
you every obstacle under the sun to stop
you. Whether it's giving you car
trouble, family trouble, money trouble,
distractions, everything and anything to
stop you from learning Tawra. So
learning Torah is uh is not something
that uh is just uh you know go in there
and uh it's going to be a piece of cake.
It doesn't work that way. You have to
fight for it.
Is it best to learn Torah in Hebrew or
in English? If you're understanding
Hebrew like you understand English, then
read learn in Hebrew. But if your first
language is English, then learn in
English.
The key of the Torah is to understand
it, not just to make sounds.
What would the best lecture? What would
the best first lecture for someone
someone's Christian parent to watch on
your channel? The movie called Hashem
Took Back His Millions.
Rabbi, I've noticed that time is
progressing faster and faster. Shabbat
feels like it's every other day now
compared to six months ago when I
started doing chuva. Is this part of the
test? Uh yeah, I mean it depend it
depends how you're spending your time.
And if you are learning a lot of Torah
and you're full of mitzvot all day, then
yes, it seems like a uh time is a uh uh
passing and you're looking forward for
Shabbat. But if you're uh spending all
of your time uh working and uh you know
and there's not much Torah that also may
seem like uh things are moving fast
because things are speeding up in the
world. Things are changing very
frequently. But again it depends how
you're uh
how you're spending your time. The key
is how does it affect you? Is it affect
you in a positive way or a negative way?
If it makes you feel better, feel closer
to Hashem, then certainly it's a
blessing. If it makes you feel like
you're always behind, you're miserable,
you never have enough, then it's
obviously the opposite.
Is Kabad a good thing or a bad thing? It
depends. It depends who in Kabad. Kabad
is uh is not comprised of one person and
one opinion. There are some people that
are great that are part of Kabad and
there are some people that are the worst
people on planet earth. But uh you have
to you know understand what uh what the
Torah says in order to determine which
one is good which one is bad
as an overall teachings of Kabad over
the years the foundation the
um you know in general it's great it's
wonderful it's holyim
but just because that's what the
foundations of kabad is does not mean
that every person that calls themselves
a kabadnik
is actually following those teachings. I
mean a prime example is a manis freeman.
He claims to be a kabadnik and a
representation of kabad. But in reality,
he's not not only not an representation
uh not a representation of kabad, he is
not a representation representation of
Judaism.
He created his own religion.
So uh as far as uh whether kabad is good
or bad, it depends what your
understanding
or what you know of kabad is who you're
encountering. If it's the good side,
then it's good. If it's the manice one
or the heretic side, then it's not
the original kabad. Yeah, of course.
What is the true kabad? The true kabad
is the based on the teachings of it
starts off all withid of the baltov and
later on he is grandson the the balana
u and kabad teaches us number one that
you're expected to complete the ram's
mishnet each year that's an enormous
amount of effort and knowledge and and
and toil uh which means you have to not
just read it but comply with it. So just
understanding how much you have to
follow just for
there's an enormous amount of
beautiful in there that the average
person
does not even uh understand that they
that it applies to them. So also says
that you have to learn
uh you have to uh learn
not just no even the oravi nobody just
learned the tanya or just the labavbi's
uh uh secret
you learn the foundation where where did
the labavbi or the valata
where did they get their information
from their own from their own book? No,
they got it from the sages that came
before them. Which sages? Like I said,
the oral Torah starts off with the
Mishna and the
when you say the word Talmud, it in
essence combines two things. Combines
the Mishna and the But the point is is
that that's the foundation of the oral
Torah. So a Judah does not learn.
They can call themselves Kabad. They can
call themselves Pikachu. They could call
themselves eagle. They can call
themselves whatever they want. But
they're not representing. Why? Because
in order to be part of you have to have
so even if you tell me listen
all day he studies the of the Rebi
wouldn't approve of it. Why? Because the
Rebi didn't just teach from himself. He
taught from what the says. He taught
from what the Rambam says. He taught
from uh a uh you know endless parts of
the Torah that he understood. So when a
person only learns one part of the Torah
then they're lacking they're lacking
significantly.
So
in general is to do more than the
obligation. So we have all of Am is
whether it's Safari, Ashkenazi,
uh Yemenite, whoever, all of Amis is the
uh the rules the the uh 613.
We have uh even though the
has which is the extra uh uh
customs and different uh uh sucks that
the uh the bala
did which but generally speaking there's
not a wide variance and difference
between the and the and the like people
think it's like two different religions
or two book. No, no, this it's
a foundation for and before that it's of
course the Rambam. So the point is that
a person that does not learn the laws,
does not learn is not going to know how
to be a Jew. So they could grow a beard
that grows for free. They could put a
keepa even double the size of mine if
they want. But that does not make them
kabad, that does not make them a even a
uh a religious Jew. In fact, what is is
to do above and beyond the law. Meaning,
you know that the obligation is the
if you want to be aided, you have to do
even more than that.
As a simple uh uh example, the average
Jew has to keep Shabbat 25 hours, you
keep 26.
The average Jew uh could uh drink kosher
milk. You drink only is
and all types you have to as aid you
have to do above and beyond your
obligation. That's what isn't
invented from nothing you know couple
hundred years ago. Is already part of
our Torah from the beginning. You see
the uh talk about you see uh uh the
mention but the point is is that the
average person out there defines by
exterior garments.
How a person looks like, what kind of
suit they wear, how they uh uh groom
their beard,
you know, whether their wife wears a wig
or not. That's how people determine
whether they're or not today. But that's
not what uh that's not what is. So the
real kabad is real
which is foundation is on learning to
but even the
rebi of the the uh the not the last one
the seventh one the sixth one
his father-in-law he wrote a letter
himself that you know rebuking
people that call themselves kabadnik but
in reality they're they're not
kabadanics they're just they're defining
their uh theirh uh uh
um connection to kabad just simply by
having fragans and uh and uh dressing.
He says no, it's all based on it's all
based on.
So if a person is prepared to do above
and beyond the uh the law the the
responsibility and the obligation of
every Jew and they want to do even more
than that then sure that's great part of
it's even more but if they're not even
willing to do the basics
then not only are they not
they're not even a kosher Jew.
So person has to understand what they're
what what they call themselves and what
they get themselves into before they do
it and not just uh make rules as they go
along.
Why do we have sex? Uh there's different
customs. There's a uh traditions that
came uh from different parts of the
world. The Jews uh have been in the
exile for the last couple thousand
years. Uh and some even went to the
exile even before like for example the
Ethiopians.
They already went to Ethiopia already at
the time of the beta mikdash. The rest
of the Jews were dispersed all over the
world uh after the destruction of the
beta mikdash. Some went to you know
different parts of uh Europe. Some went
to uh Asia, some went to you know Middle
East and in those places they developed
specific customs,
specific customs, specific foods. Now
the basic fundamental law is the same
for everybody. But the customs are based
on you know where they lived and you
know on what conditions under what
conditions they lived. Like for example
the whole um a uh
ala that they have that theim
do not eat rice on pes even though rice
is not
the
at the end of the I believe it's uh page
114b
if not 115 specifically says that uh
rice is not kits but that if you ask an
Ashkenazi Jew to eat rice on Pesak,
they're going to look at you like you
have two heads. What are you talking
about? We were not allowed to eat it.
Why? It's not the itself says it's not.
No, no, it's Kametz for us. Why? That
all came from the conditions they lived
in years ago. there was such poverty in
Poland and Russia and different parts of
of uh Europe
that one of the ways they could conserve
and is is by using the same sack for
wheat and rice after you used it for one
use it for the other. So what would
always happen is that every time uh even
if you had a bag full of rice when you
poured it there was a few grains of uh
of of wheat in there. So they said that
you know that means that there's no way
for us to kasure the the rice. It's not
that rice suddenly became a uh a
different uh you know uh creation in the
eyes of the Ashkinazim. It was under the
circumstances that they lived in. The
safari Jews that lived in the Middle
East, whether it was in uh in Syria, in
Libya, Tripoli, in uh Morocco, Egypt, uh
Jordan, all the different parts of the
Middle East that the Safari Jew lived
in. Didn't have the same problem.
Didn't reuse the same sacks. Didn't live
in the same conditions.
So that never became part of the customs
of the safari Jews and that's why it's
not part of them today. For the
Ashkenazi Jews, it's still a part of
their day. Even though you buy rice from
the store and obviously they're not uh
mixed with with wheat usually unless
there's a mistake. Uh but they still why
because the custom is so old that we
don't change it. We don't change it. The
so any custom with it's an old custom we
don't change it. But the point is is
that the differences between the uh
Satir and Bobov and Kabad and uh a uh
you know a tans and the Safhari Jew and
the Ammonite Jew, Ethiopian Jew,
Ashkenazi Jew, all of that gen you know
is is that there is the laws all of us
have to comply with and then there's the
customs the specific traditions that uh
were uh you know that applied, you know,
to specific places until this day. Um,
now certainly there are
that uh pasin differently using the same
rules of the Torah uh that pasin
differently, but that's you know it's
it's not the foundation. Meaning there's
no uh prosec that's ever going to tell
you that you're allowed to drive a car
on Shabbat. Whether he's aazio safari or
he's Yemenite or he's uh from the old
generation or the new generation today,
you're never going you're not allowed to
drive on Shabbat.
You're not to light fire on Shabbat. But
when it comes to for example uh
reheating reheating water
on Shabbat on a on a hot plate there is
a difference among puskim for a uh
safari Jew once you uh take off the hot
water let's say it's soup off of the
platter if you put that uh that pot down
on let's say the table you're not
allowed to put it back on a platter
during the rest of that Shabbat.
Now, if you live in a non-safari home
and you see that your mom is
giving you soup on Friday night and also
giving you soup again hot on Shabbat
afternoon, don't think that she's a
sinner.
she it's allowed because she's not
following the traditions of the
is they're allowed to reheat water. Um
but again the fundamentals fire on
Shabbat uh you know adultery, murder, uh
you know all the basics are you know
that they're all the same. They're all
the same but that's what you have to
learn and you have to apply and you have
to learn even more and understand and
become at the very least become a evid
of
I heard of the name Cohen. Well, it's
Is that like a joke? I mean, Cohen is a
Jewish name, but doesn't mean that every
person that has a last name Cohen is
actually a Jew because of the
intermarriage
that has happened over the generations.
You cannot rely on the fact that just
because somebody's last name is Cohen,
that they're actually even Jewish.
Because if, let's say, for example, the
uh the husband is a Jew that had a last
name Cohen and he married a non-Jewish
woman,
her last name becomes Cohen. No, but the
kids that they have since since the wife
is not Jewish, the kids that they have
are not Jewish. So even if they have a
uh last name Cohen, there are many
people in the world, you know that came
from intermarriage and therefore they
are not Jewish even though they have the
last name Cohen. But certainly Coin is
comes from a coin. Aaron, the brother of
of Mosheu, he was the first he was the
first coin. I mean technically Moshe was
the first coin but the uh Aon is uh
was the main coin after that first day.
Can I marry myself as secular
but still be observant?
Can I carry myself as secular? Oh, can I
carry myself as secular but be
observant?
I don't really understand what you mean
by carrying yourself as secular. If you
mean walk around not modest, if you mean
uh you know use foul language, if you
mean uh you know go to the movies and
and and pretty much act like everybody
else, but yet keep uh Shabbat and
kosher.
You can do that, but don't think for a
second that it's okay, that you're going
to go straight to heaven without any
problems. because if you're doing things
that are forbidden uh according to the
Torah, then um you'll get punished for
them. Plus, living that double type of
life where you want to follow what
Hashem says because you know you have
to, because you know you need to, but at
the same token, you're afraid of what
people are going to think about you and
how they're going to look at you and all
of that stuff. you're gonna end up being
very very miserable because you're going
to be living a double life and never
you're never going to be happy about
your connection to Hashem because you
never went full force and you're never
going to be happy with your secular life
because you know that you can't do all
of what everybody else is doing. So
you're just going to end up being the
most miserable person in the crowd.
For the person that's uh missionary
mentioning the name of their idol and
everything, you guys can just ignore
them. They're just sick people.
I get sad because I get picked on by my
neighbors, but I'm still here.
Well, who told you that you have to
listen to what they say? If they say
something nasty, just walk away.
Just because somebody's talking doesn't
mean you have to listen.
For all the idol worshippers or the
group of idol worshippers that are
trying to miss meize during this
lecture, if you really want to know what
we think about your Jesus, you could
watch my channel. go to my YouTube
channel and type the word Jesus in the
uh or New Testament in the um
in the search box over there. You'll
actually see a lecture that I uh did
years ago called um Jesus based on a
cabala or something to do with that. And
it'll tell you I'll talk to you about uh
about how number one believing in the
New Testament is idol worship. Number
two, your Jesus is in gay right now and
he's never coming out and all the other
wonderful details of uh what the Torah
actually thinks of your Jesus. Um
perhaps it'll wake you up and make you
realize how foolish uh your current
belief system is. But uh the point is is
that um if you want to understand why we
think uh without a shadow of a doubt
that uh you're simply wasting your time
being here and trying to missionize and
why we know without a shadow of a doubt
that your belief is idolatry. Just go
watch the lectures that I actually have
over there that show all the proofs
from the Torah and even from the New
Testament
that show that it's a false man-made
document that uh is simply ridiculous to
believe in.
So go watch them. There's several
lectures that I made over the years
about the topic. Watch all of them. Each
one is slightly different than the next
or very different than the next. And you
educate yourself at least. Why waste
your time here smashing your head
against the wall, you know, writing all
types of things that nobody's paying
attention to.
I recently
recently moved out from living with my
mom to seek Jewish community and
convert. But my mom is heartbroken and
sad. Am I in a wrong? No.
The Torah specifically says that at some
point the children have to leave the
house, get married, and needless to say,
if somebody wants to abandon the
non-Jewish life and convert, abandon the
secular life and live a life of Tawra,
of course, they should leave their
parents house uh you know, as soon as
possible.
And uh as far as your mom being sad,
once she sees that you're happy in your
new life and you're doing well, she'll
be happy.
[Music]
What should I do that makes me think
that Judaism is fake? Educate yourself.
watch the lectures we've made that uh
show the scientific, archaeological
uh and biblical proofs that not only is
Judaism real uh and Torah real, but it's
the only thing that's real and
everything else is fake. I have a film
that we made years ago called Torah,
Science, and Ancient Wisdom. It's about
an hour, hour and 20 minutes. It's a
very, very good film full of proofs. you
could look up yourself could check it.
You could, you know, you could look up
the references and there's many other
lectures that I have on uh the uh our
website and our YouTube page uh that you
could simply stop guessing.
Stop uh wasting your time guessing. Go
check. Go check. If you were going to
buy a uh a business and you're going to
put all your money in it, let's say you
had $10 million and you're going to be
but you wanted to invest into a business
before you write the check for $10
million. You're going to check if the
business really is what the people are
are saying it is. You're not an idiot
that's going to go and just give them a
$10 million because you you know you
believe them based on uh what they said.
You're going to go check. You're going
to go check under the hood. Do they make
that much money? Do they sell that
product? Do they have patents? Do they
have this? is do they have that? You're
going to go check. The same thing if
you're going to invest into a stock or
you're going to invest into a uh you
know anything, a car or anything else in
life, you're going to check. So, if
you're going to check for something that
is material and therefore temporary only
to last this lifetime and not even all
of it, then needless to say, you should
check on what is going to determine what
your eternity is going to be. meaning
your entire life in this world and your
entire eternity that comes after this
life. So go check what the Torah says.
Say look at the sources. Don't take
people's word for it. Don't take who's
the best speaker. Uh who's the most
convincing,
who has the actual sources, the original
sources. I would recommend also reading
the book called Kuzari uh published by
Feldheim publishers uh or by I think art
scroll may have one as well but Kuzari
that's a uh talks about the uh the
famous battle between the uh Judaism
which is the Torah versus Christianity
and Islam and also Buddhism at some
point. So go read that book. It's about
a thousand pages, very deep, very uh
extensive, but you'll know for sure what
the truth is.
You'll know for sure what the truth is
after that.
I used to learn three hours a day. Now I
can't learn anymore. It's so hard. No,
it's not necessarily that it's so hard
to learn. It's that when you used to
learn
three hours per day, you were listening
to your desires and lust less.
Now that it's hard to learn, it's
because you're listening to your desires
and lusts more. The more materialistic a
person is, the more difficult
spirituality is. The uh the uh more
serious and committed they are to
developing their soul, their
spirituality, the easier it is for them
to separate themselves material.
What should you do if the community
you're in does not allow cure material
to be given and is rejected
individually, but you still want to help
those who have been led wrong ideology?
Well, I mean people can still be helped
individually. You go, you meet them in
uh go to their house, go to when you see
them at uh some common event, you see
them in a store, go to the supermarket.
I have a uh some students that uh
understand how important it is to do
kiru that they literally went to
a community that probably has
I at least 350 400 houses. So, it's a
decent sized community and they made
sure they put not just one book. They
made sure they made a package for every
single house with a book with a card I
think USBs all types of things. Each
person got a box, a gift
and they invested a lot of time, effort
to make this and it's not the first
time. After they finished that, they
went to a different community and took
another 300 and they do this on a
regular basis. So if a person really
wants to do kiru
then they'll continue doing it and and
do it and do it no matter how many
failures just like in the world of
business. If a person is in the world of
business he's not going to quit and be
decide to be homeless bum uh just
because his first business venture
didn't work out or because he didn't get
the job that he likes. He's going to try
again and again and again and again. So
the same concept with kiru even more so
try again and again a different way
strategize differently strategize uh
more clever strategize with more
investment more effort and business will
help you
will help you
somebody asked me today rabbi what's
your secret that you're able to get all
this done all the things you do all the
projects I want to be like
and
to go into all the details on all the
projects that I work and all the, you
know, it's going to take too much time.
I'll tell you this,
I do my best to exert myself to the
limit and leave everything on the field
every day.
Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail,
but I always try.
Why? Because I understand and I live the
need.
When I learn about another person that
is going against Hashem, I don't think
about, oh, too bad for him. Hopefully,
this cha No, to me it hurts. What can I
do to help him? Now, of course, people
say, "Oh, so if you could help him, why
don't you call my cousin? Why don't you
call my uncle? Why don't you call my
girlfriend? Why don't you call my
husband and my kids and fix it?" No, I
don't have that kind of time because
there's so much need out there. I can't
do everything. I can't make personalized
phone calls and spend 45 minutes on the
phone one-on-one to convince somebody to
believe in God or to to convince
somebody to leave his non-Jewish spouse.
No, I don't have that kind of time. I
need to deal with the masses.
And to do that requires an enormous
amount of effort, enormous amount of
time management. uh and you have to
pretty much split your resources to the
to the best use. No different than how
you run an energy company or you run a
uh any type of uh major operation, you
want to use your resource to the best of
your, you know, of your ability. So,
while some people may have all the time
in the world and they can make
personalized visits, they can go to
people's houses every day, a different
house, uh that's great, but they're not
going to be able to do a lot of things
aside from that.
they'll be able to do that and that's
it. But my organization has a lot of
different projects. They uh when I was
uh in a rabbi's issue earlier today, I
uh uh I was also giving a sh with him
and they were asking questions earlier
today and uh the people are very lively
and lots of questions and uh they asked
us what kind what what projects are you
working on right now? What's the next
project? And for anyone who who knows
uh knows that there's no such thing as
what's the next project. There's a
endless amount of projects
that were always working on that are
always in the making or that are always
a uh you know there. So for example,
this is a list of different projects
that are you know just in the uh you
know like
and another one and there's a couple of
other lists over here. Now, if you want
to see some things that are very, very
close to hit to market, this is a sample
of another book. We just got it and
right now it's being printed and will be
in the market to distribute for free in
uh Israel mainly and some in America.
It's frames uh new book called. There's
also volume six of
we just got the uh graphics done and now
we're going to go and start printing. So
there's two books that uh are being
printed and uh we'll uh eventually get
distributed. We have a bunch of
different technological projects going
on. Uh we have that big projects that I
told you guys about uh for uh that's
literally three years in the making. Uh,
and um,
I'll give you a sneak peek.
Sneak peek. I can tell you what it is or
how, but this is it.
This is your sneak peek. It's called
This is the new Kiru box. What's in it?
That's the secret. But Karim, this is
coming. is going to change the entire
life of somebody forever.
But even after we bring it to market,
only smart people
are going to invest
because it's not just about having
money. It's about having the spiritual
intellect
of what to do with that money.
That project
it's big.
It's really big. You want to see more?
Let me see how many of you
I'll let you see more.
Now
I will tell you this is the first time
anyone sees this. It's been a secret for
a long time. Even guys on the team,
people on the team haven't seen this.
We had a Kir
um kroof bag that we distributed. I
don't know how many of them since we
first started years ago which had books,
USBs, CDs, different things. Now it's
not only very expensive but it was also
very timeconuming to to package them to
ship them.
So we figured what is the best thing
that we can give somebody that is
everything on a silver platter,
educate them, uh entertain them and
change them to the right path all at
once. Now you say, "Oh, give them the
app, give them the card." You're right.
You're right. You could take give them
one of these, you know, cheap bookmarks
that are absolutely amazing that only
cost a few pennies and uh they scan it.
They watch the app every day and we're
done. But unfortunately, not everybody's
going to do that. Why? It's convincing,
but not that convincing. So, you give
him a different card or you give him a
USB. Yes, it's all convincing, but it's
not I'm not sold yet. Why? Because he
has a non-Jewish girlfriend. Because he
likes to gamble. Because of this,
because of that. There's one thing that
only if you're literally anti- Torah and
you hate it with all of your heart are
you not going to at the very least
entertain
trying it out. And that's what we have.
I'd like to introduce you to the new
Kiru box. But unlike the other, this one
does not require much packaging. In
fact, it doesn't require anything by
you. All you got to do
is open. It
[Music]
[Applause]
starts off with a song. Then it goes to
the films
and it has a bunch of our best
absolute best films, music, shim,
lots of stuff.
that is pleasing to the eye. You could
hear it
and in so many words Abu Tai
the dead would be a woken just to do
this just to watch it. You have fast
forward you have increased the volume.
You want to go to the next film.
Go to the next one.
You got it.
You would probably like to get it for
yourself, but if you really want to do
kiru, you're going to get this for as
many people as possible. You're going to
try to get one for your cousin, for your
brother, for your coworker. Why? You
don't need to talk anymore. You don't
need to convince anymore. You don't need
to say, "Listen, this is a USB. You
could put it. The rabbi is interesting."
You don't have to do anything anymore.
We literally did everything for you. All
you got to do is get one of this and
simply tell to a person, listen, I love
you. Here's a gift. What is it? It
doesn't require an explanation. In fact,
it doesn't require internet. It doesn't
require technical knowledge. All it
requires is some ability to simply
open it. That's it. After that, it turns
out by itself.
If you want to skip because you've
already watched the first few videos,
then we need a thumb or a nail or or
something, a stick, you could press
things and that's it. No skills, no
internet, no nothing. Abu tai endless
amount of effort of designing it,
putting it together uh uh just a uh huge
amount and also selecting selecting
what's going to be on it. What's going
to be on it? and Bashem because our team
is so amazing. We have a lot of
different things. So, we put
the films, some music, lots of things
that it's going to short, long,
lots of stuff that's going to keep you
busy, entertained,
and like I said, a person has to be
spiritually dead, not to be enticed to
at the very least try it out.
If they try try it out,
your chances of getting that person to
do chuva have now increased by 500%.
There is no tool like it in the world of
Torah
because everything else requires more
effort, more selling, more convincing.
And
this is going to be something that's
available
within the coming weeks. We're not going
to be able to distribute them for free
because they're expensive.
Uh but we're not going to, you know,
we're not looking to make millions of
dollars out of it either. So, it's going
to be cheap and uh we're going to try to
keep coming up with more and more
innovative ideas to help do. But this,
like I said, this is not your typical
idea. This is an idea that took three
years to come to uh to existence and now
it's already on the way here.
And uh anyone that wants to sponsor
wants to be a partner because we didn't
have time uh nor did we wouldn't have
the uh ability to raise money
specifically for this because it's been
really a secret project for a long time.
But now that you know, you want to be a
sponsor, you want to invest, you want to
put instead of investing more in stocks
and real estate and jewelry and all
types of other things, you want to
invest into getting baluva.
There is simply no tool on planet earth
that will be more convincing than this
because this raai is 10 years of work
in a
not only in a simple thing but it's 10
years worth of work in a way that's so
beautiful that
doesn't matter whether the person is
secular, religious, young, old, Everyone
would be interested in this. Don't be
surprised if other people are going to
try to copy it. But what they can't copy
is the last 10 years of work that they
won't be able to copy. And uh if if they
copy and they actually succeed in
helping people do chv will be happy for
that. But this is a first in the market
and this is kabutai weeks away and uh
it'll be available in the stores and
we'll make a special package for people
that actually want to buy a bunch of
them so they can distribute them. Um,
we'll do whatever we can to to make it
uh not only uh affordable, but also to
make it uh something that um you're
going to want to give it to people, not
just keep it for yourself because it's
entertaining.
Will have success. Thank you very much
for learning with me. uh anyone that
wants to be a partner, anyone that wants
to support uh this project or to help us
with feeding the poor in Israel that
have lost their home during the uh
recent attacks, you could donate on the
website, you could donate on our
campaign page, you could donate on the
Facebook campaign, lots of ways to
support. Uh but um
if you really want to be serious about
your uh your blessed life that you want
in this world and the next,
this year gave you the path,
gave you the clarity,
gave you the alternative or at least
knowledge about it. And now we finished
off even with a new tool.
It's light.
It's really really cool.
This is miracle in the making of miracle
and
thank you very much for learning with
me. Blesses everyone that watches that
shares and uh the will take advantage of
the opportunities that are available to
help.
I'm not
I don't
know.
