36 hours in PAKISTAN I became a celebrity 🇵🇰

friend didn't manage to get a visa to the next country some traveling tips nine out of 10 times the vending machines will be the cheapest place to get drinks in the airport in their Cafe down there they'll send it to three euros in the vending machine it was 10 leros Which is less than half a Euro over six times cheaper get from vending machines just met some local people from Karachi I'm heading to Pakistan and they told me I'm gonna have a good time is that right yes all right I'm very excited you made me even more excited to come now and he just subscribed to my YouTube channel and he's watching my videos now I've got a new fan my biggest fan right here I'm very excited the people seem very very friendly and I think I'm probably the only guy in the flight who's not from this part of the world here we go I just walked down the aisle of the plane and I become the gold light with Bill Tom it's the only meat I can have which does need a fridge just landed here in Karachi prayer goes off oh craziness [Music] First Impressions on Pakistan it's a typical third world country so far people have been very friendly I mean the taxi driver kind of scammed me a bit but he was very nice about it anyway good night got a pack day tomorrow seeing Karachi good morning here from Karachi Pakistan I'm not sure when it was the last time someone in Pakistan this hotel cost me 40 pounds 20 pounds a night come to check out breakfast don't make me anything it's not like there's any fruit or soy milk and cereals just hit the streets and see behind me the security for the hotels have serious guns not just the police here gives you a certain sense of this place I like the gun the buses here are super cool each one has its own patterns on its own character each one tells you a story morning Karachi is the largest town in Pakistan and it's the 12th largest in the world and over 20 million people live in this buzzling city that wasn't your typical ambulance station gosh this line and the back of the ambulance smoking a cigarette brilliant one thing I know for sure is that they're not putting on any show for the tourists because there is no tourist and the only guy here I'm about to visit Masjid ituba which is a very very famous mosque here and it's very famous for its Dome it's got a huge Dome with no pillows your shelves so you can take off your shoes uh hopefully no one steals them yeah they're not like that come here come here you can see there's not a single pillar it's just one huge Dome amazing structure this spot right in the front is for the Hassan the guy who leads the prayers and there's like some wiring there for the mic done it for a guitar so yeah incredible Acoustics in here I'm not sure if you can hear the echo but the sound travels all the way around in this boiling hot weather you'd expect me to wear shorts but I won't be allowed in a mosque from wearing shorts so that's why I'm wearing long trousers from the siren sound on that police car sounds like the police car is in pain just about to enter some small Street Market here and guess what I've just come across no you didn't guess it Duncan Dunkin Donuts here who would have thought I've come a bit about Stocker there you go yeah sure yes and the balstacle town The Whole Town's Running Oh eBay what have I done to myself I Love Pakistan but I love food thank you besides of the fact this is a lot more fun it's half the price this journey is like 15 minutes my regular taxi will be a pound and this is 50p saving you a bit of money there [Music] thank you just arrived at the next big tourist attraction it's called and it's the mausoleum the film of the person who founded Pakistan and his name was I'm just gonna read it for you um Muhammad Ali Jinnah um might not be worth everyone's money to come inside here it costs 30 rupees which is around 10 pence Jokes Aside this is the third to cheapest city in the world pain in the sky 30 Pence it's gonna get a good photo of me let me have a look wow great photo thank you thank you so the Pakistani people are known for giving out things for free to be very very hospitable give me a bottle of water and the only problem is that it's not sealed so it's probably tap water if I have this the rest of the trip I'll be on the bathroom what's your names okay thank you thank you you don't speak English oh yes yes you speak English well it's very clever about the taxi up here that you could bid higher pay more money try and get a taxi so if you get up in the price it's more likely you'll find a driver these colorful buses add so much more flavor to the city if you've paid a bit extra you can get a tax with air conditioning I promise you it's worth those extra few pennies being a cool car by far the best way to embrace the culture and meet the locals is coming to our market so I've waited to midday lunchtime but the Market's going to be busy and here we are hello hello we're nice and cool in here because the clockwork everyone just finds a way and yeah hope for the best I'm not actually trying to get anywhere but I'm gonna take a bus just for the experience I've got absolutely no clue where I'm heading to always a bit devastating when you see so much rubbish and such poor conditions of the houses the roads this is the local garage where they fix the cars Tuk Tuks motorbikes you name it they can fix it here about this traveling really broadens your Horizon my eyes getting tired there's action absolutely everywhere I'm looking One Direction and I hear some noise down there 360 Degrees around me there's chaos this guy wants to follow my YouTube channel let's show him thank you for coming Pakistan I love it here I love it here great people great people and when we book tickets to come here and apply for a Visa um Imran Khan who is the former prime minister got arrested and those riots all over the country because most people are a big fan of Imran Khan so we didn't think that could come it might be too dangerous we thought maybe our Visa will be declined but yeah I made it here and I think my friend couldn't come here probably for other reasons um he was born in Jerusalem so that might have been the problem I was looking to get a haircut but I've come across this hat shop on a by myself a authentic Pakistani hat I'm looking for a original Pakistan hat you have to say another guy wants to subscribe to my channel yeah hello how are you I'm good I'm good we're another friendly man I've come across yeah I'll show you yeah sure he's just been telling me that he has students in England and he teaches them the Quran yeah and he very kindly invites me to have lunch for him I've never seen in any other country in the world where people invite you in for dinner I've never had tourist now tradition let's have a haircut in different countries here in Pakistan can you give me a good haircut inshallah just taught in the locks to pass even sure he doesn't chop them off Muhammad Rashid my barber is telling me he wants to come to England how about you come in my suitcase try to offer to bring him in my case but I'm not sure he understood saying costs 800 rupees a day just for electricity and each haircut's 250 rupees he has to do three haircuts just to cover electricity best part of the haircut is the head massage that are so incredible thank you to Muhammad Rashid thank you for the haircut thank you and I hope you come to England one day the heck there was only 250 rupees less than a pound I gave him 600 which is two pounds did a great job he's an honest person just trying to make a living hello making fresh flatbread laugh us over here hello what is this well it looks like some kind of Pancakes down here does look good smells good I haven't eaten for a day but I'm barely hungry because there's so much going on and the weather's so hot I've just come to the hotel I've showered I've cooled down and we're gonna have some lunch heading back out now to shower eat something just to feel normal again and now I'm heading back out to more like the beach area there's a stunning Palace I'm gonna see and took a 30 minute taxi which cost us 477 rupees which is like pound 30. so cheap it seems far too calm seeing that I'm still here in Karachi Pakistan we are by mahata Palace which is basically a palace from around 100 years ago a very rich Pakistani businessman built near the beach as a holiday home and it looks pretty nice besides of being the only tourist here I think I'm pretty much the only person here I mean I'm not sure how much it is to see maybe there's something to see inside I wasn't allowed to bring a camera or my phone into video but there's just some history about the place a bit about history about when India and Pakistan was one country and also it has some very cool paintings by some famous Pakistani artists and some cool embroidery all the things which I'm not really so interested so off we go nice little bonus get to see some peacocks probably more interesting in the palace some nice big hotels some nice Villas very famous for this part of the world sugar cane juice never tried it let's go for it trying sugarcane for the first time [Music] yeah quite interesting now I'm not sure how to describe this it's quite sweet I'm a bit worried I thought my stomach to uh you know turning her roller coaster oh nice fish enjoy see you the only 300 rupees one pound we're gonna go some lucky patch y regulations after watching 30 minutes how much is a fair ride from a dune buggy to a Horse Ride who would think he's still in Pakistan beautiful Coastline everyone just relaxing getting more beeping and everything people just enjoying life it must be said they really know how to decorate things here whether it's the bus or the horses they really do a good job I'm literally on the horse ride and the son already offered me a camel ride they go hardcore here come here give me a minute break I think people should come in with their families some holidays so cheap and so beautiful people are friendly it's safe I mean I felt safe all day definitely the best beach I've seen everyone completely covered up just bought a Pepsi for 100 rupees 30p I gave him a thousand he doesn't know what to do with it he doesn't know where to get cheese from it's like giving a million pound over here I'm a celebrity everyone's had photos in me I'm famous here everyone's have photos of me oh I'm just sitting here and thinking that it's amazing how social media and General Media manipulates where tourists travel find way more scams in Italy in Greece the Instagram shows you to go there so you go there over here people are friendly it's very cheap it's beautiful but the media says dangerous so people don't go here should never never trust what you see don't experience it yourself and find out the truth half the day I'm entering my name in people's phones they can follow me on YouTube sure you subscribers as well I found out a bit more about the history while they're doing like India because when the country was divided in 1947 it was a bit of riffra but they're watching my YouTube videos seeing that I went to India I told them I prefer Pakistan any day of the week pack is done good India oh to make friends there if only it was like this in school we need to tell more tourists to come because it's so nice tell them tourists come come to Pakistan it's such a nice place how many friendly people yeah do you want a slight break from the city great place to come here on the beach I mean it's not a beach like the Maldives but it's pretty fun pretty relaxing small downside they drive you a bit mad hipster loads of people are coming now Sunset get some pictures wow that's very uh cool [Music] foreign [Music] just got into the port Grand no joking this time this was expensive 300 rupees which is a pound but still not bad because you can use the vouchers for 100 rupees twice so it's really only 100 to get in and I'm also a vlogger I use the vlogger nice we're on YouTube in Pakistan we speak Urdu okay in your country you speak English correct yeah I know British so teach me some things how are most friendly people absolutely amazing I had cancer a few years ago yeah but now I'm better so inshallah inshallah pray for Abraham he's very good man I'm hanging around my friend here I went to buy a bottle of water didn't let me pay for it he said you are our guest and we pay special people of pakistanis I don't see this anywhere else haven't seen many um tour shops who sell souvenirs trying to find a snow globe and a bottle opener but yeah the only thing you have here is Magna so let's see if we can find somewhere else if not usually the apples have we've just started off a whole arguments When you mention Cricket everyone goes crazy this area is great it's got loads of different activities I'm gonna try out this bull thing you have to sit on it and it shakes around and you have to stay on as long as possible hey Mom how are you okay let's see if I can last longer than 10 seconds it's easy right now no you're good good good bro it would be illegal to come to Pakistan and not play Pakistani party not Imran Khan's the other one but uh yeah it's just fun and games I'm learning a lot about uh Pakistani politics here is Angry Birds can we throw him around where's the slingshot we need to uh shoot him out ah you found a friend yeah someone likes you I'm still traveling yeah a bit boring but I found like 10 friends I've been there for two hours me out to drink showed me around option on Uber just to take a bite at this Africa so much more fun I've just come to some random roof bar and what they're playing my Vlogs what a coincidence that's crazy I've got the whole bar watching my Vlogs now thank you must be a very exclusive place this because the price was like 10 pounds for us it's very cheap for them that's a fortune time to get back to the hotel as I like to keep things very real with you guys um I haven't eaten the entire day besides one pizza bread with a bit of meat and now my pizza breads are frozen so I'm heating it up on top of some cups I've got some sausages I'm gonna put into like some hot water in the cup to warm it up a bit and that's my supper tonight opening up my pack of sausages with the end of my phone charger or now it's time for the sausages to warm up a bit in the hot water and then we're almost done today in Pakistan I had such an amazing experience and potentially I could say that this was my favorite and most fun travel day of my life Berkshire been absolutely incredible only slept three hours last night and I've got to Gap in six hours so I've got a flight tomorrow morning so good night [Music]
