I'm so excited to be here in the town of
Ramapo at this beautiful construction
site
where very shortly
there will be a beautiful child care
center
called Rising Child under
Rabbi Biernik and Lagato.
>> Uh
last week or 2 weeks ago he came to our
office. He had some issues about
receiving the grants from the state.
We reached out
to the governor and the governor's
people
and today we can announce
that they got approved
for $3 million
to
to build this beautiful
child care center.
So, I would like to thank Rabbi Biernik
and his staff for doing such a wonderful
job. And I'm also thanking the
contractor.
It seems they're doing a very good job
and hopefully we'll get it done very
quickly.
>> Thank you and I'm honored
to welcome Assemblywoman Nita
to this future home of Rising Child Day
Care.
This will be a future for the working
families of our community.
And we are grateful and I would like to
sincerely thank Assemblywoman Nita
for expanding the support for expanding
child care services for the working
families including children with
developmental needs. This is very
important and a lot of children in our
community is waiting for this kind of
child care and quality child care that
Assemblywoman Nita is supporting to
expand in our community. And again,
thank you for the developers, state
developer. Unbelievable. We just started
a few weeks ago. It's unbelievable where
we up to. And I think with in about 12
months this will be a reality and a
future and making a long-lasting
difference for the community and from
Rockland County. So, thank you everyone.
>> And from the bottom of my heart,
Governor Hochul, thank you very much.
>> Thank you.
>> You came through for Rockland County and
for the entire state of New York.
