sheer it's not a sheer of like how to make a peso in uh 2021 it's just a discussion a free free flowing discussion of things that are interesting things that you want to know uh what's new what's what's what needs to have what doesn't what's different for this year and we take your questions uh we have a number of questions we take your chats and we try to get through as much as we can so let's start with kovid rabbi no rabbi buyer let's start with cove this year my what what is different this year than all other years you know not different than last year but even all the previous years um some covet issues the hand sanitizer in in previous years before last year we used to say get one without alcohol which is available still but uh because of possible comets content but because of covid and uh because of of such issues we just said just get anyone that you can get and use it and stay healthy and don't worry about that stringency um that's what behind me said we should say last year and this year um and that is the same as as as last year now one important point a lot last year a lot of people because they were not able to get to the kaelyn mikva to get their new utensils so what did they do rabbi buyer uh i think they used them anyway no no you know after them for they they made them ownerless in front of three people and uh but this year the mikviz are open the kale and mixtures are open so one should be careful that when you take out your piece of stuff paste those utensils you you of course last year when you put them where you marked them right now is that you're making a general statement that the kale mixes are open yeah maybe like in texas in florida i don't know if you actually closed in those states in maryland in baltimore it's open yeah all towards something okay but you mean you have to be in a state where you know making a general assessment that by now they are open okay everything is open right okay thank you for that uh it's true zev says in new york they're open silver spring is open okay we got to find the place where it's closed uh were they ever closed in new york mm-hmm probably yeah it's neither right what you want to do is when you pick up your utensils you want to pick them up in order to be cone to them to with intent to acquire them and then you can take them to the mikvah and be total them with a bracha uh and uh that way you have it 100 covered pesha says that they're closed in in montreal okay so in montreal you'll have to stick with whatever you did last year uh and uh that's that's the same thing as last year but this year for other places you should remember to acquire them if you don't remember which ones are you you you know you may have everything mixed up from previous years and from last year then uh you want to ask your local fx rabbi how to deal with it okay another covet issue let's jump right in here we have two cans of of uh sardines seasoned sardines right let me bring them closer and see if you can it's a little bit dif i see that i have to adjust to the camera once there's no salt added you see a difference in the certification yeah one says oh you para the one says oh you p pyriv right so why why is that so you put out a notice that uh that they're they're not able to get to these places this one is in morocco and um they're not able to get there for the regular pace of production when have a p on it it means that the masjid is there and he's uh he's making the run they don't just make pesach runs without him on the other hand the regular run without the peso we could be without him is not there all the time for regular productions i mean most productions are not done with the machiavelli so the one so the oh you without the p is new for this year and you want it you know and you can have well you could have on the same shelf you can have it look like this and one has a few more things they cannot there is nothing available so it's not available you're saying for face off this year well i it is available because i when i got both on the shelf but i assumed that the one with the oup is from last year i got here so if you want old sardines let me see if you want fresh sardines you can't get them you know old sardines then they they got them if you can banish them i'm not sure if that's if that's uh if that's is it pc pc sardines so you want to check but my point is you'll want to check the sharing very carefully this year and make sure that what you think has the pesticide another point i want to make people is becoming very popular they have uh subscribe orders with amazon with other online delivery services and if you uh if you have online let's say to buy uh cereal like cheerios every month and your month you know your delivery comes out march uh 30th you're gonna get a delivery of cheerios on on the peso on your front on your doorstep and you don't want you don't want that obviously so you know make sure to cancel your your subscribes if they are comments okay um i'm not so fancy i don't have such i don't know i usually get cereal off the shelf i don't get it delivered but uh okay well there's a lot it's very popular a lot of people do it okay um okay she's asking does anyone have a specific name brand of cat food that can be used on pesach other than avengers which is uh which is approved so plenty of questions for you robert goldberg must be your friends or something i did not plan that question um i happen to take care of the the pace of pet foods and you can find online is the pet lover of the starkey all right the stardashkay.org you can go there under look on our passover uh our passover guide and you can find the pet list there and you'll find many cat foods and dog foods and other gecko foods and all sorts of foods for your foods right i actually don't own any pets but that's okay um no but you have to have a little bird bird thingy in front of your house though bird nest for sure hurricane yeah yeah right right okay um i want to mention that uh a lot of people shop at costco there are two particular items there that would be very interesting to you one is the kirkland almond flour which is uh made in an all almond flour plant they don't do anything else there they don't add anything to it it's okay for pesach and also like if you want to save money so you can either buy you know this is a brand of uh of a little bear with a with a pesa capture on it you know it's small and it's expensive or you can go to costco and buy the the kirkland honey has an oup on it it's very cheap i pointed out every year that's usually what i do um and that's something that you may want to take advantage of okay let's take some some of the questions here vegetable wash vegetable is there a vegetable washer that's kosher for a pesto yes there is we got that question from a number of people and uh the seventh generation brand is under oh you and the ou says it's acceptable for peso so you know do people realize that that vegetable wash doesn't necessarily take off the buggers um it it's useful for it what do you mean if you check you still it's not enough to wash it you still have to check it right you still have to check it okay you check right okay we can get rabbit tenderloin to explain how you go about uh you know doing that well there's a lot of cat foods that are available here i'm looking at the list here well there's plenty okay let's go let's go through some of our products that we we got and then we'll take i thought you were joking there really is a gecko food here yeah what in the world not not not a uh is that like that's the geico thing right yep okay um let's see what we have here we have some unusual we have uh oreos yum uh these foods are getting better and better you know so it's non-gerbruk you know if you if you if you like that of course we have to do our uh traditional quinoa this is stock starch you could see the star k um let me see how they're oriented here it's kosher for peso uh it's natural earth products we made a run um a couple weeks ago and with lots there's plenty to go around of that in one that came up and what was the issue with kit magnet was the uh that there might be some grains in the in the so well you want it yeah you want to get it barley this barley you know they grow it near barley uh we used to think that it didn't grow in their barley but we found out that it does or could and so we make sure that it doesn't grow near barley and the place that packs it is is to me there and um when you get any quinoa you want to check it for bugs we we think that there's not bugs in here but when you when you when you do buy you have to have sure you should check it for bugs because they sit around and we have that information on our website as well is our brand of quinoa is that checked for bugs we checked it but we can't guarantee that it's gonna you know it's just it could sit and we would tell people to check it anyway we wouldn't we wouldn't sell if we wouldn't check it but it's not we can't we can't guarantee it um this is an old product called fox's you bet very popular product uh it used to be a little you bet right it used to be a little bit difficult to figure out if it's kosher pesos because they would put that they have yellow thing on top there yeah and people want to see it and we got a ton of calls about that but now the the oup is right there very clear and so no problem okay here's i want to point out something else um here's this is for informational purposes this is hearts of palm right uh i'm just trying to how to orient it because i'm looking at the picture online and it's backwards for everybody i didn't realize i have this problem no i can see you well like yeah this one here the from the california delight is this star character sp that's foreign this one is the ou p what would be the difference between the two so this is just for informational purpose just to let you know it's just a different in in in sheets and how they how we do kosher the ou accepts uh citric acid that is kidneys and that's their long-standing policy based on their plaque and the starcade does not so they both have citric acid in it we don't have time to go on what is exactly kidding that's another whole uh discussion but it's kidneys that has gone through a process and it's changed from original kidneys it's not actual legumes when you were a kid did you ever have a heart of palm no it's a new product have you just invented in the past 10 years like you can't you can't move now in the in the jewish world without hearts of palm it's just oh did you have sushi it's the same thing did not have sushi either that's true that's true okay so the difference is that the citric acid that the ou uses would be kidneys and the one that the starches wouldn't would be from some other source not not kidneys it's just a different sock and those that go with you know what they don't want to have kidneys in the standard they would look for the products that don't have those that go with the other side doesn't it doesn't matter um let's continue we have here the sun made raisins which used to have a different texture but now it's it's clearly marked there with your okp and uh that makes the life simple we used to we used to have a different certification people used to call us about it yeah dried fruits did you get it did you get any prunes to show i did why you want fruit no i'm just saying did they change hashgraz also um i have dreams where are they i'll come i'll i'll find him okay all right no no no no rush yeah well this one is this is this is what i got for prunes this is um okay it says right this is how you can save money you don't have to buy the necessarily the expensive stuff right you buy this one that has the oup and and you know it's going to be a little cheaper is there citric acid in that one no no no starbase or nothing i um then we have we have uh tobacconic this is a popular product chicken broth you can see there the star kp this is made with a masjid midi they go in and they make this product here are some things these are not food products but anyway we have here uh a store brand of tooth flossers you could see this one is is uh is mint flavored this would not be acceptable for pesach because of the flavoring but these are just plain what about is that acceptable for for during the year the mid one during the year it's okay just one peso the mint ones yes yeah but these are unflavored and these are good for pesto they're not so easy to find i found them at seven mile you know something cheaper you can get these things they're like little squares they come and it's like a spool of of dental floss you have to hold it you have to hold it with your hands number but if you want to do it a little cheaper yeah yeah so how do you become very fancy in your old age right so the actually we found that the unflavored flossers are easily more easily found online than uh than than in a store they're not too easy to come by they're not so easy to come by okay let's take some of the questions people have let's see let's see we'll get to the questions here okay a question about the dry dog foods okay i have to open up the list which i can do you checked it out while we are looking i'm looking for dog food paper towels paper towels we say you can ask this is not even about paper towels paper towels we don't have a problem paper towels except some of the the glue that holds them together could be could be kidney or so what we say is that you should take off the first couple of sheets and the last sheet wherever the glue holds them together you should take that off and not use that for food and i can't find it i think okay this is asking can we depend on how much in the aquarium degrading in three days in a week in two weeks that's a good question i don't i don't know the fish eat it for a while it's a little bit of a problem i don't have a ready answer for that fish i have the dog food list here in front of me okay i don't know what was the question about the dried dog food dried dog food from blue buffalo blue buffalo there is nothing called blue buffalo on this list all we have the closest thing we have is blue freedom and that's canned okay with some of the wilderness which is also canada if you have a question about particular uh dog food we certainly if you can email us at info stardashkay.org or call us at 410-44110 we certainly can uh can look at that but this is a question about the aquarium is very good question the food the argument would be that the food that you serve them that's comets you put it in its hummus after a couple of weeks it gets degraded until it's not royal achilles kelp and then it wouldn't be a problem for pesos the problem with that argument is that the fish seem to enjoy it uh for for a while and uh and it and and as long as the fish are eating it then it's royal achilles a caliph is it doesn't have to be not royal affiliate's killer for a dog it has to be not not good for any any animal to eat it it's not a dog it's not nothing special about it sorry go ahead no i'm saying i recall when i was in high school right behind him and comes every year to the high school in mary's trial to give a free pesach uh presentation so i think i remember someone asked him a question that his family this person was asking the question this buffer his family's mockman on gabrucks and he was wondering if that would be a problem for the fish food so behind him says as far as he knows there's no the fish are not marketed we get the same sort of question about um in the pet food list we put on a lot of the foods have rice or corn and people call it people call us and they point out that we make a mistake because there's it's good for smarties party fish so we say well if the dog is a sparty so then he doesn't have a problem with it uh yeah the same kind of question can you cash your granite counters using a steamer so cash ring is a whole nother uh you have to look at those videos right so i want to point you got to be award-nominated i think the the short answer is we don't use as a steamer unless you're going to use the steamer to heat the water that's already on the countertop so we don't catch it with steam but you could the steam could be used to uh to to boil the water that's on top of the countertop because we only catch you with water uh the so that's a good segue into ravi byers talking about we just had uh we made six i believe six videos uh for the uh in conjunction with with uh a good a good of america kiheim kayenu and they are on our website about cashiering uh your home for pesach and for year round and uh it's excellent information you can find it at stardashk.org videos and you look look on there for kiheim i might be able to bring up some if i have time on written down it's in in print form which uh you know people i think people are still reading nowadays yeah sometimes yeah that's okay what eye drops are okay for basic i don't think any eye drops have any problem uh yehuda says it's not called or it's not oreos it's creamy yes it's not i i it's just a uh they're oreo type uh cookies not actual oreos okay costco salmon any issue for pesos okay so on the salmon it has a decent i think the salmon we have we have some information about the salmon i'm going to tell you because that's a popular product we have um uh we have one second how come i don't have the latest list okay the kirkland the frozen uh the frozen atlantic salmon the oh you says does not have any place of concerns uh so though that that's acceptable the frozen atlantic salmon so it's the kirkland brand the curriculum brand which is the costco brand does not have any uh pace of concerns and it has the ou symbol on it now there's another issue with them that they may not have the skin on them and that's another another issue that you want to think about but if you buy it during the year and you're not worried about the skin you can buy it on pesach the huff k also tells us that some of their products uh are are fine as well and i'm going to bring up that information hold on a second also costco brands no they have different brands uh so the the the fk told us that the following brands of frozen raw unseasoned salmon with regular cupcake supervision that comes from chili comes from chili does not need any piece of special basic certification so frozen raw frozen raw unseasoned salmon just you know without anything on it just frozen raw and it has a half k another cupcake and it comes from chili it comes from chili those are the conditions you need it's frozen it's raw it's unseasoned and it comes from chili four conditions no you don't need a picture it's me um members mark that's sam's club brand that's okay walmart brand is okay and the bj's brand the wesley farms is okay and the wegmans is okay yes it all comes in the same place i don't know i wouldn't know maybe okay um so that answers the uh the salmon okay she's asking about lillian's asking about the whole food salmon i don't know but that's not on the on the hufk list i don't think so we don't know about that okay toiletries okay we really have time to get into all the toiletries because then the cosmetics uh we have the list available or if you have a particular question you can call us about that that quick pick list is a useful thing yes the quick quick list let's do that let's bring up the quick list let me show that the quick personal care here can everybody see this barely yeah okay so so this is let me make it a little bigger there you go if you want to get nothing else in the star case site you should get this list and the other list also this is we picked out for you from from uh all the many thousands of products that are acceptable for peso just uh you know a selection of things that um you can go you can take this list go into the store and buy this and not have a problem like the like the scope which i actually brought a sample of but everybody knows what scope is it says scope all all of them are acceptable so you don't know you don't need to look at the at the at the type of scope they're all acceptable listerine there are four that are acceptable without any comments and colgate the the colgate mouthwash all are acceptable they all use vegetable glycerin and then the shampoos and soaps and washes and toothpaste toothpaste is important aim close up colgate pepsiden ultra bright advantage of colgate and ultrabite is that the glycerin in them is is vegetable so that doesn't it's not a that's not a peso issue that's just a cautious issue if i have a open toothpaste at home in my bathroom which never leaves my bathroom do i need to go buy new toothpaste for pesos i think it's customary uh i know it's customary i'm just asking technically not you could just squeeze out a little bit because you touch your toothbrush your toothbrush to it then your toothbrush might have some comments i don't just squeeze that squeeze down a little bit i think it'll be okay i think it's customary to use the new one but if you're really stuck it's fine okay that's that list then we go to the other that list is available on our website and there's the medicine list thank you for reminding me rabbit very important let's make it a little bigger that's what i'm hearing uh yep no that's right that's right thank you okay so here we go i'm not sure what to say to that so yeah you're here for other things too okay um so uh these are again you know people call us all the time what pain relievers that's really the most common question i need some some no pain relievers and and uh for constipation usually gastrointestinal yes okay so here you see the tylenols that are okay regular strength tablets extra strength and all those and okay is on the top of the list here uh they may contain kidneys uh many times the person taking these things he's considered to be a cola he's sick and he's allowed to take these things so it wouldn't be a problem but for instance like toms here it says see page 73 for the list uh which is in in in our book which can tell you really fast tell us which ones give us one or two rabbit but but the point is that it says over there that they have kidneys in them so yeah right they're all right all the times they're well yeah they came out all kidneys yeah because the cornstarch holds it together so if you're taking it because you need it because you're you're let's say tom's regular ex ultra is fine um and then tums smoothies tropical fruit is found in several of them okay right so if you're taking it because you're a cola there's a problem you have a real problem that's fine if you're taking it just because uh you want extra calcium or something like that so not sure that that would be okay do maybe drink some more milk if you can or and it depends on the need the kidneys is only permitted if you have a need and these are not swallowables these are actually chews really eating the kidneys so those two lists are very important after the seder sometimes it's necessary it could be it could be okay um frozen tilapia from costco is that okay we don't have any information about whether or you didn't i don't think told us that it's acceptable or not or you could check with you if if it is okay julie is asking about the medicines we just covered dog food recovered why is that asking why would flavored floss be acceptable all year everybody do you want to tackle that it's not derek um it's not it's not made for you to swallow and you usually don't swallow so unless you're sitting there and sucking on the floss which maybe some people who knows what people do during covet to pass the time but uh it should be uh it should be fine right plus the flavors are not a real serious idea and anyway it's a favorite thing you wouldn't eat them uh you know without a hashtag but in this case it's not like where everybody says not their healer it's fine okay water um with added minerals okay so what water we used to say for many years that water was no problem at all any water plain water was okay we we realized and this is from rabbi brodie in detroit pointed out that some of the waters come with citrates uh which yes or lactates which could be made from uh kidneys so therefore we're not recommending waters that have citrate or kit or or lactate so i believe that the kirkland water and like like dope says in the past had those citrates they probably still have them i didn't check that probably should be avoided it'll say that on the label though it's not on the label yes we'll say it on the label you have to be careful or any flavored uh flavors or any flavoring would be uh would be a problem as well let's go back to our show and tell ruby buyer now let me see what we have here so um so here we have hershey's cocoa which the ou says is fine for pesos so you could buy this special pesach one if you want um it's gonna be that's regular that's that's the regular non-pesto one right regular year-round regular but the ou says it's okay for face up so it's uh you can buy the one with the half shear or not this is something i always like to point out this is gluten free mata style uh squares um you know they're on the shelf with all the matzes and uh the issue is you move it over a little bit to the there you go it's not it's not matzah it looks like it's on there what does it say there in the small print it says may be used for passover and year round no that's not that's not right okay but on the side it tells you uh not to be used as a replacement for traditional passover matzah because and it's a shackle right so you know this is this is something people want to know you go to the store you see this on the shelf and gluten free matz is this is great you know it's uh you know cheap i i i think in the kosher world people know you know whatever it says style next to something kosher style matzah style yes okay i'm just warning so nobody should make a mistake that's all that's a good point that's a good thing but not everybody not everybody comes to our webinars everybody and it's so so uh savvy yeah i don't understand that i think it's the cost you got to drop the could drop the cost a little bit right okay um everybody wants to know about coconut rubbing that's your expertise talk about coconut shredded coconut coconut this has a they taste the texture i just want to tell you that i cannot stand coconut okay but what you're thinking i've been traumatized by coconut in this in by being working for the starkey over the years coconut gives me nightmares you take care of one of the biggest companies in the world for coconuts what is what is the story so they really i mean the myself virgin from what i understand um the virgin coconut oil um [Music] is really they really aren't too many issues with it from a conscious perspective or from a from a pace of perspective um but we only recommend the um the stuff that has a health share for pesos because we're really more concerned about uh equipment issues and things like that uh and how they're processed so wow process hot right it's processed hot tish it's not like uh you know it doesn't really most of the time it doesn't get to be to lettuce but it's hard to it's hard to know and it's hard to know exactly about the cleanliness of all the equipment and things like that so for pesach where we are particular and therefore we only certify those that we have a michigan media at the production um and i believe this year the only one we're doing as far as i know at least in my department is uh is the shoprite brand so that's very important you can go to shop right get a star kp coconut coconut oil coconut oil organic organic coconut oil coconut oil okay that's good that's why people use it for cooking and things like that we do have another company called coconut secret and they have coconut water coconut spray also the coconut secrets are coconut aminos coconut crystals and that doesn't require a p a p hectare on it just a star case enough um but then i was in the store i saw a fair amount of coconut products with the you know they're going to be more expensive than the regular brands but you know that's like um here's coconut milk with with a peso half sugar okay um let me see what else we have the coconut water by the way that we certify is not for pesach just for people should know coco coconut um which is uh one of the more well-known brands of coconut water is not for pesach um it has kidneys in it um we have we have uh you know you don't have to give up your your mondo your soup mondo for face like everything i like to get those the old-fashioned big round ones that we used to get you know all right right together with the spartans um with the fruit slices how about fruit slices and almonds with the chocolate around it i don't even know the nickels anymore yeah um and also we like to point out that safflower oil although some people think it's kidneys we do not uh believe that it is so we think it's okay for pesach and you see it has their huff kp on it that's fine um what else let me see you know when i was a kid peanut oil was still usable remember that yes i do remember i do remember you know my mother's getting like the big metal like jerry can fool that stuff things change things definitely change things definitely change okay we got some questions about about the baby food so here you can buy you know cultural piece of baby food in in in the store where's the where's the peso symbol somewhere in the back i think in our book we have a recommendation you can actually just mosh up your own stuff here's the basics yes we do have that but if you you know you can i'll tell you another way of saving money you can buy uh the gerber if you pronounce gerber or gerber gerber gerber i i think in new york it's uh gerber's gerber okay with the yes okay like great adventures herbert well what they mean is that it's not don't think that they're giving a special header for kids that's gonna be a lot cheaper than whatever you buy you know actually when my wife makes a carrot muffins she uses baby food so and then the gerber also has with oh you green beans and peas but those are obviously kidneys what about the cereal the baby cereal what do we say about that again baby cereal absolutely needs to basically there's no question about it they made with uh they made on the hummus equipment they could have comments in them you definitely need to to be aware of that okay let's go back to the chat that we have what what about formula that's in our it's in the book formula the formulas are acceptable in the book many of them are acceptable uh it's in them we again we save the book but you can go to uh start star-k dot org and click on the passover links and you can download most of the book uh uh that we that we give away for free the the medical information again is a charge for it because it's a support for the cola in los angeles that provides that information so we can maybe isn't the free stuff baby stuff isn't the free stuff okay what about almond milk original unsweetened if cannot drink regular milk okay very good question so libras has a consular piece of almond milk and and and and but if a person can't get that then then as last year the um what's the brand the brand is diamonds i want to look it up one second blue diamond yeah uh almond breeze no almond breeze almond breeze original uh is acceptable if a person is ill or has dietary restrictions and use separate utensils and ideally you should purchase it before pesos so if you can't get the kosher paste with one or it doesn't work for you then you can use the almond breeze original or the rice cream classic original which is also we also say um yeah we talk about soy milk also on page 14 of the book right and soy dream original enriched so so each of those have kidneys in them uh the rice obviously the soy obviously even the almond one you only use it if you if you if you if you really need it you can't get the other one so hopefully that answers that question susan is asking do dried apricots need pesach yes every dried fruit does because of the processing they could add they could put some flour on it to keep it from sticking and things like that um jeffrey says they recommend removing any uneaten fish food after 30 to 45 minutes but from your aquarium how do you do that you should going back to the question we had before the fish food does it become distasteful after being in the aquarium is he saying they recommend to remove it i'm not sure what how you do that but as i said i don't have any fish so actually we did have fish but they died um so i don't have any more fish um napkins okay paper products napkins or buyers that's your yeah just get whatever you want no napkins another problem we usually say you can get whatever napkins you want right um the old days we would tell people they could do a uh an iodine test and you could have a little iodine lying around at home you could put a few drops of light we never found the problem with it so we just said you need to drink napkins garlic from china which has been bleached not sure what that is you have a garlic that you have a garlic fat uh yes we do um spicy garlic peeled garlic with a star k is because we would that's coach lopez around um very good okay there's only the peeled garlic from spice world not the other products at this point from spice world just a plain garlic right so you should find out from could be the issue right right right so uh there's anything in there that's how people would would find out they right you have to check through each one um julie is asking salmon from kosher i'm sorry i can't read that that's little not i wasn't sure what that question is okay meet cochilo pesach meat kosher peso yes meat has to be kosher pesto so we used to say that any meat that comes from a store or chicken uh is kosher peso if it's kosher it's kosher peso but in the past couple years we started realizing that the store is uh even though they're giving you plain meat but they they season they salt they uh not salt but they season it they cook they bread they do all sorts of things in the same area where the meat and chicken is and therefore we're only accepting it if the agency that certifies it accepts it for pesos so for instance in baltimore you have two two major uh supermarkets one is um seven mile market their meat is and chicken is acceptable all year for pesach and it actually says on the label it's acceptable for pesos because they keep it separate there's another store supermarket called nathan market market maven market maven their meat is not acceptable for pesos except for a few weeks before pesos because they uh do all those things in that same area and it's not acceptable for pesos so we recommend that you talk to the uh to the agency that certifies your your meat and find out that's not to say now if you buy the the uh the brands you know pre-packaged from the company like empire that's going to say on it you know right cultural peso so that's would that be enough what's that could i rinse off my meat before it pays off would that be enough we say yeah so our official note on that is what's our official note um it's not in the book it's not in the book it says for official note see the expensive for paying information i wanna i don't wanna say anything that's not our official policy i mean yeah watching off you think might help but just tell us your gut feeling no i get myself in trouble if i give you my gut feeling really no not that gut feeling my gut feeling is that that it should be okay if you have it if because that's the year i think people are going away more than last year they're going traveling uae to the uae they're going to hotels they want to get ice so any any plane any plane bagged ice is okay or if you're in a hotel you go to the ice machine that's all it gives out is ice you don't have to worry about you can get ice from that machine um you know we we started right at the beginning of uh covid we started a hasher on on airline meals on united fresco brand it was uh um united was looking to like upgrade their meals right not not updated but to upgrade the quality and they picked fresco uh brand uh which has star k and also antarctica on united and um that's why you've been taking united because you're like the secret chopper making sure that those meals are meeting uh no i haven't been able to go usually i go there still a few times a year unfortunately i haven't been able to go i wanted to go for him i tried very hard yeah oh i did get the permission from the vad vadata regime there and we could not get permission uh the knesset members working on we couldn't get we couldn't get permission so i have not actually had those meals but if you are going there to stroll you get permission you'll want to lucky few get permission to go on pesach the star k meals on the united flights are star kp you should look for the for the peso symbol on it um so that doesn't need the pesa just i was just reminded now salt salt is okay without any the peso capture as long as it's non-iodized no iodine and doesn't have dextrose or polysorbates that would be fine uh any unflavored seltzer yeah okay as long as it doesn't have citrate as we said before by the water okay the sugar any any uh any plain uh cane or beet sugar with no dextrose is okay as opposed to confectioners sugar which needs his hadar it needs to have a special piece of mixture you can see on the bottom there you have uh two you have the you have you i want to point out that this looks like three hex sharing but actually it's only two there's the oh you and then there's the near batter in hebrew and then the nearby english the same it's the same hatchery uh and it's fine it's a fine hatchet but i'm just saying it looks don't have a problem fruits and vegetables generally we you know are okay except for the bug issues uh they do spray them on the outside connect them shiny and keep fresh we don't have a problem with that for pesach uh uh but you should wash them anyway just to be on the safe side plastic cups no problem phone cups no problem paper bags you could buy them with a piece of hashtag but why i wouldn't okay tablecloths this this has a this has some sort of have sure yeah it probably is for and i bet i think it's rabbit blue immigrants all of a sudden yeah i think so yeah i think so um but anyway they don't need a pest as long as they don't have corn starch in in them you want just make sure it's just plain uh plain plastic okay let's keep going plastic wear is no problem here's the almond breeze i mentioned before from blue diamond that it just has a plain old u but if a person is stuck and they need this and they can't get the one that's your basic it's okay even the vanilla even the skin and it's like a little bit absorbed into your skin it's almost in some way it's like vibing it and therefore a person should be strict unless he has a real need uh to get something that isn't isn't checked out so that's that's why we follow that and rabbit we we use uh shares with us his information which is in the book um yes it's true all these things are not edible not edible to a dog not to a fish not to any animal but um it is a stringency i mean i i will just say that uh just from personal experience and having kind of heard a lot of girls at home yep it's not pasha to find rabbi bess's um recommendations sometimes and there was my best is um sometimes his recommendations are from the cosmetics that are on the high end um okay most people you know most people they go to the store or wherever you go i can also give you some advice from from the female side which is that um that these cosmetics can last a long time so if you find if you find cosmetics that are that are that are good for you so buy maybe some more than you need or you save it from year to year uh they look bad it's not like they spoil so uh that way you don't you don't use it during the year and then you find out next year you can't find the same thing in the store so that's another uh piece of advice okay buyer we we're going overtime it's already an hour the question is should we continue um you that might be easier to okay avocado oil i didn't see any but it's possible why is peanut oil not okay my grandma use it yeah we all used to use it uh it question is whether it's included in kidneys whether it's a legume or not uh originally the thinking was it's not it wasn't part of the original stringency about kidney house about legumes and then somehow in the past 20 30 years only the pita oil anyway was never like peanut butter it was never peanuts right something that comes from kidneys it was acceptable but then people started being strict about it that's what happened so once people started bringing strict we're not going to be leaning about it okay haim is showing us the passover barton's almonds okay that aren't hobby straw but okay is there a canned salmon that's okay there
