Your wife cannot be trusted. Your husband cannot be trusted. No relationship can be fully trusted if there isn't a third partner in the relationship. Nature tells us to be selfish, to survive, to protect ourselves, and to do whatever it takes to be happy. I need to be happy. It takes the force of God to rise above that instinct, to be selfless, and to do what is right even when it doesn't feel good. If God is not a partner in your business, there will eventually be dishonesty and theft. If God is not a partner in your marriage, it cannot truly be an honest marriage. A marriage needs three partners: you, your spouse, and God.
