the problem of trying to translate the word Shalom to your language is that you have to choose only one meaning from all the meanings that the word Shalom have and it's can put you in a trouble if you're trying to understand your Bible because maybe you didn't choose the right meaning or that God decided to put this word with multiple meaning but you can understand it only in one way although when you read it in Hebrew you can understand it in many different ways and perspectives so originally the word Shalom is another name of God in Hebrew it comes from the word Shalom ho because we know that God is everything and God don't miss anything so God is Hope another meaning is just to say shalom as hi why because we want to send our blessing to our friend that he will be hope good with himself and with the world another meaning is peace why because when we are fighting for peace we're fighting we're fixing the word to become whole this is the roots of this word in Hebrew if you have more question please write me in the comments shalow
