Ancient Hebrew Calendar Today :The 9th of the month Av Why Are People Crying?

There is a story [music] about Napoleon in one of his conquest. He entered to a town and he saw a synagogue with [music] Jewish people mourning on the floor. He asked his assistant, "What is going on?" He went there and told the people, >> [music] >> "Why are you mourning? What's happened to you?" They told him, "We are crying about a temple, a house that has been destroyed." [music] He said, "Oh, what can I help? When did it happen?" They said, "Almost 2,000 years ago." Napoleon told all of his [music] people and mentioned that no heart can burn on something that happened to them 2,000 years ago. But probably we got it back. It's not easy [music] to live in Israel, but we mourn and cry for 2,000 years for a dream that we fulfilled my generation [music] today. But we are still trying and learning. Why? Because today we're not only crying about the past, we're crying for the future, for the [music] present. We cry for the unrealized potential of humanity, for a peace between people that God has said in Isaiah, [music] in Micah, and a lot of other places in the Bible. We pray that Jerusalem will be a house of prayer [music] for all nations as the Bible promised. God bless you.
