Before Rosh Hashanah, our volunteers really stepped up and set things up for the community in over 25 locations. Whenever we get a call, they jump right in to make sure no one is left behind. Thanks to everyone who helped out this past year. Now that Yom Kippur is coming, we know that while we're all fasting, most people in the hospital can't, so they’ll have full Yomtov meals and special measuring cups for those on liquid diets. Halachic guidance: milk and grape juice are better than water. You can have 37ml of liquid every 9 minutes. Always consult your local Orthodox rabbi.
