And then there’s the part that makes this video mean so much more to me…

13 years ago, on that trip, I went to the Tziyun for the first time as a bachur and made a promise: if I ever had a son, I would name him *Nachman.*
I had no idea what life would look like 13 years later...
*And now, I’m returning to Uman with my son Nachman!! TYH*
The bachur who once stood there and made that promise is coming back with the boy who carries that name. 🤍

13 years ago...

*My first Rosh Hashanah in Uman!*
I was a young, slightly immature bachur 😅 with a guitar—and already felt I wanted to be part of it all.
On Leil Zchor Bris, we farbrenged with Chaim Israel. I played guitar, everyone sang, and when it was my turn, he pointed at me and said:
“אשרינו שיש לנו *מנגן* כזה!”
Then poured vodka straight into my mouth. 😂
