Open Door Policy

During the Sefira period, we focus on personal development and we also focus on Ahavas Yisroel. Rebbe Akiva's students died because they did not have respect for each other. In response to that, we spend extra time focusing on loving other Jews. The Behrman family built a home that truly embodied the middah of Ahavas Yisroel, so much so that it was even recognized by New York City for its impact.
