Selichos. The very word evokes indescribable awe. To stand before the Almighty, beseeching, entreating, that our prior deeds be regarded mercifully, and that we be inscribed for a sweet new year. Selichos at 770 was a sight to behold, as thousands of Jews would gather in prayer together with the Rebbe.
