Trailer: Farbrengen 4 Sivan, 5742 (1982)

JEM has just completed work on the Rebbe’s Farbrengen from 4 Sivan in 5742 (1982). All the Sichos from the Farbrengen, including the Maamar K’ein Sicha, have been fully subtitled in English, Hebrew and Yiddish. Beginning in 1972, the Rebbe would hold a Farbrengen before Shavuos, often delivering a Hadran on Maseches Sotah, which is customarily studied during the days of the Omer. Of course, the Rebbe would also highlight new lessons and insights to be learned from the approaching holiday. Marking the completion of the Mesechta, the Rebbe would deliver a “Hadran”, an in-depth exploration of the themes touched upon at the close of the respective volume of study. At this Farbrengen, the Rebbe draws on the personalities of various sages mentioned at the conclusion of Maseches Sotah in Bavli and Yerushalmi, to explain the hidden link that connects them, and the deeper lessons which their stories convey.
