CCTV Footage Captures the Lubavitcher Rebbe Burning Chametz Before Passover

For the eight days of Passover, we're commanded not to eat or own any Chametz (leavened bread). On the eve of Passover, we fulfill another Mitzvah by burning any Chametz that remains. To help with the fulfillment of this Mitzvah, the furnace in the basement of 770 was opened to enable individuals from the Crown Heights community to come and burn their Chametz. At 1:32:00 (10:37:50 a.m. on the burned-in timecode), the Rebbe can be seen entering to burn the Chametz.
